Hey guys I am back with my one shot. Its not like my previous one shots but something different. Guys its not a sad ending one it's ending is happy but the whole shot revolves around nupur's feelings so it might bore u to some extent but don't stop reading once u start. So please do read my first attempt and comment.

It starts from mayur fight.

M: tumhari vajeh se meri scholarship chali gayi. Sirf tumhari vajah se. tumhe mujhe ye sab pehle hi bata dena chahiye.

Nupur is shattered by listening to mayank. She never expected him to talk like this. She thought that he will support her. He will be happy in fact he will be proud of her. But now the case is completely opposite. Instead of being happy he is angry on her for no reason, in fact the reason for which he is angry on her is created on his own. Nupur never told him that she is pregnant. But he himself assumed himself and behaving in such a strange manner. This time nupur did not argue with mayank instead she asked apology from him.

N: I am sorry mayank. Mujhe nahi pata tha ki main tumhari mann main itni badi galat faimi create kar rahi hoon. Mujhe sach main pata nahi tha ki meri vajeh se tumhari scholarship chali gayi. Mujhe maaf kar do mayank please forgive me.

On the other side mayank is shocked to hell by seeing this side of nupur. She never accepted her defeat even though fault is at her side. But today without even uttering a single word she directly asked for apology? Something is going to change. Definitely something is wrong. But mayank didn't have enough talent to guess that from now he is not going to get his old wife but from now he is going to witness a new nupur who is completely unaware of everybody. And this was it. He has to face it but he didn't knew what he is going to face. Nupur again spoke after a long pause.

N: mayank mujhe nahi lagtha ki tum abhi mujhse kuch bhi baat karne keliye tayaar ho. Tumhe thoda waqt chahiye. Is liye main gunjan ke paas jaa rahi hoon. Khana table par hai khaa lena. Kal subah main vahi se college chali jaongi aur shaam ko aajaungi.

Saying this she left without even throwing a glance at her husband. She went to gunjan and shared her in and out. Gunjan also shared everything about her and samrat. Both chatted for a long time and slept. But nupur is not getting sleep she got up and thought for a while and made a call to somebody.

N: hello, main nupur bhushan bol rahi hoon.

Officer: ji boliye aapki flight kal shaam 5 baje hai. Aap sidha airport aa jayiye.

N: nahi main aapko ye kehne ke liye phone kiya hai ki main nahi aa paongi. Vo kya haina mere ghar main mujhe utna door bhejhne ke liye koi accept nahi kar rahe hai.

O: kya? Ye aap last minute main kaise keh sakthe hai. Agar aap pehle hi bata diya tho hum kisi aur ko leke jaate the. Kisi aur ko chance miltha thana?

N: ji main uske liye maafi maangthi hu. Magar ab bhi time hai flight tho kal shaam ko haina so aap kisi aur ka interview le sakthe hai

O: 4 rounds ek din main nahi hoga. Its impossible.

N: ji 4 rounds nahi only 1 round. Aap ko yaad hai mayank Sharma naam ka ek ladka 3^rd round tak aaya tha but usne 4^th round diya nahi isliye usko disqualify kiya gaya. So kyu na aap usko is ek round interview kar ke use lele?

O: haan good idea. Anyway thanks for suggesting.

N: no problem sir. And thanks for apology.

She disconnected the phone and slept.

Here mayank is unable to sleep. He is unable to get what has happened in these two days. He sat on the bed and started thinking what has happened. Conversations between him and nupur flashed infront of his eyes. He remembered each and every scene in the past 2 days but he is still unable to decide who is at fault. Just then his hands fell on a book on the bed. He took and opened the cover of the book it written

Zindagi

Mera aur mera pati ka------

He understood that its nupur's dairy. He opened it and started reading it. Not from the first page but randomly.

Finally aaj mera bachpan ka sapna pura ho raha hai. Kal main auditions dungi aur mujhe pura yakeen hai ki main pakka select ho jaungi.

He turned the pages.

Mujhe nahi pata tha ki kismet mujhe phir se dokha degi. Bachpan se lekar aaj tak mere dil ke karib ka har cheez kismet ne mujhse chinliya aur aaj mera sapna. Actress banne ka sapna kismet ne mujhse chin liya. Bachpan main hi maine maa ka pyaar kho diya. Phir bauji kaam ke silsile main hame bui ke paas chodke dubai chale gaye. Phir padai ke chakkar main mujhe aur gunjan ko apna pyaara morena chodkar bui ko chodkar is bade shehar aana pada. Aur is shehar ne mujhse meri behan ko do baar chin ne ka khoshish ki. Magar hamara pyaar hame jhuda hone se rok diya. Phir pyaar, mujhe nahi pata tha ki main mayank jaise ladke se pyaar karungi but hogaya. Kismet ne phirse ek baar mujhse mera pyaar mera mayank chin ne ka khoshish kiya. Par pata nahi mujhe mera pyaar kaise mil gaya. Mujhe laga mera kismet badal chukka hai magar meri shaadi ke baad pata chala ki badal tho zaroor chukka hai magar achi tarah se nahi balki bohut buri tarah se. jabse maine mayank se shaadi ki hai maine usko khushi ke bina sab kuch diya hai. Apmaan, tension, apni maa se alag kiya, stress, money problems sab kuch'. Maine use sirf pyaar diya bas aur kuch nahi de paayi aur ab phir se kismet ne mujhse mera sapna chin liya. Magar main apni behen ke liye bohut khush hu. Mana ki main apne liye bohut dhukhi hu magar us se zyaada khush apne behen ke liye hoon.

At this point of time mayank has tears in his eyes. Now he got to know how much pain she would have gone through when her dreams shattered. But she never showed anything on her face. He again turned the pages.

Pata nahi maine aise kya bol diya hai jiski vajeh se mayank pura raat ghar nahi aaya hai. Maine uske liye pooja karke aarthi chadayi thi aur maine ek din upvaas bhi kiya. Mujhe khud pe vishwaas hi nahi ho raha hai. Maine aaj tak kisi bhi tyohaar par upvaas nahi rakha hai magar pyaar insaan ko badal deta hai aur main koi exception nahi hu. Jab mayank subah ghar vaapas aaya tho maine chupke se shirt nikalne ki bahaane main uske pauv pakad liya aur aashirvaad le liya. Mujhe bohut acha laga by god.

Aaj main bohut khush hoon. Mujhe phir se ek aur chance mila hai apne aap ko saabith karne ka. Mujhe mayank ka saath dene ka mauka mila hai aur main ise gawana nahi chahthi. Main mayank ko surprise dungi. Vo bohut khush hoga. Actually mujhpe proud feel karega. Mujhe pata hai mera mayank hamesha mera saath dega aur main uska saath dungi.

He now got angry on himself for behaving with her like that. But still he wanted to read further so he flipped the pages.

Mujhe scholar ship milgayi aur aaj main mayank ko surprise dungi. Pata nahi vo subha se kahi dikh nahi raha hai. Kuch tho baath use bohut pareshaan kar rahi hai magar vo mujhe kuch bata nahi raha hai. Vo pichle ek hafte se bohut pareshaan lag raha hai. Usi pareshaani mein usne ek pura raat ghar bhi nahi aaya. Pata nahi kya baath hai jo mayank mujhse share nahi karna chahtha hai. Magar aaj main use ye khushkhabri suna kar uski saari pareshaaniyan door kar dungi.

Now he got to know that he was at fault. He concluded all right things in wrong way. He is feeling guilty now. He don't know how to console nupur and how to make her believe that his intentions were not to hurt her. Thinking all this he slept.

He woke up with a call in the early morning.

M: hello'''

O: Mr. Mayank Sharma?

M: yes speaking.

O: ji main scholar ship office se baath kar raha hu. Actually selected candidates main se ek cand drop hogayi so we thought of giving u a chance. So could u please come and give your unfinished round so that u may get a chance of getting this scholarship.

M: yes sir. It would be my pleasure. I will come within an hour.

He got up and freshened and directly went to scholarship office. He thought of giving surprise to nupur and at the same time he thought of asking apology.

He gave his 4^th round and got selected and asked to come to airport at 5:00 in the evening.

He then directly went to college but he did not get nupur any where and when he asked somebody they said that she is in the class. When he listened that he was shocked and to confirm that he went near the class and found nupur in the class and seriously concentrating on lecture. He thought not to disturb her and went to canteen and shared his happiness with the gang. He went to library and passed his time and at lunch time he came out and went in search of nupur but she was no where. He tried her phone but it is switched off. He finally asked gunjan that where she is.

G: di ne bola ki uska sardard ho raha hai tho vo chali gayi.

He started going home without wasting a single minute but when he reached home she is not there. He waited for her till 4:15 but she didn't came. He thought if she comes she directly comes to airport. So he went to airport.

Nupur is in beach sitting on sand and thinking about her and her life. She did not know when time passed by. When she looked at her watch it was already 4:50. She thought mayank would have boarded flight till now. She knew that mayank will definitely select for ss.

Mayank asked the scholarship officer about nupur then he said that nupur is the one who dropped and because of her he got the chance of getting scholarship.

Now mayank understood the whole thing. Nupur sacrificed her future for mayank and he blamed her for ruining his future.

He boarded the flight and reached delhi. Nupur also reached home now.

Next day morning before going to class mayank tried to call nupur but all in vain. She did not lift the call not because she don't want to talk its because she is very tired and did not wake up till now. He went to class with disappointment.

Here nupur got up and checked the miss call of mayank but she too did not called him because at that time he would have been in the class and thought not to disturb him.

She went to college and attended each and every class and concentrated on each and every lecture. Lecturers gave some assignments and asked them to finish in 1 week. So, after all classes without wasting a single minute she went to library and started working on the assignments. Now its time to close the library but still her work is unfinished so she issued some books and started going home. While going she met gunjan.

G: dii tum subah se kaha chali gayi thi?

N: kuch nahi bas thoda kaam tha tho library main beti thi. Mera sar bohut dard kar raha hai. Main abhi ghar ko jaa rahi hu.

G: tike dii bye.

She left home and without even having anything she again started doing her assignments and in between her phone rings.

N: hello

G: dii ab tumhari tabiyat kaise hai? Main aao kya?

N: arey nahi gunjan main bilkul tikh hu. Tu chinta mat kar

G: tikhe aur kya?

They spoke with each other for sometime and disconnected the call.

Nupur again started doing her work without even thinking about her surroundings. She is doing her work as if she is appearing for some MBA final examinations.

Again her phone rang. Without even looking at the phone she lifted it.

N: haan gunjan bol phir kya hogaya?

Caller:

She became tensed now.

N: gunjan bol kya baath hai? Tu bol kyun nahi rahi hai?

Caller:

N: Maine bola na ki meri tabiyat abhi tikh hai. Tu please chinta mat kar.

Caller: Mayank………..

N: mayank? After a small pause….. vo maine socha tha ki gunjan hai I am sorry. Bolo tumhare classes kaise hai?

M: konsi classes nupur?

N: arey aur konsi? Tumhari scholarship ki classes.

M: tumhe kaise pata ki main scholarship ke liye gaya hu? Maine kisi ko bataya nahi aur nahi tumhe. To tumhe kaise pata?

N: vo mujhe kal ek call aaya tha scholarship office se, unlogone ye bola ki mere jagah kisi aur ko le liye he. Aur jab main ghar pohunchi tho tum nahi the aur tumhare kapde bhi nahi tho mujhe pata chal gaya ki vo kisi aur nahi balki tum hi ho…

M: kyun vo koi aur bhi ho saktha hai na…..

N: with a small smile on her lips kyunki tum nupur bhushan nahi balki mayank sharma ho aur mayank Sharma ek hi galti bar baar nahi kartha hai.

M: agar jhoot bolna nahi aati tho bolti kyun ho?

N: main koi jooth nahi bol rahi hu mayank.

M: tikhe agar tumhe batane ka iraada nahi hai tho tikhe mat batao. Jab tumhe bolne ka man kartha hai tabhi bolna

There was a silence on both sides for a long time.

N: mayank mujhe thoda kaam hai main tumse baad main baath karthi hu.

M: tikhe bye

N: bye.

Mayank is unable to know what's going in her mind. Why is she behaving like that? First of all she sacrificed her future for him and now she is not even ready to take the credit for what she has done. This one week is not less than hell for mayank. When he calls her she just answers to the questions asked by him. She is not sharing anything with him. The nupur who used to talk not less than 30min in phone is now completing the conversation and disconnecting the call only in 3minutes. This was the 8^th wonder for everyone. God knows what has happened to her? In these 7 days she was the invisible creature in the super cool gang of excel. Now today is the 7^th day and today mayank returns from delhi.

Mayank came to home and as because its afternoon nupur will be in college. While coming in way he thought of going to hotel and have his lunch because it will be quite late when he reaches home and now he is no mood to prepare lunch and eat it. But he again thought he would first go to home and after freshening up he will order something to home. So he went and sat on the couch and he extended his hand to draw newspaper which is on the table but there was a small chit which is placed on the table.

It reads.--------

Welcome back. How was your journey? I hope its good.

He answered to the chit.

"ya it was fine but not good and not that much bad also"

He reached fridge to have some cool water and on the fridge door he again found one more chit

First get freshen up and then have water. You will feel much better.

He obeyed and went to washroom and when he came back to his room he found his clothes already ironed and placed on the bed. With a smile on his face he took the clothes and wore. He now drank enough water and went near dining table to find something to eat.

There he found another chit.

First check out all bowls and then have your food of your own choice.

He did as per order and had his lunch and went to his room for relaxing. There he saw a pile of books which were issued from library and he saw four assignments which were fully completed and one more yet to complete. Now without even wasting a minute he paved his way to college to meet his love.

When he went to college she is busy in attending each and every lecture and now its time for the last lecture. He thought of attending it so he went inside the class only to see nupur fully engrossed in her work and her bag is her side by as if she is reserving the seat for some one. She saw him and gave a faint smile and he did the same. But in order to see her reaction he sat besides his friend but not beside her. She was shocked but she controlled herself not to let her emotions out. One of her friend came and asked her whether the seat is reserved for anybody else or not. And in reply she said that its for nobody and anybody can sit. This pierced mayank's heart. He never expected this from her. After the class every body went from the class but she is doing something without even moving an inch from her place. Mayank came to her and asked

M: nupur ab class khatham hogayi na canteen chale? Sab log hamara wait kar rahe hai.

N: nahi mayank tum chalo mujhe library main thoda kaam hai. Vo kya hai na kuch books return karna hai. So you carry on.

M: return karne ke baad tho aa sakthi haina?

N: vo.. she was about to say something but again thought if she again rejects he might think that she is over acting. So she said. Haan aa jaungi. Tum jao.

M: tikhe.

He went to canteen and talking to the gang. He is desperately waiting for nupur but she is no where seen.

S: mayank kisi ka wait kar rahe ho kya?

M: haan. Vo nupur ne kaha ki vo 5min main canteen aayegi aur abhi tak nahi aayi.

U: vo nahi aayegi.

M: what? Kyun nahi aayegi?

B: arey tumhari biwi pichle ek hafte me itna badal gayi hai ki hum sab usme purana mayank ko dekh rahe hai.

M: matlab?

B: tum 2 saal pehle kaise the? Kitna serious fully focused the tum. sirf library ya class main dikhthe the aur kisi se baath tak nahi karthe the. Ab nupur exactly aise hi ban gayi hai. Sirf din main do baar dikhthi hai subah hai bolthi hai aur jaate waqt bye aur kabh kabhi vo bhi nahi bolthi hai.

M: main nahi maantha hu. Nupur aisa kabhi bhi nahi ban sakthi hai.

Just then benji saw nupur going from corridor

B: tho tikhe main tumhe abhi prove kar deta hu ki nupur badal gayi hai.

He stood up and started moving towards nupur while she is struggling to handle the books which are there in her hands. He went and bumped into her and stood there without uttering a word. She did not see the person but just said sorry, knelt down to pick her books and after taking all the books she went away without even looking at the person. This made mayank shock. Benji came and sat with them.

B: dekha? Maine kaha tha na ki vo abhi purana nupur nahi hai.

Benji is right. She is not the old nupur whom he knew. That nupur never leaves the person for doing such thing even if the fault is at her side. But this nupur said sorry even she is not at fault. Gunjan spoke breaking his thoughts.

G: 15 saal

Every body focused on what gunjan is saying

She again continued.

G: 15 saal hogaya hai dii ko aise dekh ke. Mujhe nahi laga ki main phir se vo nupur ko dekhungi jise maine 15 saal pehlel dekha tha.

M: matlab?

G: tumhe pata hai jiju di pehle kitna strict rehthi thi har kaam kitna organized rehtha tha. Mujhe maa ki shakal tak yaad nahi hai. Bachpan se lekar aaj tak dii hi meri maa bani hai. Bauji tho kaam ke silsiley main dubai chale gaye the. Tab sab kuch hum dono ko hi karna padtha tha. Tab dii badal gayi hai. Vo har jagah meri khyaal rakhthi thi. Mujhe har choti musibat se bachathi thi. Use khush karne vala koi nahi tha. Vo hi sab ko khush karthi thi but use console karne vala koi nahi tha. Iski vajeh se us choti umar main hi use saari khushi us se door gayi hai. Tab se usne har choti cheez main khushiyan dhoondna shuru kiya. Vo apne aap ko khush rakne ki khoshish karthi thi. Aur ab pata nahi kya hogaya hai dii phir se badal gayi hai. Phir se vo nupur bhushan ban gayi jisko kisi ki bhi parwaa nahi hai…………khud ka bhi………….

Saying this she went from there with tears in her eyes. Mayank did not knew how to react. He closed his eyes. His own words echoed in his ears.

Mujhe abhi baap nahi banna hai nupur………. Tumhari vajeh se meri scholarship chali gayi………tumhari vajeh se aaj main haar gaya….mayank Sharma haar gaya………..har baar kuch na kuch galat karke baitthi ho……..tum sirf apne baare main sochthi ho……doosro ke baare main tumhe tho tumhe parwaa hi nahi hai……..tumhari is pregnant hone ke chakkar se maine aakhri round attend hi nahi kiya hai………pata nahi ab aur kitna baaki hai…….pata nahi ab aur kitna khona padtha hai……..kitna focused tha main?..... is pyaar vyaar shaadi ke chakkar main maine apne goal par focus kho diya hai………

All these words were now piercing his own heart. For the first time in his life his own words are responsible for his pain and his love's pain.

He is unable to understand how to get back his nupur back. Days are passing by but there is no change in nupur's behavior. She is doing each and every job of a wife. Cooking food, washing dishes, clothes, ironing them, everything. She is doing everything which should be done by a wife except one thing. That is spending time with her husband, sharing her feelings with him. She is not able to do that.

She is preparing lunch in the kitchen and to get something she climbed the stool and suddenly she lost the grip and started falling but how can her husband let her fall? He came running and caught her in his strong arms. When she opened her eyes she was in his arms.

N: thanks.

M: vah kya baath hai. Tho aajkal tum mujhe thanks bolna bhi shuru kar diya……great…..

N: mayank aisa kuch nahi hai. Tum bekar ki bathe sochna band karo aur chalo khana tayar hai lagathi hu…

He silently obeyed her and moved towards dining table. They were eating silently. Mayank broke the silence.

M: nupur I am sorry. Maine us din jo kuch bhi kaha vo main jaan booch ke nahi kaha bus gusse main keh diya. I am really sorry nupur

N: gusse mein kaha isliye sach kaha.

M: nupur main sorry bol raha hu na ab tho maaf kar do

N: mayank maaf karne ke liye main tumse naaraz nahi hu. In fact main khush hu. Us din tumne jo kuch bhi kaha sach kaha aur us sach ki vajeh se mujhe apne baare main pata laga aur mujhe apne life ke liye ek goal set karne ke liye majboor kiya. Tum sach keh rahe the mayank main bekaar ki bathe karthi rehthi hu. Aur sach batau tho uski vajeh se hi tumne apna scholarship mauka kho diya tha.

M: aur tumne apni galthi ki sazaa samajhkar apni scholarship mujhe de di haina?

N:

M: ab bhi kyun chupa rahi ho nupur?

N: haan mayank maine tumhare liye apni scholarship chod dim agar uske liye mere paas reason hai.

M: aur vo kya hai?

N: bachpan se lekar aaj tak maine apni zindagi main bohut kuch khoya hai ab aur khona nahi chahthi. Main jis se pyaar karthi hu vo sablog mujhe chodkar chale jaate hai aur isbaar main tumhe khona nahi chahthi mayank. Isliye maine aisa kiya hai. Main jaanthi hu jab apne sapne apne maksad tutne se kitna dard hota hai aur vo dard main tumhare aankhon main dekhna nahi chahthi hu. Ye scholarship mera sapna nahi hai balki tumhari hai. Main tho bas tumhe khush karne ke liye tumhe surprise karne ke liye tumhaara saath dene ke liye apply kiya tha. Magar ye tumhara goal tak pohunchne ka pehla kadam hai aur mere vajeh se tumhe vo khona nahi chahiye.
