Who the hell goes to bed dressed in all their finery?
This is one of my biggest bugbears when it comes to desi serials.
The men always change their clothes...but the women? No one I know goes to sleep wearing heavy sarees and suits, full make-up and all their jewellery. Would it kill them to put her in a pair of pj's at the very least. Ok, so pj's might kill the moment a bit 😃, but you get what I mean. She could wear a high-necked, long-sleeved, full-length priests cossack for all I care, just as long as she isn't going to bed dressed like she's off to a wedding!!😡
Seriously, I can't relate to this idea at all. Inject some realism into their bedtime routine for crying out loud. Nothing risky, nothing sexy, nothing revealing. Just some ordinary, decent nightwear. Is that too much to ask?😕
We had a similar issue in another show and started a thread to voice our frustration. Lo and behold several episodes later, the female characters all began wearing nighties to bed!
