Okay just got off the phone with a Star One Official ..and i am not referring to the Response Department...Someone really official and who is at the helm of affairs (I promised this person i wont reveal the identity, but Thanks a million for taking the time out and speaking to me...)

First the Scoops:

SHOW IS NOT GOING OFF AIR................. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY...

Episode no. 93 has been finalized....

PRIDA MARRIAGE IS HAPPENING FOR SURE.....

Damz Will find out the truth, but if it is before or after wedding, that will be a suspense...

Star one Officials are aware of the fact that the 100 episodes will be getting completed soon..And are planning to send a congratulatory message along with a cake to to the team..

Now the conversation the gist of it..

100 episode celebrations

I explained how much as fans we wanted to see the 100 episode celebrations by the star cast cos the viewers and the cast and the entire team deserved it

The response was they will try their best to put it together a special celebration episode ( I requested we wanted caste interviews, bloopers, behind the scene action the whole work..)

Well the assurance is they will try their best to put it all together...so let us hope for the best and spam their inbox or call them up...

Lack of Promotion

Again our oft repeated complaints of the show not being promoted was pointed out and the response they will do so now..

I pointed out.. how Love ne the show is absent from print and video media.. and it was suggested we send requests to sbs and the whole lot...

when asked if we as fans were being given to understand that when such requests were made it was denied by the channel, the response was no it was not true...

Repeat Timing of the show, Night Slot

I asked about how the show was not being repeated often enough and fans missed the 11o clock slot, the answer was since a new show was started it was usually given extra importance..So those who want the late night repeat, u guys know what to do now..

I pointed out that the same previlege was never extended to love ne as even before it cud be properly promted HDAA started and how always we felt love ne was being neglected.. The assurance the matter will be definitely looked into and our complaints will be addressed i gues..

Change of Title Montage..

I asked about the change of title montage on how it needed to be changed as all the characters and actors had developed and gone into their characters fully now for instance Prithvi now looks different than when he started..

Again no promises, but they will try their best to change the Title Montage....

Nomination for Television Awards have been sent..

I asked them with the awards coming up, if the actors had been nominated(cos it is necessary that the nomination comes from the channel ), well the nominations have been sent for all the actors in the suitable categories and action has been taken in this regard...

How Fantastic the Show is

I said how the buzz was not being created about the show as it ideally should be cos unlike BT where u get lectures on Bharatiya Sanskaar and all that and for once u had a sensible serial with amazingly strong female characters which IMHO is the USP of the show and also the guys and the fact that this show caters to a wide audience as each jodi targets a particular age group and they have the classic case of Ek teer se Teen Nishaan...

Badmouthing, lack of support from its own site, Indya.com

And i also pointed out how its own site indya.com was badmouthing its own show.. gave the specific articles too...I think it took the person by surprise and was assured they will look into the matter..

Invitation to check out Our LNMDJ Forum at I-F

And i told her what a fantastic show this was and how everyone was crazy about the show..

And i invited her to check out our forum too so she would realize how hugely popular the show is, and i think they will come and check out for themselves our fabulous Forum..

Create Buzz for the 100 episodes and the Show

And I requested again they do not take off the show and they create this huuuuuuuuuuge big buzz for the 100 episode..and really promote it hard...

So, that is it folks...The Show is no way going off air...

Like i pointed out, because of the lack of promotion, a rumor tends to create panic in the viewers and we are left wondering what will happen... And it is time, star one started promoting this one hard...

(it is not happening, thank god, i dont have to worry about the show going off air from now onwards, i actually called them up atleast 7 times today and finally the coversation lasted over 10 minutes..Hmmmmmm... I am now worried about my mobile bill now, lol..)

Final note:

Our calls and email do matter .. A LOT..

Apparently every single mail or call the response department receives gets circulated to the powers that be...

Thats great news Shwetha - Made our day and probably a few months to come.

Meanwhile I too called up the channel was directed to the response department - a lady answered and assured that the show is not going off air. I did not ask her any questions but told her how popular the show is with the urban crowd - mainly the youth - comparing to trps of the typical drama may not give the right results of popularity. Also told her to ensure that the same yardstick cannot be used for comparisons.

Told her that the veiwership is more global in this case. Asked her to visit the forum - and also told her that there are viewers who totally depend on YT to follow up the show as some countries do not get to view Star ONE.

Any way good news - lets look forward to the Prida wedding and alaaaas the aftermath....

U got thro to the response department today, well all my six calls went waste cos i guess the person cudnt take the call today, my calls kept getting disconnected.and i called up at different time intervals as they requested..

Well in a way it is good, i didnt get the response department, that way i kinda convince them to let me speak to someone who was directly in charge and i got to speak to this wonderful person who is directly involved in the whole process...

And we can really enjoy the show in peace for a long time...

also what did they say when u wanted the repeat telecast..........i didnt get it...........i just wanted them to show the 100 epi celebration on sbs/sbb...................coz no1 shows 100 epi celebration on tv..................but they seemed uninterested as far as sbs is concernrd..............i dont know yaar............this sbs prob is not getting clarified....................WE CUDNT CONVEY OUR MSG PROPERLY THAT WE WANT TO SEE OFF SCREEN STUFF TROUGH SBS................NOT IN THE EPI................coz thats what is logical.........

And it is okay arti, ur mailing them is more than enough...

To be honest i dont know who calls the other but i am given to understand if the media calls them they dont say no..

As for the repeat telecast, u know it used to be aired after 11, but they discontinued that and i remembered ppl discussing how much they miss the 11 pm repeat which is why i told them.. Although 11 pm repeat looks a bit far fetched now, since they have increased the day repeats, who knows if they get enough calls or mails, they might reconsider it...

And thanks arti, and i told them i wanted a special episode u know 1 hour special sort of thing with all the media covering them.. so let us see what they do..
