There is no doubt about the trust Maan has in Geet, he believed her and himself actually connected the dots too before she said Dev😉 But he is human being too, not easy to digest the fact your own brother was able to do something horrible like destroying a girls life for money..so that moment..he didn't doubt Geet but he just didn't wanted to believe it and went into denial.

When he said 'dev aisa nahin kar sakta, it wasn't denial, it was more of wishing that he didn't do something like that.

.Yes this is what is called human nature..when geet told him she is pregnant he believed and walked away..as it just involved geet so all of anger was on geet...:(.but when the topic came to his own brother..he didnot believe..though he punched dev and said i will get justice to geet and all...hehe ...blood is thicker than water...hehe i was not expecting this from maan...frankly speaking:(after all they have shown their love is beyond earthly relations
