Es baat mein koi shak nahi hai ki Abhi ka HR 80's ka Anu Malik hai.Anu malik ko jo log criticise kar rahe hai , unlogo ko yeh bata dena jaroori hai ki Anu Malik ne bahut hi aacha aur hit music diya hai.In fact 90,s mein He was the most successful music directors.HR bhi aacha music de raha hai lekin industry bahut music directors aache aaye , par jayada din survive nahi kar paye.Competition itna jayada hai ki aacha music dene ki alawa jaroori aacha attitude. Aur en dino HR bahut hi arrogant ho gaya hai.Ek din to bol raha tha ki mere paas 25 filme hai.This is too much. Let see HR ka kya fate rahta hai.

There are stunning similarities between HR & Anu Malik.

Both of them use surprisingly similar rhythms & modes,
At times it is very difficult to say whose composition is this.(among them)
, if you don't believe me go to any site and listen to their songs one after another, it gets mixed up in brain.
Like AM, HR keeps changing his style of music and therfore doesn't leave any signature mark on songs( in plain terms it means using certain instruments in such a way that you always realise on listening to a song, who is the composer, like AR Rehman, JL do.
None of them have been trained in classical music.
HR picks up flot from Latin & Spanish music, just like AM (sorry inspiration!)
Both avoid Lataji &  Ashaji.
Both of tham have been vastly successful commercially and know how to change with time.
There is one strong difference, while AM has struggled a lot in 80s HR always had a smooth sail. Despite being unsuccesful initially,
 he kept getting movies.
My opinion only..... please don't lash out.

 

You are so correct in pointing out their similarities....

Both have foreign inspirations & probably this lack of originality makes their songs do not have a longlasting impact on our brains.You have very correctly said taht they do not have their signature marks in their music......you seem to be a knowledgeable person in music!

Both have been giving the people exactly what they want & have thus become so popular.As of struggle in his early years in the industry, I think HR is a shrewd & diplomatic person who is trying to make his ascent in the industry a smooth one by gaining contacts...What say you?

Sahi baat bataya aapne ki AM ne achha music diya hai kai filmon me .Aap lagta hai AM fan hain.HR ke shuruat ke din hain lekin mujhe lagta thha ki kafi diplomatic insaan hai.Haan, ye bolna bhare bazaar me ki mere paas 25 film hai abhi.........I think isko "hankna" kahenge aur "oversmart" bhi!

Aaj sabhi fields me bahut zyada competition hai..........kisi bhi field me naam kamane ke liye, apna pair jamane ke liye mehnat,patience aur definitely right "attitude" ki zarurat hai.

Yes, and time will say who will make it big......HR has to go a long way!!!

Anu Malik's journey:
1. Aapas Ki Baat starring actress Poonam Dhillon featuring the track Mohabbat rang layegi ahista ahista.
2.Ek Jaan Hain Hum starring Rajiv Kapoor and Divya Rana. movie included songs such as Dil dil hai koi sheesha to nahin.
3.The turning point in his career :Radha Ka Sangam.
It is said Anu gave his best with this score :songs such as Do bol kehke, Radha ka sangam and Bichuvaa.
4. Mahesh Bhatt's telefilm Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayi , it took him dizzying heights

Himesh is 100% better than Anu Malik. Himesh can actually sing, I was shocked when I read that he was the one who sang in Aashiq Banaya Aapne. Anu copies from other people's music and is not original at all, plus he is very rude to people, do you see the way he treats people in Indian Idol. Himesh gives people a chance, Anu doesn't!

It is true the way AM treats contestants in Indian Idol.............even HR's behaviour was outrageous when his contestant was challenged by AS.

Come on,...........success has got into their heads.......both of them.!!AM is an established music director today but HR has yet to make his hold solid in the industry.

And yes, HR is anyday a better singer than AM...........Very true!!
