The two that stand out for me are when pcs charecter Meghna wakes up and looks up in in the mirror and relizes what she has become and then sobs her heart out hysterically for me that scene was won of the reasons why she has won the award for best actress and karishma in fiza after her mother dies she cries alone in an empty room and i wss impressed cause i knew karishma was a great actress but in this film she excelled herself and shwoed her full range as an actress

omg agree with u on pc one havent seen the lolo scene but eyah seen a sneak peak of it didnt knew her mother dies there..

i remember the salman aish one in HDDCS where he accuses god and she is like a statue..

In recent years, the one that instantly comes to mind is Karishma in Fiza. Oh and Soha in RDB too.Can't remember any other right now.

I'm the biggest fan of karishma since childhood and fiza is her best performance for sure. I agree with guys about that breakdown scene. I remember watching it, it broke my heart and I start crying over it. She made it so real that it touched my heart. Always going to be my favorite performance from karishma

yup hands down, Karishma in fiza...that was a fantastic movie and fanstastic performance.

Soha in RDB , i think i watched it once but need to watch it again...i remember looking for it on youtube other day..but couldnt ind it

In Rang de basanti, when waheeda receieves her dead son's belongings...well she doesnt really break down in the true sense of the word...but it appears as if she is will faint and the next minute she manages to compose herself a bit but the stoic facial expression that she struggles to maintain....awesome...so beautifully and subtly played by waheeda ji....

Heroes - Preity's scene with Salman's army uniform
that scene contained such quiet dignity mingled with pain that is so often missing on screen when she sobs out that she is proud to be his widow.no crying out loud could have evoked the heart wrenching emotions it did...
