Taani walked into the room and saw Onu was sat on his matress, resting his back on the wall and staring down at the floor, in front of him.

"Onu?" she said but he didn't look up. He just ignored her.
"Kuch dino se vo bohat ghumsum hai. Pata nahin kyun"
"Kya?" she asked and turned to make her way over to him."Onu?" she said, touching his hair to get his attention. He took her hand from his hair and removed it before looking ip at her, sadly. "Kya hua Onu?" she asked worriedly as she bent down in front of him.

He refused to look at her. Where had she been for the past few days? She hadn't come to see him. She'd forgotten all about him.

He turned his back to her and faced the wall, running his hand over his art work.

"Onu? Tu ghussa hai mujhse?" she asked. He turned his head slightly to look at her and nodded before looking away again. She got up and sat beside him, turning his chin to look at her. "main jaanthi hoon ke main bohat dino se nahin aayi lekin...." she tried to explain but he looked away.

"Mere taraf nahin dekhegha?" she asked and he shook his head. "Onu?" she saidtrying to get his attention. He looked up and saw her then looked away again.

"Theek hai" she sat down properly, her back resting on the wall. "main khud khaoonghi" she said opening her bag.

Onu was still facing the wall and casually glanced over to see Taani take a box of mitaai out of her bag and his face lit up. Taani looked up at him but he looked back at the wall. "baad main nahin kehna ke maine poocha nahin" she said taking a piece out of the box.

Onu leaned over to reach into the box, making Taani smile to herself, he saw her smiling and tried to suppress a smile himself but failed and smiled back.
