Atlast got out of the confusion and shock state. My annoyance was: If someone asks you if you had a bath out of the blue you can get confused but that doesn't last for ever. 😕. She didn't hesitate to ask to go to her parents for the pooja a second time, but she couldn't answer a simple question, what? This was Ta-curse chance to score one for refusing to change her name. He still calls her Krishnabo, Amma calls her Maidamji, Sakthi never talks to her (he hid when he sees her talking to Kesar) 😲 and Krishna doesn't want to even see her...it's gone from Laundiya nahi, hamari Pratigyaji to Pratigya to ye soon leo....... to silence .........talk about rapid degradation. Now that Kisna and she are on the outs how about showing the gutsy side of Pratigya and not the scaredy cat version who can't speak up when ask simple questions.

. She said "ek din ki tho bath hai". But SS refused to send her to her mayki for the pooja. She even went so far as to say if you guys don't want to go to my parents for the pooja at least send me, it's just for a day. Are you kidding me, SUCK-Senas need to learn some manners. They invite the daughter but not the samandhs to the pooja. It's a pooja for God's sake. SS pulled rank as usual

Well his reaction was to the way showed disrespect to his family by not inviting his family for the Pooja. If Porfessar Sahab act was just in fighting for his families pride by giving money back to SS so was he. We all love her Pride and Ta- Curse have a little more than other caste people.

I am starting to wonder if the Suck-senas even realise how rude and short on manners they really are. It's not like they are asking Pratigya to come home bec' of a private family matter. It's a pooja for God's sake, doesn't one invite friends and extended family to these events esp. if they lived locally? Ta-curse pride scores one here. What subject does Professor teach at the University? Just curious, probably not sociology or psychology.

Suck-senas are sitting around the table looking depressed all over again while Komal is taking a few digs at them and trying to recover. Dadi is refusing to eat. Gosh, watching Suck-senas today really sucked.

Prats didn't give up and tried again with Amma who blasted her and SS stepped in and asked her to start understanding what he says goes in the house. Amma even tells her to stop the crying and get to the tasks.

I have to give it to Prats for atleast not giving up easily. Finally she was trying to show some courage and starting to stand up for herself. She did stand up for herself when she told off Krishna. But we all know it is easy to tell off the person who loves you (Krishna) than someone who doesn't actually care abt your existence (SS) or someone who hates you (Amma and Shakti). Real courage is when you fight the unknown.

Bingo! How are we to believe she is standing up for all women when she can't even speak up for herself about the little things on a daily basis. When Komal accused her of "dhakka mara" she stood there shaking her head. Why not tell them, I didn't. It's one thing to respect her inlaws but she should speak up when her inlaws insult her or her family. She is behaving like Kesar instead. This is the first time she gave it a second shot and asked anyways.. She actually spoke out after doing her "mouna vratha" for a few days there. 😲She still doesn't understand her saursal though. Why does she behave like she is not the brightest bulb in the room.when she is around them? What ever gave her the idea that Amma would support her? Amma already knew Komal didn't want Pratigya to show up. Pearl Grey set it up beautifully when SS intervened a convo. between Amma and Baba and said that a girl has to stay at her inlaws with her husband and that's when she will be happy. He reiterated that to Pratigya once again today. At least he is consistent about his kayada kanoons.😊

Krishna ki mahima ab is ladki ko samajna padega. Will she ask him again when he returns home? What will Krishna say? Nice twist. The tables have been turned on her now.

(I think thats what Pearl Grey doesn't want to loose her viewers. And she knew she wld loose them if she continued with apna Baba's antiques and Prats Burfilli Aankhen. It was getting monotonouos and predictable. Hence the twist.

Jokes apart I have a feeling the CV will show that most of the time stay out of the house and wld bi unaware of whats happening at home? It is quite dificult situation for Krish to be aware of the ongoins at home. If come to know he will either have to take a stand or ignore it. If he supports Prats might think he is again back with his antiques trying to impress her Krish will again look like a puppy) and If he doesn't then his loyal viewers will doubt his luv for Prats. So it is a Catch 22 situation. The CV are safe by keeping him out of the house when such things happen.

How would supporting her be an antic, after all a husband is supporting to stand by his wife. I can understand when he does childish things, but when he defended her at the havan and helped in the kitchen they were not his usual pranks of trying to impress her. She can start to at least appreciate the little gestures.

I liked that Krishna told her not to do all those little things which are meaningless if she won't talk to him and keep rejecting him. Ta-curse ka pride hai na?

Krishna is busy looking for Angad and next week they come face to face. Angad says he likesArushi, so why can't he marry her? Getting veeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy interesting.

Finally, Prats gets a sample of life without Krishna stepping in to save the day for her.

She really needs to work on showing the right emotions in her expressions if we are to understand how she feels. Where is her acting coach by the way?😕

First, Krishna didn't give her a chance to visit her parents after their return from the hollimoon.
Second, SS refuses to send Prats to Pooja - tells Prof. come here and we will do the pooja at the Niwas and you don't have to worry about the expenses. Another zinger!

That was SS's comeback for insulting his family. Reality is if you fling insults at some one be prepared that someone will flinf insults back at u. So if you enjoy inflicting insults have the balls to take one when it comes your way. Thats exactly what happened to the General of the Suck- sena Family aka Porfesar (as Shakti wld say).

The Suck-sena and Ta-curse siblings are handling their marriages poorly and the sambandhs are heading for tit-for-tat. Arey, yaar, grow up please! Oh I forgot, this is a TV drama, achcha chalo drama karo thab tho show interesting rahega.😃

Is this the beginning of a different kind of nightmare for Prats without Krishna's support? I guess sometimes when you don't value what you have, it takes the fear of losing it to wake one up to what matters most.

She is still mad at Krishna so I doubt she will go to him. Will she sulk and try to play a guilt trip on him? He may get back to his old schedule of staying out late. Amma is going to start poking at Prats if Baba avoids eating at home and such.

Krishna after talking to Angad goes to see Prof. Saheb. He walks in on the family esp. Dadi singing the woes about not having Prats over for the pooja. He comes home and takes Prats to the pooja. He will probably tell SS "isme ka dikkat hai, pooja ke liye hi jathi hai na" much to the annoyance of Amma and SS being overridden by their Baba once again. At least this way they can't blame Prats for tellings Krishna about the pooja. This would be a score in Krishna's column but not knowing how Prats really feels (based on her expressions) she may hang him out to dry yet again. Is patthar ka dhil kab badalega!

OR

Krishna comes home very late, is his usual self amidst the family, then ignores Prats and hits the sack. She may want to (a long shot) bring up about the pooja and make him feel guilty yet again for bringing her into this family but whether Krishna gives her a chance is the million dollar question. If he does he may either allow her to go and tell his parents so (extended trouble with sasural for Prats at that point) or tell her to follow his family kayada kanoon and leave it at that. Either way Prats we may see a little chick in her armor or feel angry and continue to hate him.

OR

Krishna comes home late, doesn't hear about it, Prats lets it go, is angry and upset but doesn't bring it up again. But Krishna finds out about it later when other issues crop up.


The first scenario is better all round. Let's see what happens. Any other possibilities, please post.😕

Seriuosly, today I was like ab pata chala.. without Krishna tu pRatx ki daal nai galey gii.. Krishna's mom is sucha patakha..😛 nd they have shown her soo weak.. she cries at little things nd then, they say pratigya ne thaan lee hai.. it doesnt suit her to cry over small things.. nd why the hell she takes ages to reply to something.. that gives them a chance to insult her even more.. She shud have some strong dialogues..

2) All of you have mentioned that Prats shld be more strong and I also want to see such a change. What I am wondering about is:

Pratigya cldn't make Krishna understand where he went wrong in marrying her and explain to him her reasons for hatered who luvs her like mad. How in the hell is she going to make everyone in that mad house see her point of view who have no regards for her.

I mean logic and reasoning doesn't work with them, being an ideal bahu doesn't (look at Kesar's conditions), lecturing them wldn't(works in other dramas) as they wld just shout back at her, winning them with luv is not possible as their intensity of hatred towards is much the same as hers towards Baba. The only way i can think of is thro Krish but she has already burnt her bridges with him. Her expressionless looks won't help. Begging them doesn't work.

Yes protecting Kesar's child will warm SS's heart towards her. But I wonder if that warmth will be strong enough that he agrees with her and supports her when she opposes his ideology

At the moment it may seem like she has burnt her bridges. She could turn her argument - if you loved me you would think of me too instead of yourself back on him and try to send him on a guilt trip. (Itna Dimaag Hota To Gum Kya Tha. Itni Moosibat Main Thode Hi Hooti)

Unless Krishna let's his anger at her rejections subside a little and let's his love surfaces again, I don't see him taking that guilt trip. Krishna's way is his own. He thinks outside the box unlike his family and the Suck-senas.


Up to this point in the show, Prats has shown moments of courage few and far between. How does she fight for the rights of women when she is also seen nervously shaking her head, unable to speak up and constantly turning on the waterworks and looking helpless for most part Yesterday was the first time we saw her ask to go home to her parents a second time, a gutsy move after SS explained to her the kayada kanoon of the Ta-curse household. If we are to believe she is indeed a strong person, then let's not see her giving cold glares and expressions that the audience finds hard to interpret. 🤣🤣

My impression of Krishna's character when I first started watching Pratigya is the way Arhaan described him in an interview on another thread on this forum posted this week. His character reminds me of a few Rajnikanth movies I have seen......rough exterior (kind of goonish) but a man with a heart of gold whose motives and actions are not understood by the people around him, doing what he thinks is right with a Tunna/Chandu variety of friends to hang out with. This type of character was always a huge draw with audiences (including the Krishna Krishna Krishna kind of bg music) and so is Krishna.

I think thats what makes all of us love him because we all are shown that his intentions behind all his actions are good unfortunately his methods are of a caveman.
