Anyway, but after having lunch, I kept eating this and that and had so many stuffs in dinner that now I am feeling too full to move. I think I gained all pounds that I lost fasting. Don't mind though, I am trying to gain weight. I look like a direct victim of inflation and poverty. Moreover, my previous tailor used to make my clothes so fitting that I would have hard time breathing. In order to utilize my clothes, I didn't act upon my decision of gaining weight. But now, I have got a whole new wardrobe, and thus, I will eat as much as I can. And I have no idea how and why I took the topic of fasting to clothes and tailors😕.

Unbelievable! You're trying to GAIN weight?!?! I'm trying to loose some! At least 20 pounds. I feel like a bloated balloon. I did loose some during Ramadan so that's good - and now that my stomach has shrunk I can't eat more than half a serving before I fill up.. 😆 Waise all my clothes are absolutely out dated! My mom goes back to Pakistan and gets me what she thinks is in - which means they're usually 10 years out of date. I like the current style too - the long loose shirts - but unfortunately I am sure I won't ever have them. I am not buying anything here - yahan toh loot machayi hui hai - and I am not going back anytime soon so I'm just stuck with the old 90s ka random fashion.. 😆

Coming back to the topic, you should really eat something now. And you are working even today? This is harsh! I know Eid is no longer as fun as it used to be when I was a kid....but well, a person should be given a holiday on this day.

Nah, I was working yesterday since it was a Friday. Aaj toh it's Saturday so I'm lounging around like a hobo at home.. It's quite fun too! I caught up on my sleep - and THAT is all the Eidi I need.. Or get.. 🤣

It's still celebrated the same way here. New clothes, bangles, mehndi, lotss of food andddd the best thing about Eid, Eidii!! LOL...I don't like dressing up and socializing too...Socializing here toh is like a reason for auntys to stare at you..

It used to be tough pehley, because I was in the whole "Eid deserves a day off and I need to dress up" mode back then. Ab toh it's really just something that needs to be done for appearances sake and nothing more. Mera bass chaley toh I'd boycott it entirely.. I meant boycott the socializing/dressing up part. I KNOW!! Aunties do stare at you - one of them came up to me and asked me where my husband was! Turns out it was her not so stealth way of making sure that I was single. Hadh hai!

I don't like putting on Mehndi. I like how it looks, but the smell irks me😕. When I was young and had no say, I did put it on. That used to be the only other fun part other than the eidi stuff. Some cousins gathering together and putting on mehndi. Now the I am older and ummm...I wouldn't say wiser, but more picky about stuffs, I choose not to put on mehndi. I simply can't stand the smell. My sister has it on, and I just can't go near her. I still haven't taken my eidi from her :P

Its long and loose there, Mash?! Wow...that's nice. Here, the kameez cannot be more than one inch below the knee, otherwise people look weirdly at you. And the fitting is your preference. My clothes aren't tight, this time (thankfully)....but they aren't very loose either as I look like I have been covered by a tent if I were really loose kameez. Kurtis and shirts are good though. Hahaha....you have stopped trying to gain weight? I am gonna start it. I really look awful. Its because I have got a decent enough face, so I still look like I belong from a well-off family. Otherwise, with help of battered clothes, I would be able to pass of as a begger🤣
🤣🤣 For God's sake, my 2 year old nephew weighs just 7 KGs less than me😕, and he isn't even fat.

True, with uni open, gaining weight become difficult. I love walking from one campus building to another, and really love taking stairs instead of lift.....so whatever I manage to gain, I lose doing these stuffs. Plus, stress.....that really takes off pounds.

Hahaha...I have never had an incident like this, fortunately. But yes the aunties have really amusing way of asking if we are single or not, what are we doing these days...etc etc...Sometimes it's annoying too...

I'm listening to songs from Guide, a movie that released in 1965. And really, these songs can put the latest hits to shame...and Lata is beyond brilliant!

@Mash...you still get Eidi?😲 That's so unfair! My Grandma and parents are generous with their Eidi, but my other relatives aren't. Some are still nice in giving Eidi, others toh miser kahike. Khaane chale aate hai, or paise bhi nahin dete :@ :P

@Fivr.....I don't like being teased as size-zero😕😆. Mom likes my idea of gaining weight, dad said that I should improve my eating habits, but be careful with it so as to not become fat.

Lol, you are still carrying on with 90s ke style?😆 I can totally understand you preferring to carry on with backdated style rather than spending hefty amount on clothes. Its not really worth it! Fashion changes every now and then, and then you have nothing more to do than regret spending so much on clothes.

Good that you caught up with your sleep. You really needed it, haina? Your eidi defo has been better than mine! Those miser relatives even ate the ice-crem and I didn't get any share of it!😡

The less said about those aunties the better. *shakes head* One of them toh even brought a Canada wale ladke ka rishta for me. As if him living in Canada makes him the most eligible guy. I hate how the aunties emphasizes on the guy living abroad. Like, I used to live in Canada too.....so what's the hype about?😕

Aunties disgust me. I am just 20, and I look much younger than my age, still those shameless, useless people do there tuchhe matchmaking giri with me. One of them had the guts to say to my mom to get my sister married soon otherwise she will have to settle for someone old since she is doing her masters now? WTH?!!!

Oooh....I love the songs of Guide. Lata is awesome! She is, hands down, the best singer ever!!!! Aaaj kal ke songs toh aate hai, jaate hain, but never clings to your heart like the old ones.

@Fivr....I read that you want to watch Dabaang? Same here!!!!!!!!!!!! I really enjoyed wanted. It was hilarious
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Guys I HAVE TO share this with ya - I just had a WUS kind of birthday *grins* . I didn't have a birthday cake this time so my two close friends decided on the spur and made this very special birthday cake with whole wheat bread , jam, strawberry crush and fruit for me and surprised me by bringing at 12 AM to cut - it was just so damn sweet of them! I cut the cake, we clicked crazy pics and had a blast!

@ Mels...Awww...I like to put on Mehndi. I lovee the smell of it....lol

Oh here toh it's the longer the better these days...even the shalwars are kinda loose pant style. The combo may not sound that great but it looks lovely! I really like the current trend...

Andd oooh the cheap aunties...One of them had guts to tell my mother to get me married off as I am getting 'old' and won't 'look' as 'good' I do now. Can you believe this?

Yes, I love Guide songs too and Lata! Youa re right about the latest songs. You like a song, listen it a lot of times and then you move on to another song...
