After the Jaimalas were exchanged, they stood before the presiding Deity, eyes closed, arms folded and prayed sincerely for their happiness in this new journery of life... Seated next to each other, inside the makeshift mandap, Saachi and Shravan, presented a most charming, and beautiful sight of the best romantic couple in the world...

Shravan tied the Mangalsutra around Saachi's neck...applied the crimson sindhoor on her forehead...The Shehnai music drowning any asubh words that might have inadvertently been uttered...A poignant scene that will always remain in the hearts of the people viewing it...

Taking the Saath Peras, they took their own version of the seven vows before the Pavitra Agni...

To promise each other to take care of their families and responsibility of their home;

To stand with each other, letting no harm affect them, providing strength and courage to each other;

To vow for prosperity and wealth and good wishes and love for each other only;

To remain faithful to each other and unite to bring to this world their children;

To accept each other as their best friends and honour each other till their ends;

To wish for everlasting happiness and stand by each other during all times;

To become Husband and wife, promising of belonging to each other till eternity, with GOD observing as witness;

Showered by flowers and blessings from all, they went around, getting aashirwaads from elders...Finally they have become Man and wife; Saachi and shravan= SAAVAN... Both felt and experienced the essence of marriage which can be summed up as follows; ..

Chains don't hold marriage together, It's the thread, hundreds of tiny threads which sew the people, the families together, throughout the years ... This is what makes a marriage last forever...

The evening approached for the reception to take place at the prestigious Hotel at 6pm...A very elaborate glittering affair...The occasion graced by VIPs, politicians, friends, relatives, business associates; and all the near and dear...

HE called Pratap and Inder on their cell phone and threatened, that a bomb would go off....Both the samdhis, knew it was a hoax call, as the whole hotel was guarded like a fortress both by the police and private security agencies...Also each and every member entering it was thoroughly scanned and checked, all done in a discreet manner without hurting anyone's sentiments...
