Well truly its fun to make fun of someone else on account of the way they speak!!??
Really??Is it really funny?
Yes I am a South Indian.
I am proud of the fact I am one and also proud of the fact that I speak Hindi very well ...equally...or even better than a "Hindi speaking native" I also speak Tamil My mother tongue, Malayalam with due credit to my Malayalee friends..who BTW NEVER made fun of me when I was trying to learn the language. And as you may have figured out by now ..yes i also speak English well.
Now may i ask the host and the judge of Kitchen Champions.. can they speak Tamil ...even a sentence???
Give credit to the South Indian who can speak "YOUR" language and you can understand him!!
LEARN how to pronounce names correctly. After all it is your job as a host/judge to do some research and do you job ,for which you are paid.!!
The last episode had the dish BISI BELE HULI ANNA.
Does the judge even know what these words mean??What language it is in?? The correct method??
FIND OUT!!! Its why you are a judge!!
BTW the word HULI means TAMARIND.
Did you use it in the recipe??
Its very sad to see other communities /languages/ fellow human beings being made fun of on TV being watched by thousands.
Be careful..Dont hurt sentiments...takes you nowhere.. eventually will never be useful to anyone.

heyya i completely agree with you.my mother tongue is tamil too and i can talk both hindi and english as well as any of the hindi speaking natives.it really feels bad when people dont realise that we are first human beings and then we are indians.an indian making fun of another indian is completely not welcome.whether it is a north indian making fun of the south indians or vice versa.btw i ust wanted to point out to you that huli means sour in kannada and not tamrind.tamrind is called unchenoo in the same language.

obvious u have not read what i have written..... yes even if the show is in Gujrati the host has to learn how to pronounce the words of other languages correctly...

And im not hurt,,,,
Iam angry/upset.. I dont like it when any one is made fun of!!
Nobody shd be subject to ridicule!!
And FYI YES I can speak decenlty ,,, Few word/short sentences in Gujrati as well.
But thats hardly of any consequence is it?

U just as other Indians enjoy the masala dosa and fluffy idlis...or dont u??
I definitely enjoy the soft dhoklas.khandvi ,sweet dal and rotl for sure
I enjoy the different dishes from all over India and make an effort to find out how its made, how its pronounced and do try to make it.
If i were to stick to eating/cookin only :South Indian food: my life will be colorless and boring indeed

@akash_desai - India has no "National Language" - it has two official languages - Hindi and English. Official languages are purely for the communication between the state governments and the center. This means that each state government has to adopt either Hindi or English and all their correspondences with the center have to be in their chosen language. Having an official language does NOT mean that all the citizens must speak it. I suggest you read the consitution before you spread misinformation.
