Hi Friends, an amazing collection of songs- as always.
Wo hain jara..is melodiously naughty and tickles the heart while it soothes the soul. Ek hansi shaam ko... is OH so romantic.Mujhe kitna pyaar hai... makes you want to fall in love. Nain dwar se man mein.... is as lovely as rare.........I could go on , each song is so inviting.😊
Well it is judaai time again in CB Land today. More so for Rads as she is temporarily away from her husband and cannot go to her parents place either. This beautiful song from 'Bandani' depicts her pain well. If I could relate what I heard Asha B. say about this song in one of her interviews. She said that despite many takes she just could not get into the mood of the song. Then Mr. S.D. Burman just stopped the recording, he sat next to her and asked her about her parents. Hearing this A.B.'s eyes welled with tears as she was estranged from her parents at that time. Now Burman Da started the recording and A.B.'s voice reflects the anguish she felt. It's a beautiful song which makes you cry as many times you hear it.
Ab ke baras bhej bhaiya ko babul,
Sawan ne deejo bulaiy re.
Aaenge jab mere bachpan ke sakhiya,
Deejo sandesha bhijay re.
Ambwa tale phir se jhoole parenge,
Rimjim parenge phooare.
Lautenge phir tere angan mein babool
Saawan ke tandi baharein.
Chalke nayan mera kaske re jiyara,
Bachpan ke jab yaad aiye re.
Ab ke ...........
Bairan jawani ne cheene khilone,
Aur mere gudiya churaee.
Babul thi main tere laado ke paale,
Phir kyon hui main paraai.
Beete re yug koi citiya na paati ,
Na koi naihar se aaye re.
Ab ke baras...........
