FV says that when one has grown up w/ certain people, it's next to impossible to believe that they are capable of evil. Probably, this is what kept Neeraj from believing what he learnt about Shyamrao's death - the Jagirdars, who he knew for years, were incapable of murdering anybody. However, whatever he's seeing today around him is clear to his eyes - he doesn't have the leeway to assume anything about that, since it's obvious to him.
Neeraj is sitting in his room alone, wondering about what Suni chachi told him. He tries to convince himself that Yuvi's dad would never allow that to happen (Neeraj, it was an accident, and so, it's not a question of allowing. However, the things they did since to cover up is more vile than if they had actually intended to murder) But if it did happen, how did Yuvi's dad stay silent? But Neeraj also realizes that Suni chachi wouldn't lie to him, and put such a charge against her family if it wasn't true, and on top of that, why are the family members misbehaving w/ her? So she must be telling the truth.
Neeraj then wonders about the injustice being done to Sandhya, and that too just to demonstrate Yuvraj's manhood, that he's a normal man. Neeraj scolds himself for not being able to do anything despite all this happening around him, and not doing anything for Sandhya. He feels ashamed of being on the side of the Jagirdars. He thinks Suni chachi is right - not just Yuvraj, but nobody is a man in this house. Nobody is doing anything for a blind & helpless girl, not even Neeraj. He asks himself if he is going to go against the Jagirdars out of his love for Sandhya?
Sandhya enters her room. Yuvraj is there, and silently sneaks behind the bed and pushes it, shifting it some feet down, (I wondered how it didn't make any sound whatsoever that Sandhya might have noticed - did it have wheels?) while Sandhya is on her way to the other end of the room. As a result, the bed gets in Sandhya's way, and she trips on it and falls on it, hurting her knee. 😡 Yuvraj rushes to her and asks her how she hurt herself? Sandhya tells him that she's fine, but that the bed wasn't here. Yuvi tells her that it was, and that in a hurry, she may not have noticed. He offers to help her, and tells her not to walk around alone, but call him whenever she needs help. (Doesn't Yuvraj have anything else to do?) He helps her come to breakfast, while she limps 😡 She declines, telling him to go ahead, while she sits outside for a while.
Suni chachi is working around the house, and in her room, she suddenly sees her own image talking to her. Her image mocks her, and asks her what's the point of staring now - when it was time to think, you didn't. Suni chachi is confused, and the image tells her that if the Jagirdars find out that she's told Neeraj, she and her parents will be killed. And how does she know that Neeraj will stay quiet? And why?
Neeraj wonders how he can still stay there, given that the truth is that these people killed Sandhya's father, and Yuvi's dad let it happen.
Savita, Anand, Jayesh & Kapre are @ the basti, and discuss the raid on Malati's house. Jayesh & Kapre both tell Anand that Malati's bro isn't an easy character to deal w/, he is a gunda, but Anand tells them that he has experience dealing w/ such characters. He tells them how they will go about it, so that he doesn't get any advance notice of it and flee the spot. They all discuss.
Neeraj is standing @ the top of the stairs, when Suni chachi comes looking for him. She takes him to a secluded room and tells him not to tell anybody what she told him: like the secret about Yuvraj, this secret too has become a top secret of the family. As it is, that was the reason they reduced her and her parents to a pitiable condition. Neeraj tells her that at this point, he's no longer afraid of anyone, and won't stay silent. Suni chachi begs him, and tells him that she was scared of him asking her jija such questions. She tells him that only a few people in this family know of it, and except her, they are all on one side. If he told anybody else about it and they found out, she'd be the person they'd be after. She's already suffered a lot, so if he cares for her, he must stay quiet about this. Neeraj reluctantly agrees.
He also clarifies to her that he did go to Ooty, but there, due to both his own conscience not allowing him and also due to Sandhya recognizing him, he couldn't do anything wrong to Sandhya. She is still chaste. Suni chachi is happy to hear that, and tells him that she knew that he wouldn't do such a thing, but had her doubts when she learnt that he too went on their honeymoon.
DK walks around, calling for Suni. Suni tells Neeraj to hide, and that if DK saw her talking to him, her life would be in danger. So Neeraj hides in a dark room close by. Suni chachi then walks out to the end of the staircase. He asks her what she was doing, and she says cleaning (although she has no dusting cloth or anything like it in her hand) He tells her that had she listened to him, she'd not have to do all that. He then gets suspicious and peeps into the room, but somehow doesn't seem to see Neeraj, who incidentally didn't do a good job hiding. He then goes back to Suni and tells her that her work is over after today, but he doesn't want any more antics from her, b'cos she's done enough already. Neeraj overhears this. (If DK did spot Neeraj, he may have chosen to say all this, and endanger her later, or else risk getting into a fight w/ both Neeraj & Suni chachi. Let's see)
Adi's kids are beside him asking him questions, like why is a tail crooked, and why is a fox brown, while he's busy on his laptop. He tells them that it just is. They start playing w/ his laptop, and he protests, & Sakshi calls them and tells them not to ask him anything, since he knows squat (Sakshi, it's not a good idea to teach them to disrespect their dad - they are naughty enough as it is) She then gets them to start on their drawing, while telling Adi snidely that managing kids is an art that not everybody can do. Adi looks @ her jaded.
Sakshi then calls Sandhya, and while Sandhya is reaching out for the phone, Yuvi picks it up, tells her it's Sakshi di and hands it to her. Sakshi teases her that she hasn't called her since she returned from the honeymoon, and Sandhya tells her that she thought of doing so, but thought she was busy. Sakshi tells her she has every right to disturb her whenever, and not to use that as an excuse. She asks about the honeymoon, but Sandhya hesitates to say anything, and Sakshi guesses that Yuvraj is there. She tells Sandhya to call her back later, when he ain't. Yuvi looks @ Sandhya, somewhat suspicious.
On Sakshi's end, Aryan asks Sakshi which moon is honeymoon? 🤣 Sakshi is shocked, and Adi gets his chance @ a comeback - tells her that since she's the expert know-it-all, she can tell them!!! 👏 She asks Aryan where he learnt that word, and he says just now, when she was talking to Sandhya mausi 😆 Yash tells her that he too wants to go on a honeymoon, like Sandhya mausi. 😆 Sakshi recovers and tells them that honeymoon is just like full moon or half moon 😆 - if one takes a walk in the moonlight, they call it a honeymoon. They too will go on that, but later. Adi too laughs, & the kids rejoice that they too will all go on a honeymoon.
Malati's bro is sitting counting the wads of cash, and boasts to Malati how easily Jayesh got conned. Malati tells him that this is enough, and that Jayesh is a simple person and who knows what trouble he went thru to get this cash. Her bro tells her that they should do whatever they can to make their own lives easier, and not bother about others. If Jayesh runs out of money, he can sell his sasur's house, and bring money. He's got a new ATM, w/ pincode.
At this point, Malati comes in, and tells him that he'll go to jail, w/ handcuffs. He asks her who she is, and Jayesh walks in w/ Anand, and Savita tells bro that everyone has the right to be careful, but nobody has the right to fool others. She tells him that she knows everything, and bro asks what does she know? Savita starts that the baby Malati is carrying is her husband's. Bro denies it, but at that moment, Kapre walks in, and bro is shocked while Savita asks who he is. Savita lists the charges against him - first ensnaring her husband, then blackmailing him, then laying a despicable canard against her father, and then separating Malati from her husband.
Inspector Anand then tells him that from this day, Kapre will stay w/ his wife in this house, while bro will come w/ him to jail. Bro then pulls out his knife, captures Savita and holds the knife to her throat. There is a standoff, and bro then tries to make his escape, but Anand & Kapre capture him. While he breaks free, his knife cuts Savita in the stomach, and Jayesh notices blood on the knife when it falls. Savita has blood in her hands. Seeing this, the bro is shocked, saying that he had released her, but Anand tells him he is done for. However, Savita appeals to him not to arrest the bro, and that it was her father's wish to get this family out of troubles, not into more. Malati's bro is shocked to hear this, and falls @ her feet. He apologizes, and joins in helping get her to hospital.
FV concludes by saying that sometimes, while helping one set straight their lives, one's own life gets endangered, and that too to the point that it may not exist
Jayesh tells Anand that he knows that nothing will happen to Savita. The doc will come out and say that she is out of danger. Just then, the red light in the OT starts flashing.
One thing I liked about this serial so far, which I didn't today, was its absense of the 'mahaan' bug too common in other serials. This was spoiled by Savita, when she insisted that Malati's bro not be arrested. They would have done well to arrest him & press charges. Savita needed to help the Kapres, not Malati's bro. And it was unbelievable that he reformed so easily.
Sakshi needs to learn how to respect Adi's kid management, if she wants his help when she's doing other things. Insulting him is not the way to do it, since it undermines the respect the kids have for him. Aside from that, the segment was funny - from now on, Sakshi can't have any conversations w/ her sisters, since her kids will ask about such activities. 😆
Sandhya's suspicions have risen enough, and she'd do well to confide in Sakshi in private about what happened in her honeymoon, when she's sure Yuvi's not around. On the other end, Neeraj is almost @ the tipping point - he's now learnt the truth about Shyamrao's death, and this is likely to increase the distance b/w him & the Jagirdars.
So Yuvi's trying to make Sandhya a total dependent on him. But his pushing the bed into her path was disgusting - she ended up limping thanks to him. All this so that later, she can be tricked into sleeping w/ someone other than him.
