Often times in Hindi serials we see that girls'no matter whether they are modern or traditional'wear sarees and salwars (and other conservative clothing) after marriage.
Do you think that today's youth should do the same?
I personally don't. I think one should wear whatever they feel like it, and express themselves. I mean sure, some-day's I'd wear sarees and salwars'but just because I feel like it. Perhaps it is because I do not live in India, so I don't find many occasions to wear Indian clothing. I agree to an extent on the conservative clothing part. I mean I wouldn't wear a spaghetti straps and a mini-skirt, that's for sure.
What about you?

I do like a lot of the styles they wear in the Hindi serials, but wouldn't necessarily wear them. We also have seen actresses who wear quite untraditional clothing even post-marrriage, i.e. Malaika Arora Khan, Karisma Kapoor, etc. I knew a friend who used to wear mini skirts and short tops who was also married, but they looked good on her. I feel that it should be the choice of the person. Times have changed, and women should not have to uphold a certain dress code just because their status has changed. If they have the figure to carry it off, why not?

For that matter, I have seen clothing I think is kind of revealing for a ten year old to wear, but it's still seen in the shops. It depends on the person and her parents in that case. 😳
