Karam Apnaa Apnaa is the story of Gauri, and what destiny holds in store for her forms the crux of the story.
Shashank- Gauri: Mahen Kapoor gets the proposal of Shashank Bose for Gauri, they get engaged and are about to get married. They showed a real beautiful relationship between Shashank and Gauri.
Gauri's wedding: On the day of Gauri's marriage, she is shocked to see Shiv Kapoor in the mandap, and is scattered when she realizes that Shashank refused to marry her ; she runs away from the mandap towards Shashanks house, however in vain. That's when she meets Anupam, who advises her to face the problems instead of running away from it. She returns back to the mandap, much to Shiv's anger.
Shiv-Gauri :get married, and Shiv welcomes Gauri by, "welcome to hell!"; however how could he resist the charm and innocence of Gauri, his hatred got converted into friendship and eventually respect.
Mishaps: After the marriage ,a series of mishaps happen to Gauri, everyone thinks it to be an accident, however the truth was something else.
Shiv's Kundali: it is revealed that Shiv-Gauri wedding was planned by Nikhila, as Shiv's kundali had a major dosh,'that his first wife would die soon after the wedding'. Everyone advises gauri to leave Shiv, but she refuses as she is in love with Shiv.
Shiv's guilt: Gauri's love turns to be a major matter of guilt for Shiv, as he knows that he is cheating her..for whom? His childhood ladylove Ipshita..the main reason he agrees to marry Gauri was Ipshita..however fate had different plans in store for Shiv..
Guruji's notice: Guruji advises Nikhila that Shivs wife would die on the 31st of Jan..that's when she convinces Ipshita to get engaged with Anupam, as no one will doubt them.
Gauri's accident: She meets with a major accident, however she survives..now Ipshita turns insecure and pressurizes Shiv to divorce Gauri and tell her the truth of their relation. Shiv is unable to do so, as he realizes that Gauri is pregnant.
Anupam-Ipshita's wedding: Ipshita gets married to Anupam, when she realized that Shiv would not leave Gauri.
5 years leap: Shiv-Gauri are proud parents of twins-Om& Priom and their sweetheart daughter Shanti. Shiv believes he is happy, but still remembers Ipshita. Ipshita is now a writer and has divorced Anupam. Gauri a doted mother, who doesn't have time for Shiv..
Nikhila's trap: Nikhila wants Ipshita back in Shiv's life- reason being property. She meets Samar, who is her twin son, who was kidnapped by their ex-employee during his birth...She plots Samar as Shiv, he misbehaves with Gauri and the kids and is successful in signing the property documents from her.Ipshita along with Maya join hands with Nikhila.
Gauri's Vengance: Gauri is shocked to know that Nikhila is planning to separate her from Shiv, however she is unaware of Ipshita's motive, she takes advantage of Shiv. Gauri promises vengeance, and is successful in exposing Nikhila's evil motive. Nikhila is thrown out of Kapoor Mansion.
Ipshita Plan: Nikhila,Ipshita and Maya along with the help of Samar and doctors, fake a report that Gauri is suffering from Brain tumor. Gauri is shocked. Meanwhile Gauri gets to know the truth of Shiv-Ipshita relation and that Ipshita is pregnant.
Shiv-Ipshita wedding: Thinking that she's going to die, Gauri forces Shiv to get married to Ipshita. On the day of the wedding,she realizes that she has been trapped, again promises to throw Ipshita out of Shiv's life.Samar helps her in this.
Ipshita's truth revealed: Shiv gets to know about Ipshita's reality and I have lost count of the slaps he gave her. She was also out of Kapoor mansion. But Nikhila is a changed woman now, she re-enters her house.
Shashank's re-entry: They show the re-entry of Shashank, along with Moksh and Asim, who are Mahens elder brothers son's and the evil mamaji. Samar is madly in love with Kaya, however Shashank cunningly fools Samar and gets married to Kaya..but that was not his motive..
Shiv's Death: Shashank wanted to take revenge from Shiv, he wanted the property of the Kapoor's, hence they plot a plan to kill Shiv and they take the help of Ayush uncle, Shiv was brutually murdered... Gauri was kept in dark, but broke down when the truth was revealed, afterall Shiv was her life.
Ill-treatment of Gauri: Shashank, Moksh,Asim and Mamaji continued to harass and trouble Gauri, her only support being Samar.
Shiv's ghost: Well, yes, Samar came face-to-face with Shiv's ghost and he gets to know the truth of Shiv's death, he along with Gauri punish the evils in the court of law, but Shashank escapes....Shiv's ghost also goes after this...
Samar-Gauri: Family members start pressuring Samar to get married to Gauri, however they refuse, some people misinterpret their relation...
Nikhila's death: Shashank starts blackmailing Gauri for the property, and she is about to reveal the truth to Nikhila, however a turn of events, Nikhila is murdered. Samar thinks Gauri murdered her and vice versa..Gauri runs away and is shown to be dead...
Another 5 year leap: Samar is shown to be a shrewd business man, and Gauri has lost consciousness, now she is known as Shivangi. Samar wants to kill Gauri.
Nisha's entry: Nisha, Anupams stepsis, enters to take revenge with the Kapoor family, Anupam is now paralyzed as Ipshita tried to kill him. Nisha enters as Gauri and falsely accuses Samar of rape. Family pressurize Samar to marry her, he agrees.
Samar-Gauri marriage: Gauri regains her memory, and decides to expose Samar, however she is aware of Nisha's intentions, so on the day of the marriage Nisha is kidnapped and she sits in the mandap. Samar is furious when he knows that he got married to the woman he hates the most. They have real cute catfights after that.
Anupam gets normal: Samar's attempt to kill Gauri, n Anupams attempt to save her, results in him getting cured...now he can walk perfectly..well BT doctors can do miracles you see..Anupam gets to know the truth from Nisha that it was someone else who killed Nikhila. And when Samar n Gauri get to know about this, they are shocked.
Maya's truth: It is later revealed that Maya had actually killed Nikhila for the property..and she is sent to jail.
Sauri Love: Samar an Gauri, work out their marriage and their love blossoms.
Prateeks entry: Gauri's childhood friend , he is a doctor, and he reveals to Sam that he is suffering from tumor(yeah yet again)..Samar doesn't want to see Gauri as a widow...so he wants Prateek to marry her. Gauri gets to know about Sam's illness and he gets admitted and Eureka, his tumor is cured....Kudos Dr Prateek!!!
Sauri in Kolkatta(mini leap) : Vivaan and Dhruv throw Sauri out of Kapoor house, due to which they migrate to Kolkatta. They lead a happy and simple life, till the entry of Kamya.
Kamya: She falls in love with Samar and a lot of drama follows, after which Gauri decides to tame the shrew...however Kamya and her mother poison Samar's mind and he is made to belive that Gauri n Prateek are in a relation and that she is carrying Prateeks child...drama..tears and drama..
Sauri separate: Gauri decides to separate from Samar, when she realizes that he doesn't trust her and love her anymore..however Kamya's truth is exposed and wow the way Samar beat Kamya and her mom....worth a watch..Meanwhile Gauri delivers a baby girl and slips into coma..however she recovers back..
Sauri back in Mumbai: all the misunderstanding gets cleared and they are back in Mumbai..and Prateek gets married to Aarti..however pops up Dhaani who Samar claimed to be father of..later it was revealed that she was Kaya's daughter,who was ill-treated by Shashank...
Samar's alzeihmers: Poor thing,first tumor phir alzeihmers..but the latter turns to be a hoax..
Sauri in London: to establish their business Sauri move to London, however Dhruv and Vivaan still fight for property...uff...Sauri come back to India and as usual resolve the issue..
Family unites: well the show ends off by showing a united family...
