We have seen many of our TV actors performing on various events and award functions but this time all these TV actors exclusively come together for the The ITA and Colors to celebrate the Independence Day in an unique way giving due respect and appreciation to the unsung heroes. Few of the TV actors who would be performing in this event open up to GR8! with their views o freedom and how this freedom today is taken for granted.

It is a day to be proud for every Indian as on this day we got our independence and no longer any country ruling over us. I think we should treat our country as our home and once every Indian citizen starts doing this, all the problems will be solved automatically. As we take care of our home and don't dirty it, in the same way we should not dirty our country. It's not the job of the government or one particular person but its the responsibility of every Indian citizen.

Independence Day obviously signifies our freedom from the British rule but for me it also signifies the freedom of every individual. It gives you an opportunity to grow and explore the world. Until I was dependent on my parents, I never realized the big responsibility that comes along with my freedom. Today's generation doesn't realize the value of independence and just takes it as a celebration of freedom. I think a drastic step has to be taken by the schools and other institutions so that they can teach the newer generation the real meaning of independence.
