This thread is inspired by Prabha's CID Case List thread. I thought the spin-off deserved its own thread for case list and trivia. I know not many of the current active members really like this show but please let's be civil. It had its problems yes but let's refrain from mocking the show outright. This show had a lot of fans. I remember browsing this forum back in 2005/early 2006 though I hadn't joined I-F then. I saw lots of fans who loved CID SB. Keep in mind that CID itself has seen some dark days in the recent past. As a spin-off based on the idea of cold case investigations, it had potential but I feel they lost their way at some point. Still it wasn't all bad and no matter what, it's part of the CID franchise. We can at least appreciate the effort they put into it. 😊

CID SB Chronology
Initially each case was spread across two episodes, just like CID. There were 3 exceptions that I am aware of: Bone Marrow (6 parts), Mystery of the Black Hole (6 parts) and Mystery of the Smiling Cat (4 parts). After it became a daily (4 days a week, Mon-Thu) each case was spread across 4 episodes.
There was a total of 168 episodes according to Sony. The running time of an episode was ~20-22 minutes.
I don't have the titles of Case Nos 4, 7 and 8 but written updates are available here, here and here.
My list is missing 6 episodes from Mar 28, 2005 to Apr 12, 2005 inclusive. At that time CID SB was still a bi-weekly show with 2-part cases. There were a few exceptions like Bone Marrow but in absence of more information I am going to assume that these 6 episodes represent 3 cases.
