On the other hand, Prithvi was called by Balraj in the security room. Since so many guest would be present, security had to be at its best. Therefore, Balraj decided to take help from his son. As instructed by Balraj, prithvi was suppose to take care of the main party hall and the stud farm area. After discussing all the plans with his father, Prithvi started to leave for the stud farm. As soon he came by the staircase, he saw Damini, on the stairs struggling to put an out of place line of flowers at the sides of the stairs. She looked even more gorgeous in that tensed look, he thought. Since she was slightly bent over the stair case, the fringes of hair were irritating her eyes and the slowly rising anger inside her made her cheeks red. Prithvi slowly climbed up the stairs where she was standing and placed the flowers at their right place. Damini was so lost into her work that she didnt notice Prithvi staring at her. She stood straight up to look at the person who had helped her. As soon as she saw prithvi, she remembered her past shooting incidence with him. The slowly rising anger in her because of the flowers now shot up coz of the person in front of her. Damini thought of Prithvi a person who thinks low of women and fels that women should only be found in the kitchen. She suddenly turned her back on him and climbed up the rest of the stairs and went in her room. Her leaving so abruptly without saying anything to him left Prithvi very irritated. He just wondered why she did that?
Finally, the evening of the party came. There was a red carpet leading the guest to the hall of the Gujeral mansion. All trees and buildings were decorated with lights. The house outside and inside was shining like some bright star. If one walked into the hall then they could see on their right side was the dance floor and in the corner were the DJs. Right in the front was the bar counter and next to the counter was a glass door with white frames leading to the lawn where the dinner would be served. In the middle of the room was a big round table with white tablecloth. On that table placed were a mountain of glass filled with shampain and next to it was rectangular cake. The cake was iced with the picture of a mansion and lit with candles all around it. All the guests had arrived and the place looked like some sort of a fair. Some of the guests were rocking the dance floor, some were busy laughing the night away, and the rest outside in the lawn enjoying some great food and fresh air.
Prithvi was already inside the hall to see if all the security arrangements were fine. He wa dresses in black pants , a white shirt with sleevses rolled up and his hairs were well gelled which gave them a wet look. Ila came by the centre table holding a microphone and proceeded to thank everyone for making to the party. She then announced that her whole family will now join to cut the cake with her. Avni and Roshni soon joined her but Damini was yet to grace the party. Ila asked one of the servants to call her but just then Damini came and stood on the stairs. Everyone stared at her including Prithvi. Her hair was let down, around her neck was a a very simple and light necklace with a heart pendant, she had draped herself in a blue saree with white embroidery on it, her right hand flashed a veru expensive diamond bracelet and her feets wore black high heels. As she started coming down the stairs the people continued looking at her and complimented her beauty and success as she came near the table. She felt so proud of her self at that moment and her eyes glinted with this pride. Ila congrulated Damini and said despite being a daughter she is her son. At this compliment she shot a glance at Prithvi who just gave her a slight smile. The Gujeral women then hugged and proceeded to cut the cake. They fed each other the piece of cake. Ila then proceeded towards Balraj and also offered him the cake. She thanked him for all he had done for this family and that he is an important part of this family. Avni asked one of the servants to serve the cake to everyone. The guest returned back to enjoy the rest of the party.
Damini again looked at Prithvi who was staring at the other side. She then took a pice of cake in a plate and walked up to him. She cleared her throat to catch his attention. He turned his head and saw the cake in her hand. She said "tumhare liye". He got shocked by her gesture and said "really, tum mere liye cake laai ho". He took the plate and took the first bit from it. Before, he could eat further Damini interrupted him and said " so did u hear what everyone said about me and what mama said? Dont you think you should also say something?" Prithvi in order to tease her said "ofcourse i have to say something, he cake is very tasty😆". Damini in a harsh tone said to him " so you will not accept that girls are good every things" Prithvi tried to tell her he didnt mean that but Damini wasnt listening to him. Just then a girl wearing a black dress walked up to them and asked Prithvi for a dance. Before he could say anything, she grabbed him by his hands and went to the dance floor. Seeing them so close to each other made Damini burn with fire. She didnt know why, but at that moment she wanted to destroy evrything....the cake, decorations, tables, chairs...anything possible. She stood there, her hand clenched into each other, impossible to bear further she turned to leave the party.
As soon as she turned to go, a hand held hers and she felt the smae way as she had when Prithvi had first touched her. She turned to see who it was and was surprised to see that person.
