Damon kills Vicki because he was out of the cage and needed human blood to energize and he could have died without the feed....so, Vicki was the first human he met and he killed her.....then stefan or was it Nina who kills Vicki, the vampire.....!!!!
When Isobel tells Elena that Damon loves her, she does react, in her own way...she looks at him astonished, tries to read his face and when he looks at her, with his bare heart and vulnerable self, she knew Isobel was right...she does have an emotion on her face that told her that she ACKs the fact that he did all this for her......but as Yamini said, she is with Stefan, she has a pristine soul, she would never think about betraying stefan, no matter what her feelings are...and hence, it is imp tht stefan does somthign for her to grow the distance with Stefan....Even when they are not gng around, she is still connected to him in her own way.....Damon's path is not yet clear because its still Stefan!!!...Officially they have broken up but not mentally.....and Damon knows tht.....
BTW, All the snaps in which these 3 feature, Ian and Nina are standing close, literally touching and stefan is beside Nina but at an arms length....always!!!
