Taani smiled Onu's way then noticed a bump on his forehead. She leant forward and ran her fingers over the fairly large bump and gasped. "Onu!" she exclaimed and he took her hand away from his forehead and took them in his, moving his haie to hide the bump. It was no use.
"Onu!" she said, moving his hair that fell in front of him away from his face. "yeh kya kiya tune?" she asked but he shook his head. "Onu, main do din ke liye kya jaati hoon aur tune aisi haalat banaadiya apna" she shook her head.
"Taani" he stopped her hand oncemore and this time touched her cheek, assuringly.
"Jaanthi hoon main tujhe, dekh ke nahin chalraha hoga, hain na?" she asked "tehr" she reached for her bag "main saaf karti hoon" she said getting a tissue out and wiping the dry blood around the bruise.
"Kitni baar main kehti thi tujhe? Apna diyaan rakha kar! Lekin nahin! Tu meri baat suntha kahaan hai?" she muttered, making Onu smile as she pushed his hair back.
She was still Mishti. His Mishti. She hadn't changed.
"Onu?" Taani looked up "Tu sunraha hai na?"
"Haan" he nodded, smiling as she put the tissue away.
