Kathali, kathali, kathalaal thavikirein

Folks, this morning as I was driving to work, the old Hariharan song "Kathali, kathali ... kathalaal thavikirein" was playing on my music system. The song is from the movie "Avvai Shanmugi," which is Kamalhasan's remake of Mrs Doubtfire. Kamalhasan is forced to separate from his screen wife and in the song he pines for her and recalls happier times, I guess. (Am not a Kamal fan and it's been a long time since I saw the movie.)

Anyhow, the song, sung in Hari's inimitable poignant style, immediately brought to my mind images of ACD. It would be so appropriate for him. And Hari's voice would suit him very well.

Hey, I can't believe I am saying this but I wish Cheyar would feature the kind of love song and dream sequences that they feature in movies -- something I have always regarded with much scorn. No, I don't want to see ACD and Priya dancing (can't imagine him trying any dance routines and, no, I don't want him to be miming the song either; just have a song playing in the background.) There should be shots of him standing on top of a cliff (wearing that black top and blue jeans, hair blowing sensuously in the wind), walking along the beach, lounging in a park, driving around aimlessly, taking out his frustration on his punching bag, on the badminton court, on the TV remote, on the cellphone, and also reminiscing upon happier days with Priya. And, oh, also some dream sequences where they at the least hold hands.

Is it too much to ask? I am sure our dear Forum fans won't mind even a 6 or 10-minute song interlude, right 😉

I am sure our dear forum friends wouldn't mind a song interlude, it would be much better than some of the stuff they are showing these days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

800 episodes?

Hey, I saw an entry in Wikipedia or some place that said Anandham is expected to run for 800 episodes. Anyone knows how many episodes we will have crossed today? Can anyone verify the 800 episode info?

Not at all, romba too much thaan. Aanaalum never mind to watch even more than 10mins, if it really portrays with your imaginations Bon.

CR can have second thought on these scenes. Hmmmmmmmm, wait and watch.

I don't know, why? but I always get confused with Anandam updates, not with none other serials.

Revasri, I don't see why the confusion. There are only two pages of posts bearing the 30 March date, so it's not like you have to scan pages and pages of posts to look for today's update. I believe Dasa has been busy. Please give him some time. Thanks.
