They didn't show it directly, Mash....but body language speaks for a lot...there is plenty of room for interpretation and for this to be felt subtly cuz of the way we saw RB in yesterday's epi as well....anyways, I don't think anyone is taking the issue lightly so much as they are trying to do anything possible to make Suhana stay back....and if distracting her works, so be it....it's not like they are deliberately disrespecting her......RB is a very tortured character....I was disgusted with her uptill yesterday's epi but there is more to the Deepak issue than meets the eye maybe....RB is a big bipolar on this issue so I want to see how the rest of it unfolds.

Anyways, I also loved Ishaan's expressions in that bit....so adorable.

I'm not AS disgusted with her for treating her son that way than angry at her for SLAPPING Suhana....I watched that epi yesterday only...maybe that's the reason I'm still angry at her...It was soooooo insulting for Suhana...Even my sis says I'm taking the issue personally...She was like 'Us ne kiya tum ko thapar mara hai'..lol....bus mujhe toh ab RB achi hi nahin lagti...

Ohh the SLAP is a bigger deal to you?? :S LOL.....The slap toh I can understand...RB was progressively getting agitated day by day....so if we look at it from a character POV....she took out her frustration on Suhana who was the one person who she felt was forcing Deepak on to her....to me her behavior towards Deepak is what was more disgusting....what she did with Suhana was an off-shoot of that and yes it wasn't any fault of Suhana's but as a human reaction I could still understand...toh mujhe thappad ka itna gussa nahin hai....which is why I liked the RB-Suhana scene today.....a slap is not the end of the world....I would dwell on it more had no one in the family bothered talking to Suhana after that...but they were trying as much as they could manage in a very awkward situation.

Okay I just finished watching yesterdays and today's SGP. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The scene that most stood out for me was the scene between Ishaan and Suhana, as always -

LOVED Suhana's conversation with Ishaan. LOVED that her eyes were seeking justice and Ishaan's eyes were downcast with concern, helplessness and even shame. Every word of what Suhana said seemed to strike a chord with him. Yet, his helplessness and finally his guilt showed through when he tried to reassure her and she shirked back. Ishaan was not only rendered speechless, but also he received a proverbial slap by Suhana's gesture. Excellent acting by both Jai and Ragini.

Without sounding judgmental, I am still concerned about Ishaan's lack of support for Suhana and angry at RB.

Edit: Mash - To jump into the discussion, even I don't think they handled the RB-Suhana issue lightly. Everyone was trying to make Suhana stay in their own way. No one felt that she was wrong, a tad immature maybe, but not wrong. And RB HAD to do something to make Suhana stay back. So she played on Suhana's naivety. Maybe they didn't show her realization, but that was because maybe they wanted to create a surprise effect that it is RB finally who convinces Suhana to stay back.

I loved that scene yesterday too, LadyM....truly awesome acting by Jai-Ragini....I loved the shades to that scene......very well written and enacted.

As for RB....I'm not as angry at her today as I was two days ago....this Deepak issue is very murky....some of her actions disgust me a lot but then in some ways I felt sorry for her yesterday again after seeing her reaction to Deepak's letter.

LOLLL I forgot to mention the other cutest bit in today's last scene....once everyone realizes how Suhana the great tubelight is getting distracted and they talk about how a person gets blinded in anger....haha....in b/w Ishaan adds, 'kabhi kabhi toh ise itna gussa aata hai ki yeh bhul hi jaati hai ki KIS baat pe gussa thi" 🤣...and the way Suhana turns to give him a look there and he adjusts his glasses and moves away....LOLLLLL...hilarious!

Anu - I am angry with RB re: the Deepak issue, not the slap issue. Like you said, the Deepak issue is vvvvvverryyyyy murky and I have my strong opinions on the topic that I had posted in the forum few days back. And I agree, RB has a right to be skeptical about everyone and bitter about everything after what happened to her in ALL other matters, except treating Deepak like an unwanted child. It is a highly debatable point. But I felt sorry for RB's dilemma as well - she was genuinely shocked and even sad to see Deepak leave; and yet she wanted him to leave.

Anu - Yeah it was a cute scene. What impressed me more was Suhana agreeing to Ishaan's claims that he loves her and tells her so all day and night in front of Dadi. Suhana had WTF expressions on her face for a minute before admitting, and Ishaan smartly avoided meeting Suhana's eyes. 😆 Once again, excellent timing by both ...

I can't stop to admire Jai and Ragini as a couple thesed ays. At first I used to think that it is a very odd pairing. But these two have proved time and again that they have perfect sync and timing :-) It'll be interesting to watch when Suhana actually falls in love in with Ishaan ...

LOL that moment toh was the best, man....seriously Ishaan said it so adorably and the way Suhana turned to give him a look and then agreed as she realized why he said all that for Dadi's benefit😆....they do have very good timing....they play off each other quite well as actors and that is what makes their chemistry interesting....they are surely an odd pairing but a cute and interesting one in their own way....I don't even know how Suhana will behave when she falls in love with Ishaan😆....I guess there will be hints of the Zoobi Doobi song in there😆
