Sara Khan to turn author

Sara Khan, who plays the lead in Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein shares a name with the Bidaai and Bigg Boss actress but little else.

Sara, who plays a bindass girl and a politician in her show, is also a writer. She reveals: "Before taking up Dhoond Legi I had started writing two books. My book offers tips to parents and teenagers. I had completed half the book on parenting but now, due to the show, it will have to take a back seat for sometime."

Sara has been a psychological consultant for more than a year now. She says: "The main aim of my books is to give tips to parents and teachers as they are the ones who pressurise children the most. If your son hasn't got 90 per cent in his examinations, it's not the end of the world. It's important to make them understand this. I feel when you study everything and do things out of the boundary, you broaden your mind. This needs to be understood not only by the parents or teachers but also by teenagers."

Sara has another practical reason for holding back her book. She says: "I will release the book once I become more popular because then people will take me seriously. People listen to you when you are popular so I am waiting for the right time."
