Abhijeet's initial name in CID?

Okay I am little confused here... was Abhijeet's name Paresh initially and later on changed to Abhi? I was watching his memory loss episode and people were addressing him as Paresh, so was ACP. 😕

I don't remember watching that episode before so I was wondering if it was ACP who gave him the name and the job etc? do you guys know about it

No,No Abhjit played a thief called Paresh. But I don't think he was still called Paresh when be lost his memory. Remember his scene with his mother, in which his mother says "Abhjit, main tumhari ma hu"

Debayon Im slightly confused here.. I think I am messing up two different episodes because the one you are talking about seems familar but I think for some reason i missed parts of it.

As we have seen before a lot of members who have been part of CID core team at some point has played Victims, Suspects or Criminals in various episodes. Like ACP Ajatshatru aka Anup Soni played a Suspect in one of the cases. Similarly Aditya Srivastav, the actor has played parts in one or more CID cases before he joined the CID Core team as Inspector Abhijit.

The episode where you saw him as Paresh was one such episodes and if people are remembering correctly we are expecting another episode where he is a Victim. If you recollect in the Paresh episode he has a wife and a child. He stole ACP's gun and wanted to kill someone. This is not inspector Abhijit, this is just another character Paresh played by the same actor.

I hope this resolves your confusion.

thanks prabhanarayan......because when i saw abhijit as paresh i was confused too

but same time i realised that...........paresh had wife and two kids while our bahi is bhrahmchari.......lol

and those were indeed very old epi because entire CID team was different and even in that epi they were refering Fredrick as mikel.......

but i have question the other guy who is like ACP is he ashutosh gaurikar in young age or some one else ............i am confused at that part

Yes that's a young Ashutosh Gowariker. He used to play Senior Inspector Viren, the original second-in-command of the team.

Yes thats is indeed Ashutosh Gowarikar. He plays Inspector Viren. He is not ACP but second in command to ACP. In a lot of episode staring him, ACP is missing hence he is shown taking over the proceedings.
