Who got a raw deal in Bollywood?

😕 So many actresses/actors came and went in Bollywood who got a raw deal. The biggest two that come to my mind are Amrita Rao and Mahima Choudhary. Mahima got a big banner and # 1 actor in her first film, SRK and Pardes with Subhash Ghai. Then, her career never took off. She was so talented. Amrita Rao also started off with big banner films, then slowly left the limelight. She is coming back in 2011 with Tusshar Kapoor in her next (sounds boring 🤢). Why did the big directors not show interest in her?

It is such a shame so many of the talented people got a raw deal. Who can you think of? 😲

Amrita rao messed up her career herself in trying to be bipasha basu to remove her girl next door image and set herself as a sexy diva

so i say ur career is in ur hand, no one makes or breaks it, oh ya except ur business managers

I was sort of an Amrita Rao fan when MHN came out but then she got stuck doing all these crappy movies.

Gaytari Joshi is another who comes to mind. I beleive she's married with kids now, but she was amazing in Swades, so beautiful and quite talented!

Yeah, I quite liked Amrita Rao myself. She was good in some of her films like Masti and MHN.

Great topic. I really liked Mahima and Amrita too. They were both talented. Loved Mahima in a lot of movies she was in, in the early 90s. And Amrita was so good in Ishq Vishq. Sometimes it's a mystery to me why these actress are not popular enough or make it big.

I so liked her in Swadesh..... her absence is a loss of Bollywood !!!! 😛

Even Gracy singh was a fyn actress !!!!!

I agree that Amrita Rao is a great actress especially in films like Vivaah she and Shahid Kapoor are a lovely couple on screen.

I also thought Ayesha Takia, Fardeen Khan and Harman Baweja and Genelia D'souza are great actors they just havent had the right film to showcase their talents.

The first person that comes to mind is Gayatri Joshi. I think she had so much potential in Bollywood. She was so sweet and fabulous in Swades! She was one of the luckier ones who got her debut with Shahrukh. Gayatri had so much potential to do well in the industry. :( Miss her in movies.
