IMo it's kind of a pet name among Bengalis. I had a Bengali friend named Pompi. Another one was named Pom. There was another younger girl named Hampi. Rumpa sits in the same category, IMHO.

I am from bengal..and I know that bongs keep all kind of pet names...so rumpa must be one of them.

Lolz..Chitu..Pure se zyada this definition suits Rumpa well😆

Bengalis are usually very sweet re..Pata nahi yeh sample kahan se aa gayee

yeah,I know they are nice,but yeh sample..is not from Kolkata I think....her mom has a naughty look..jaise..she is wanting to tell the janta something...

Yep.this sample is from Allahabad! Her mom seriously looks threatened by Rumpa

I think Rumpa is quite stubborn adn pampered....her mom listens to whatever she says I guess...The other day in the BIskoot mooh meetha thing betwn teh two families...Rumpa in bengali told her mother ki yeah I have made the decision you just tell Gulabo that you too like the boy? her mom told her if she was serious and that she shudn't blame her l8r? what kind of mom tells her don't blame me l8r for making a worng decision in marriage? They shud lock her in a room with no connection tot he chahuan family....
