As a child i had about 4 cats as pets . I was very attached to them and understood their "meaows" and body language.

So It may be something to do with childhood memories .

I think cats are fascinating animals which human have been able domisticate but never completely master.

4 cats? That is so cute . Cats are royal , spoilt , snobbish and magnificient, I had a problem connecting this snooty animal to you 😆 I love cats too - Not many people in India keep them as pets like u mentioned so iv only seen them on street and theyr hardly "magnificient" or "royal" 2-3 cats in my neighbourhood visit my place almost everyday in search for milk, water (we used to keep em at a place for my pet and the cats were aware). So now I feed them daily.
