My score: 6 out of 10

Not much above average really. The song doesn't really allow the singer to showcase vocal range or any sophisticated techniques. It just requires a seductive feel and the right voice quality.

Alisha has the right voice quality for sure - her voice is not girly young nor womanly old and it can have a slight, sunsuous raspiness. So she scores highly there.

However, her expressions are patchy. She goes from sounding almost aggressive in 'Chhod chhod meri baahon ko' to tempting in 'Touch me, don't touch me Soniya!'. More consistency would be appreciated!

The constant mispronunciation of khata is also a niggle I have with this performance. 'Kha' must be pronounced throatily because it is an Urdu word. The 'kha' sound in khana is not the same as the throaty 'kha' sound in khazana!

By no means is this a bad rendition - in fact I have scored it above average because it is mostly competent. But the bar is set quite high in this contest, so a 6 should suffice.

Though I'll give my ratings later.

I disagree with xobile on this one. I think she sang the song nearly perfect with respect to matching the feel and perfect type of singing needed. She added that extra "sexiness" to her voice. I think it's difficult for anyone to sing like Alisha has in this song, she does songs like this her style and with ease.

She overall I think sang brilliantly. The last segment was especially good.

Like I said earlier, Alisha sang this song with great feel and really sang it in a manner that matches the song perfectly. There weren't too many difficult parts, but there were some kind of challenging parts, which she sang well. For example, the after-verse. I particularly liked the final segment when they went through Touch me for the last time. I think overall she overshadowed KK. Like when you listen to this song, you'll remember Alisha not KK. Which is a good thing. I wanna say 7.5...but I guess

I remember judges sometimes being frustrated when the audience gives something other than they thought the contestant deserved. I think I will go through the same feelings at some point in this muqqabla.
