Majorly cringeworthy... well I never liked Stepmom and this one looks even worse.
The confrontation scenes looks very ineffective, not as volatile as required.

I will be watching this movie only for Kajol. I kinda wish it didn't have Kajol...so I wouldn't have to sit through it. I was never a fan of the original Stepmom either.

Im not sure how I feel about the film so far, but its just a trailer, so I going to leave it there.

Personally I loved the original Stepmom, yeah even that was chessy and OTT in parts, but they got the balance between the characters and there emotions just right in most parts, and thats what made it so moving. If not anything else I hope that aspect is maintained in the remake, I have no doubt that Kajol and Kareena will pull it off.

What's with the chessy lyrics though 'Look us at, we are family', are Javed Saab or Gulzarji officially not taking up any BWprojects LOL, the writing needs to be really crisp and tight if this film is to leave any impact.
