Okay, I manage to improve the delivery for today's update 😊
At Savita's house, Jayesh pulls out the newspaper & glances @ it. He's shocked to see Neeraj's mugshot. He shows it to Savita & asks her whether she recognizes him, and of course, she doesn't. He tells her that Neeraj was the guy Sandhya talked about a lot, and who was there and won the dahi-hundi contest. Savita asks why his mugshot is in the papers?
Jayesh reads, and says that it seems like there's a Rs 10 lakh reward on his head. He says that the Jagirdars must have offered it. He points out that Yuvraj & Sandhya were there for 2 days, & Neeraj was w/ them, and he didn't seem like the type who commits a fraud.
In the Jagirdar suite, Purushottam, Prabhavati & Sunita are sitting, waiting for news from Yuvraj & DK. The phone rings, & it is Savita. Prabhavati answers it, and Savita asks her whether they were back in Gwalior. Prabhavati tells her that they got there last night. Savita tells her that they saw Neeraj's photo in yesterday's paper. She asks what it's about? Prabha asks her how they know Neeraj, and Savita tells her that she doesn't but Jayesh does, since he was there for the Gokulasthami. Prabha tells her that he was the son of their old employee, and that they had raised him since he was a kid, and this is how he turned out. (Actually, Prabha, it doesn't reflect to well on his upbringing, which you did 😆) Savita tells her that Jayesh remarked that he didn't look the type, and Prabha tells her that appearances can be deceptive (you can say that again)
Savita then tells Prabha that she can't get hold of either Yuvraj nor Sandhya. Prabha tells her that they don't have international roaming (if anyone would have it, they would) and that they call her daily. She'll have Sandhya call her that night.
After the call, Puru asks her where she'll get Sandhya from? Prabha agrees w/ him, and says that while she wasn't sure, she thinks Savita might be suspicious, and that the only way to dispel her suspicion would be to get Sandhya talk to her. But she has no idea where Sandhya is. She then looks @ Sunita, and an idea seems to strike her.
Neeraj & Sandhya are walking in the woods, and finally, they arrive @ a highway. Neeraj tells her that when he put her on the truck and told her he'd find her, and the truck went off, only he knew the condition he was in. He fooled Yuvraj real well 😆👏
Sandhya tells Neeraj that she was only 4 when she lost her eyesight, but she never accepted defeat in life, and did everything to get around this disability 👏 With all her efforts & practice, she learnt how to live w/ that disability. Even though she couldn't see, experiencing everything going on around her, recognizing people like sighted people do and so on were all things she taught herself and got used to. All these years, she never regretted being blind. (This part was really uplifting to hear) But today, for the first time, she's angry w/ the gods for snatching away her eyesight. If she could have seen, she'd have had her revenge on the Jagirdars, and Neeraj wouldn't have had to escort her everywhere. And Yuvraj, who was her hubby but still locked her in the room w/ DK uncle.... Sandhya is too disgusted to even think what he did.
Neeraj tells her not to be so upset, and that whatever she pulled off, a lot of sighted people couldn't have pulled that off. She did a very courageous thing, and had no reason for regrets. He thinks to himself that he too is angry w/ the gods for first making her blind, and then subjecting her to all this. (Neeraj, add to that not letting Sandhya be married to Neeraj instead of Yuvraj)
Yuvraj & DK are driving, and Yuvraj asks him where in the jungle will they hunt for Neerdhya. DK tells him that they won't stay there long, and ask his men to scour every village and every place for them.
Sandhya asks Neeraj where they are. Seeing a milestone, Neeraj tells her that they are 184 km from Mumbai and 34 km from Pune. He asks Sandhya where she wants to go. Sandhya tells her that it's not safe for him to be in Mumbai, since his mugshots would be everywhere, and that he himself had pointed out that until matters cool down, it's not safe for her to be near her sisters. So she tells him that they're better off heading for Pune. Neeraj takes her & crosses the road.
Neeraj tells her that Pune starts from the point they are, but how are they to get there, and where would they stay? After all, he has only Rs 10 in his pocket. Sandhya asks him to seat her somewhere, and once she does, she takes off her payals & hands it to him. She tells him that Yuvraj had himself snapped her mangal sutra, and these payals were all that were left, and hopefully, they weren't as fake as the Jagirdars were. If it's gold, just sell it. Neeraj is hesitant, but Sandhya tells him that those payals were given by the Jagirdars, who were also responsible for the situation they were in. She thinks that if he can sell it, at least something of theirs came of use. 👏 At least, that way, they can have food & lodging, or else, where will they roam about @ night? Neeraj asks her how she knew that it was evening, and Sandhya tells him that the change in temperature gave her the idea that it was evening, and going to be night soon. Neeraj agrees to sell the payals, conceding that they don't have any alternatives.
Savita's phone rings, and Suni chachi, reading from a script, tells her that it's Sandhya. Sunita asks her whether she couldn't recognize her, and Savita tells her that she does sound different. Sunita tells her that that's b'cos she has a cold. Savita scolds her, telling her that she must have had something cold (this is priceless - Suni chachi getting bhashans from Sandhya's tai, since she thinks she's Sandhya 😆🤣) Sunita denies it, saying that it's very cold there and she didn't want to come, but Yuvraj insisted. She wanted to attend the shradh, but Yuvraj refused to listen.
Savita tellls her that it's no big deal, and that their father would be happy to know that she can see again. Sunita tells her that she didn't want to go, but bari papa made her. Puru is disgusted by this lie, and leaves the room. Savita tells her to give them the good news once she's back. Sunita tells her that it's still early stages yet. Savita asks her for her number, but Sunita tells her that their number is constantly changing since they are roaming about, but that she'd call her regularly. Savita asks her how's Yuvraj, and she tells her that he's gone downstairs to get her Indian food. Savita tells her that she can't tell her not to have outside food 😆 but to make sure that she's puntual about her food timings. Sunita then tells her she needs to freshen up, and takes her leave.
This whole time, Sunita did an amazing job impersonating Sandhya - one that dear hubby DK would be impressed by. Particularly, the way she haltingly spoke. All this while, Prabha had her ear on the phone, so that she could hear Savita's end of the conversation as well.
Prabha congratulates Sunita on a job well done, and that she'd ask DK to arrange for her parents to be restored their home. After all, she's DK's wife, and the bahu of this family. Sunita in her mind apologizes to Sandhya, knowing that she'll understand the duress she's under.
Neeraj & Sandhya finally are in a hotel room, and she asks him whether he had any problems getting it. He tells her that he did have some problems - after all, he had no proof of ID, no luggage, and on top of that, they had been in the same clothes for 4 days 🤢 Sandhya agrees, and Neeraj tells her that he's put in money for 5 days. He suggests they freshen up, but notes that they don't have a change of clothes. 🤢
Shreya & Mohan are in the streets, and she asks him what places are there to see? Mohan tells her that it's his first time in this city as well. He then mischievously asks her whether they got away from their family just to see the city? Shreya tells him that he gets started anywhere 😆 (Shreya tai, he does need some romantic moments w/ you - please don't cause him to miss it) She tells him that he'll be out on work tomorrow, and what will she do alone in the hotel? Therefore....
Mohan suggests that they go shopping, and they enter a shop, where Neeraj is buying some clothes as well. Yuvraj is outside that store, and reports to DK that he's outside that market but can't find Neeraj anywhere, while DK insists that his spy saw him there. Yuvraj agrees to keep looking. (I think that when Yuvraj sees Mohan & Shreya, he himself will have to hide, since they all are supposed to think he's w/ Sandhya in Switzerland. Of course, if he's unaware of that and shows himself to them, he'll be putting himself in another fine pickle that DK or Prabha will have to cover up)
Another fantastic episode. Luckily, nothing happens to Neeraj & Sandhya this time. I think that seeing Mohan & Shreya in town might make Yuvraj have to lay low, and maybe DK do the searching. I hope the Jagirdars are thrown off soon enough and left w/ no choice but actually return to Gwalior (unlike what Prabha told Savita) Or that Neerdhya escape to a farther off city like Akola. Also, I'm glad that Sandhya is thinking about Neeraj's safety as well, and not just herself.
Sunita did a remarkable job impersonating Sandhya, and for the first time, was on the same side as her family. Hopefully, her parents get back whatever was theirs, and she's treated better, since there's nothing she can do from now on for either Neeraj nor Sandhya. While the deception was disgusting, it was funny seeing her getting bhashans from Savita tai 😆
Hopefully, Mohan gets some real romatic moments w/ Shreya this time, w/o any interruptions. It was nice to see them again today - and I'm not missing Roha, or even for that matter Adisa.
