The idea behind the story is

1) Put ur own vision and more importantly try and understand maker's position.

2) I dont want to waste time suggesting,I would rather write something which makers can analyse and think of later on when no other plot is left and if it is that bad a idea then atleast feedback from fans would be a help to makers.

3) We as die hard fans have our own vision,we cant change the current track,but we can certainly write our own vision and groom ourself for something creative,apart from writing scenes for current track,testing of possible future track is necessary

4) If we love Maaneet,it is not just makers job to take the responsibility,our efforts shud atleast give some idea or feedback or a plot for feedback.

5) Maan and Geet are loved more than Guru and Drashti,which is so unfair with my sweetheart onscreen couple.

6) I want to liberate Maan and I want to show him falling in love yet again....and also provide scope for makers to rectify and show all those scenes whichh were left out and blunders which he made.

7) When I say Geet is a case study,then makers can use the past episodes in future tracks and make optimum use of the love for Maaneet by proper blend of old and new scenes.

8) My track offers Drashti and Guru alot of scope to show their talent and if editing team is good,then the old episodes can be used to consume time in an episode where Maan goes in flashback..

By doing this,since the scenes are already shot and loved by audience and many would love to relive those moments,actors will get time for new scenes,writers will get time for new scenes and planning can be better.

parallel tracks whic are a result of lack of future planning and are irritating like the one AA track...will have minimum scope

9) Maan and Geet's story cannot end abruptly,the love and hype needs to be properly handled,it is important that with a new and fresh track,both the actors get a chance to prove that it is their acting that has made those characters so memorable.

10) At last..watching Guru and Drashti in the plot which Nissar has designed is once in a life time oppurtunity and efforts of mine are to make full use of it...

one can do so much that it is beyond imagination,if you have Drashti and Guru as leads.

For atleast 2 years he can keep audiences hooked and Geet the number one...

11) As said,I am already writing two movie scripts for Guru and Drashti and now I have an idea for them for TV series as well...

a) Shrimaan,Shrimati aur Swargwaasi..a comedy series starring Guru and Drashti...

Well as a die hard Drashti Dhami fan,I am doing my bit....doesnt matter if the effort is criticised or applauded,for me I am taking the effort matters the most at the end of the day,efforts never go waste,they give you something productive.

Vikrant Khatri loves writing and feels sorry for those who read such big articles...but thanks anyways,I feel good with even one reply...

I have developed such a reputation that few see my name and read the article,few just take their eyes off and say "buzz" off and few have a laugh and fun,discussing this guy is crazy and obssessed..

Well creative people are crazy and without obsession one cannot be creative....becasue you are dedicated towards well being of something precious..

It was october when I had written that makers should take real life issues and potray the best way of dealing with them which is entertainment with some lesson.

Real life issues and plots taken,maan and geet in them,drashti and gurmeet for sure would have an impact on audiences...

"A simple love story,with plots potraying real life issues and an innovative treatment to it,which team geet is good in and eventually they would land up doing what no one else managed to do it"

But it never happended the way I thought,but it was still far better and not as bad as potrayed.

" I have always visualised Drashti and Gurmeet in plots,which address some real life concern or harsh fact,e.g post wedding behaviour and concerns faced and show the world how to deal with them...

Some treatment which is similar to what we saw in "3 idiots"
"Munnabhai Mbbs"
"Rang de basanti"
"Page 3"
"Fashion"

you would find very few TV series getting into such treatments.

"Geet" to a greater extent,excluding few tracks...did get into such treatments,which makes one feel positive and good,but some virus crashed the treatment...

Since days,I thought a time will come when Geet series will be at a point where..all the plots are used,people meant to be punished are punished,new entries,past love,etc,etc all is done and makers have a choice...

"End Geet on happy note and move on with other series,or bring some typical twist and continue for few more months"

One such twist which,I thought was Geet's death in a car accident...............

What follows,a plot based entirey on Kahoo naa pyaar hai.............

Enters Drashti as Maansi who is from Mumbai and is very similar to real life Drashti...

Story would be,reliving those moments yet again with a different set up and build up..

Yet...Maan and Geet scenes in flash back and Maan and Maansi scenes in real...

But many thought I was biased towards Drashti and more importantly they would not like Geet's death.

To my surprise,few days later,I see Geet taking a promise from Maan aur mentos ki batti jalgayi...

After yesterday's episode where Geet prayers for even death in Maan's arms,I felt something fishy is coming our way..

My personal opinion is end Geet on a positive and happy note,but what I feel after visualising a twist with geet's death...is something which if thought by makers needs great preparation becoz cant predict what they will come up with..

Geet series will be a fantastic blend of pain of missing something and gain of getting something,if the treatment is positive rather than dramatic and emotional...

After all for fans and leads,it would be very difficult to get out of the characters Maan and Geet..and even now you will find many who say they love the characters more,which is unfortunate indeed..

Becasue in future,if Drashti and Gurmeet happen to come again,then fans would be surely comparing them to Maan and Geet and then,even good work done would not be appreciated and if it is then,a plot even more fantastic than the one in Geet would be required...

So for makers and leads it is important,before they finally wrap up,they come out of this image and type casting...

History suggest,type casting and past great acheivement have proved decisive in careers of many.

I thought of a plot where both Gurmeet and Drashti can come out of this image...

Smelling,something similar might just happen and fans need to be prepared before,becasue any major twist might not give time to be patient enough for the future track to unfold resulting in complete disaster..

In the past 4 months series Geet has only suffered due to lack of vision and planning from makers and lack of patience from fans which includes me too..

Only few,rather few hundreds dont bother and take the series as entertainment,rest are so involved and my experience from what I see being with fans and as a viewer..

"Geet" has an undefined special feeling which makers wont be able to realise and fans wont be able to express,leaving behind something which is only a result of lack of communication.

"Hope it does not happen and if it is to happen,then as a passionate fan I have penned down my vision,though from an unprofessional,but still might help to get feedback from fans and for fans to visualise if it is ok...if shown...

Here it begins:

Shree Ganeshaya Namah:

Maan is in hospital,the little girl child is with Pinky and Adi,the two friends of Geet who are now married couples..

Maan is reluctant to leave Geet's dead body and is in a state of shock....

Doctors call dadi and request her to take Maan back home,its a state of shock for everyone,Adi and Pinky are looking after the girl kid in their house,Pinky's father is also there.

Maan has not shed a single drop of tear,doctors want him to cry but he is not...

Dadi takes Maan home and the final rituals are over for Geet...

"Geet hui sabse parayiiii"

Maan is in his room,he is not with the child,dadi is worried to see Maan's state...

Arjun and Annie arrive,Arjun is a good husband and is now a friend of Maan Singh Khurana...

He suggests dadi to wrap the bussines in Delhi and go to Mumbai permanently so that Geet's memories dont trouble Maan..

Dadi feels it is the right idea and good for the girl child Reashu..

Dadi calls Adi and Pinky with the girl child...

Adi,pinky,Arjun and Annie are in a conversation.

Dont worry fans,you wont see much of AA track later,but I have to show them for few scenes...becasue Arjun will help Maan wrap his bussiness...

The above plot will take two episodes...

Episode 3

Maan has still not shed tears and is still in a state of shock with eyes wide open...

He goes to his room and lies down and suddenly feels something is poking and is beneath his head..

Its the "taveez" which Geet gifted to Maan..

He takes the Taveez and tears roll out..

Here I take you in flash back and all those scenes from the first time Geet got the taaveez to when she gifted him on the first proposal to many others which followed..

This scene will take you back to all Maaneet moments you witnissed....

Long scene which will come before first break and just before the break...

You will see Maan slowly crying and the intensity and the pain of Geet not around drowning him in tears...

The tough and very smiling Maan is shouting and crying for death...becasue he cant live without Geet around...

Dadi,pinky,Adi Sir and AA rush to Maan,the little kid is taken to room by pinky...

Maan is unconcious and is taken to hospital...

Dadi decides to take the suggestion from Arjun and is all set to sell the entire property in Delhi and move to Mumbai...

What next comes here,those interested can wait and as requested,those who are not,can move on

Episode 4:

Selling the property is not a joke and will take time,Maan is in hospital...

Here I show Maan unconcious and in his unconcious state of mind he is remembering all those moments he spent with Geet...

Here I take you back in flash back....

Now at this point,I will show you those scenes which were left out by Nissar but now can be used as flashback moment or dream sequence becasue in dream and flash back you dont need story sequence,just have to relate and justify the scene and relate it..to the circumstances...

The idea is to,when scene ends,Maan will regain conciousness and will have tears and will be searching for Geet in the hospital room only to slowly realise she is not alive...

Dadi and Adi sir come in...Maan requests dadi that he wont go back home becasue he wont be able to bear the fact that Geet is not alive and her memories would kill him..

Dadi tries to console and makes Maan understand that Geet is in his heart,his mind and soul,whereever he goes,he will find Geet..Adi Sir request Maan to control himself..

All come back home and Maan is sleeping calmly.the little girl child is crying and wants her mother Geet and dad Maan with her...

Reashu is Dev and Geet's daughter and Dadi is worried about Maaneet( son of Maan and Geet.)..who is with Geet's parents and is a small 3 year old kid...

Offcousre the leap is been taken earlier...

Maan wakes up and goes to out house......

episode ends...

Episode 5:

Maan reaches out house and remembers the first meeting when Geet came to outhouse..

The entire episode is all about Maan and Geet..

The song "Toh phir aao,mujhko rulao,toh phir aao,mujhko satao" from the movie awarapn in the background...song sequence

The entire first half of the new episode dedicated to this scene,with cute memories between Maan and Geet relived...

Just before the break..Maan is showed slowly controlling himself...


With a line

" Laut aao Geet"

In break timings u see a car racing and racing very fast...after the break...

Maansi Nayyar:

Who Maansi Nayyar?

Drashti Dhami as Maansi Nayyar: 21st century girl,born and brought up in Mumbai...

Civil engineer by profession and is a Vaastu specialist as well...

She is a very lively person and beleives in:

"Men havent changed their attitude towards women"

"Work hard,party harder"

She is a social animal,loves to party,is decent,she is succesfull,she is a very dynamic person and she is an identity to recon.

Punjabi girl who is a very lively person but comes from a family with traditional values and respects her family,enjoys being with them...

She thinks her parents have given her freedom to do what she feels is right,but staying within the limits of traditions and family and cultural values and ethics..

She beleives,freedom is meant to be practiced and not abused,by acts which will hurt your family and your close ones...

She belongs to a joint family,where you will find a great joint family environment..

Considering the popularity of Maaneet and new series,star one and gul khan after repeated pleads from Nissar have agreed to invest even more and make GHSP a mega epic series...


But Maansi Nayyar is Venudas Punjabi's friend...?

Maan is slowly controlling himself with a feel in his words..

"Laut aao Geet"

You see a branded and class car,can be anything,Audi,Mercedes,BMW any..one..

Racing on the highway,now just like typical daily soap entry,you wont see a girl waving a handkercheif and throwing unnecessary attitude...

Maansi Nayyar is different,she is tom boyish...

She is in a racing competition with Venudas Punjabi....

But she is in USA and has gone there for some project and bussiness work along with Venu...

Break..and after the break..

The introductory scene will make you feel Maansi is a spoiled personality and is a daughter of some industrialist,but she is not and offcouse she wins the race,with Venu and makes fun of Venu who tries catchy lines like

"Haar kar Jitne waale ko Baazigar kehte hai"

Maansi replies to Venu

"Mujhe woh le jayega,joh mujhse woh teen shabd apneliye bulvaye"

(The one whose personality and attitude forces me to say "I love you")

Episode ends with Maan in one scene in India with tears in his eyes and our Drashti in new avataar as Maansi in other...

Yes,its day in USA and night in India..so you will feel the difference...

Geet now aires for 5 days a week..becasue Vikrant Khatri beleives,actors and writers and makers are human and not slaves...though looks good on paper but going by the attitude I have..I rather come in with 5 days a week or no show...

hahahaha,aahhhhhh,bad attitude on most occassions..well...anyways

Episode 6:

Maan is still in outhouse and calls dadi,lets her know he will be staying in outhouse,becasue he feels good in the outhouse,requests her not to force and object the decision and asks Nakul to get his clothes and other requirements...

Dadi requests Adi to take Reashu to his house,where she can stay with and play with "Kulbeer" Adi and Pinky's son whose petname is "Mirinda" offcouse pinky is such a foodie that after his sons zhand she keeps her petname" Mirinda" as a tribute to those three bald people in Mirinda add...

Dadi goes to out house...

Here Maansi is with Venu...

Venu teases her even " God cant force her to say I love you" so it means she will never ever marry..

Maansi rubbishes off and asks Venu to keep wedding topic away becasue she wants to be as big as Venu...

Driving her own high end car... "Beatle" she wants to gift Beatle to her mom...

Offcouse now you get that Maansi was driving Venu's car and Venu is a son of an American industrialist of Indian origin and loves India becasue his Mom was from India and loves Mumbai,becasue the spirit of the city appeals and

There is someone else in Mumbai which appeals him and forces him to stay there...

Scene in out house:

Dadi Maa is in conversation with Maan and before she could console and make Maan understand...Maan himself says to dadi..

He can never ever imagine and accept that Geet is not around but he feels her presence and no one can make him understand she is not alive...

( Maan's back ground music,tadap tadap ke and the one where ooh ho oho ho in sad tune)
is on in the back ground..

Break...

Dadi feels bad for Maan,she calls Arjun and requests him to make the process of selling the property faster,as it is important...

Dadi..follows Maan and put forths the idea of moving to Mumbai,which Maan objects and is upset that without his consent dadi asked Arjun to proceed with the idea..

Break..

Maansi is with Venu and tells Venu not to worry about her wedding,she knows there is someone who can make her say those three words and she wont be searching for the guy,he has to come infront of her..and he will

Here Maan to dadi:

"Mein Geet ko chodkar kabhi Mumbai nahi jaunga,Jahan Geet basti hai wahi Maan ka astitva hai"

Episode ends with Maan and Maansi together on one screen,like starone always does..

Episode 7:

Maan moves out and another moment of flash back comes in with Geet and Maan in flash back,where Geet and Maan are discussing how their life would be without each other and their responsibilities towards the kids...

It is not a scene shot earlier,but you would get to see Geet with Maan,so all those who think they wont get to see Geet,they would get to see Geet with Maan...

It would be the place where Maan and Geet hang out,during their stay in out house,with a zhulla...may be where Maan and Geet had ice cream..

Entire 10 mins conversation and at the end,Maan realising his responsibilities towards Reashu the girl child and the little boy Maaneet...

Just before the break:

Maansi is shown talking to Venu who has arranged a party for her,before she leaves for Mumbai,party with friends and all....

Break..

Post break,party scenes where Maansi is shown partying like a wild animal,for many fans to still feel she is a spoiled character...

At last,it will be a scene where ...

Maan after recollecting the memories of the conversation with Geet in the past,realises moving to Mumbai might be good for him and their kids.

Maansi says I am coming and Maan says " Shayad Mumbai Jaane mein hi bhalayi hai"

Episode ends yet again with Maan in one pic and Maansi in other...

Episode 8:

Since Maan realises that he cant loose control,he goes back and asks dadi where Reashu is? Dadi tells Maan that she is with Adi and Pinky..

Maan goes to Adi's house: Reashu is crying and is asking for Geet,Pinky's father tries to make her understand that Geet has gone somewhere and will come back in few days.
Pinky too tries to make Reashu understand that Geet will come in few days...

Maan is silently hearing this...as Adi has already opened the door..

A controlled and very stable Maan,with pain of Geet's death decides to say the truth to Reashu and takes her out for an ice cream..

Reashu though Dev's daughter is very close to Maan:

Here I will be writing a scene which will make all of you cry,just like u dud when Maan cried on saturday...

Maan will be making reashu realise that Geet is dead and she will never come back...

( Writing team's toughest job) dialogues not yet decided..but the scene would be Maan making Reashu realise,her Mom is no more,but he would never ever make her feel alone..

Reashu is a kid,but as a girl kid promises Maan she would never ever ask for her Mom Geet...and like a good girl would support Maan..

Here I will be showing a relationship which is very similar to what one shared by Sharukh Khan in Kuch Kuch hota hai with his daughter...

Break:

Maan drops Reashu at Adi's place to spend time with "Mirinda" or kulbeer and as she is close to Pinky,she will feel better with her Pinky Aunty...

Maan returns home and dadi is somewhat pleased to see Maan under control..

In america:

Its morning,( The time difference) Maansi gets up and calls Venu to arrange the meeting earlier as she has some important work to do...before leaving for Mumbai...

break:

Dadi is shown thinking of the need of a second marriage becasue of kids,but with a strong feeling that Maan will never agree to marry again..

Scene ends with dadi wondering if Maan will ever marry again and Maansi in america...two pics..episode ends..

Episode9:

Well those who feel where will Nissar shoot scenes of America then in India and specially in Mumbai and my city Poona,there are many places which will give a feel of one being in America...

Specially racing scene can be donne on Mumbai Poona highway or Mumbai Banglore Highway...

So the story continues...


The actual entry of Maansi is yet to come,till now she is shown like one who is a spoiled girl and beleives in fun...The meeting is kept a secret...for now to reveal it later...

The episode begins with Maansi and Venu happy with the outcome of the meeting and now Venu asks Maansi why she had asked Venu to arrange the meeting early...

Maansi wants to visit Church and confess something....in the confession box....

She does not reveal this to Venu and visits church before leaving for Mumbai....

Maan returns to out house and is thinking of his interaction with Reashu the child and comes Geet in Maan's imagination...

You cant call this as illogical,becasue Maan loves Geet alot and feels her presence every where...

He is thinking of if he has done right by revealing the truth to Reashu..

Here you get another interaction as Maan and Geet...but it is a kind of what you have seen in Mohabatein..for me it looked stupid..then..but with Maan and Geet I can feel what love is all about..its feeling the presence even when the person is not around..and true love is loving the person even when the other person is no more and would never come back..


Hmmm feeling the pain...where are the nok zhoks..

Well they will come ahead,thoda build up toh ho jane do yaaarooo...

Double Maza zaroor milega...

I wont make u guys cry for long and neither our Maaneet...

Break;

Maan is shown having an interaction with Arjun and agrees to sell the property and move to Mumbai...

he still has to do alot of wrapping work in Delhi,Maan is getting ready to move to Mumbai..

He decides to handover his projects in USA and UK to other firms,Dadi expresses surprise becasue it wasnt required,but Maan expresses that he wants to concentrate more on his kids and give them time and also wants a quality time for himself where he can live in Geet's memories..

Dadi justifies his decision but lets Maan know that slowly he has to come out of Geet"s memory..to which Maan reacts sharply with glare in his eyes...

Break:

Maan calms down and requests dadi and expresses that he understands what she meant,but for him the only treasure and hope he has to continue living is his kids and the memories of Geet..

There is no other hope or reason and the episode ends with

Maan and Maansi in one pic yet again..

Giving fans the excitement when they would confront each other and what would be the reaction of Maan..
