The purpose of this show is simple: to find the "perfect bride" and who else but the mother knows what is best for her son!
A Marriage is the biggest event in the lives of most Indian people. The Perfect Bride showcases the exhilaration, excitement, festivities and the expectations that surround an Indian wedding. From matchmaking to the wedding ceremony, this show is a slice of the Indian family life.
An entertainment and reality show, The Perfect Bride gives mother in laws a platform to meet their prospective brides, spend time with them, assess them and finally make their choices.
The bride candidates and the mothers in law stay together for a period of 13 weeks in a villa. It is here that new relationships are formed and choices are made. Is the mother in law looking for a daughter in law like herself. And is the girl ready to accept her new role.
The fair homely girl competes with the modern ambitious city girl to win the heart of the mother in law 'Who will be the perfect bride? Rounds of elimination, fun activities and matchmaking make for enjoyable and entertaining viewing.
Complex emotions such as competition, jealousy and ambition will be faced and fought over, the saas-bahu relationship will be seen in a new light.
Meanwhile the contestants will also play host in the Villa that has full installation of video cameras, giving the audience 24 hour access to the challenges they face and the relationships that emerge out of it.
The show will end with a grand wedding with the consent of both the parties.

PERFECT BRIDE
Based on a foreign format, is another marriage-based reality show that gives prospective grooms a chance to find their perfect bride.
The show will have five well-educated prospective grooms and their mothers choose brides from 10 girls (over the age of 18).
Every day, the girls will have to finish tasks given to them; they will have to live for a certain number of days with the groom's mothers, who will observe them and decide who is the best in that week. The audience will also get a chance to vote for the girl they like and that girl will be exempted from elimination. The mothers decide who is eliminated each week.
On the other hand, the boys will also be assigned different tasks and have to live together in one place, where cameras observe them 24x7. They have to finish their tasks successfully and the girls will get a chance to eliminate them.
Ultimately, one girl will be finalised as a suitable bride and if she wishes to marry a particular person then, they can get married. Three mentors ' Malaika Arora Khan, Shekhar Suman and Amrita Rao ' will guide the contestants and the mothers. All the contestants have been chosen via matrimonial sites and the winners will get prize money of Rs 25 lakh. The hour-long show will air Monday to Friday at 10.30pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 10pm.

Malaika Arora Khan

Shekhar Suman
He is the master of comedy, and began his career with Utsav, which was critically acclaimed. Thereon he moved on to oner of the most popular tv shows ' Dekh bhai dekh where he became a household name ' Sameer chachu . He became the face of Sony tv with Movers and shakers and also a show on Zee tv- Simply shekhar. Tv cant imagine a comedy show without Shekhar suman- Laughter challenge, comedy circus and many others where he has proved his worth as judge. Actor, judge and he also tried his hand at singing, he launched his album ' Kuch Khwab Aise- We saw a complete different look of his last year when he appeared as the stylish shekhar suman with his new six pack abs. SHOW FORMAT
o 10 prospective brides and 5 grooms are chosen from all over India
o Monday–Friday are the reality episodes, Saturday being the elimination
o Every week the girls will be given a task to assess her family and traditional values, on the basis of which, they will be judged by the boy's mother
o The mothers will judge how compatible the girl will be with her son, to be his perfect bride!
o Every week, 1 girl is eliminated,
o Mother's can't eliminate the bride of the week chosen by audience voting
o Audiences have the power to choose mother in law and bride of the week
o The mother can't eliminate the bride of the week chosen by audience voting.
o Boys task revolves around antics that check the physical and emotional strengths of the guy
o Boys will be eliminated twice in the entire series
o In the boy's elimination week, powers are reversed
o The show will end with a grand wedding with the consent of both the parties with a grand prize worth Rs 25 lakhs to the winning couple
