~Episode Eleven~
Standing there for a moment, she looked down at his hand holding hers....feeling his grip on her skin made a chill run down her spine, where she was nervous about what he's up to next; though she was also feeling it nice that he stopped her
"I...." she started, unsure of what to say, he let her free
"Before you leave me with your apologies n my guilt...." he started
"But you don't need to...." she was stopped as he raised his palm
"I know what I need to or not....." he walked away from her, "You must be thinking of me as some egoistic fool....."
"Believe me, I never thought that" he smirked at her statement
"You actually don't need to be that good to me....I don't deserve that, not even an inch of it?"
"Hmm"
"I can't expect anyone to understand me the way I want to"
"That's true" she added, "But only a friend can do that....I can do that"
"Why do you still...."
"Because I know what you have gone through...."
"You know why I threw those flowers?"
"Why?"
"Because it made me sure that you had read that diary of mine.." Kaya felt caught, "You did, didn't you?"
"Yes...I read that"
"I wasn't really upset with you for bringing me those flowers but for reading that"
"I know...I had kept it back where it was" she informed quickly
"I saw you doing that only"
"Oh..." she bit her lip nervously
"But why did you do that?"
"Do you really want to hear the truth?" he nodded, "When I saw you for the first time, I felt something so mysterious about you....."
"Oh so you must be feeling relieved now that you have been able to unfold that mystery?" he asked sarcastically
"No I'm not happy at all nor relieved....."
"Now what else is left?"
"I didn't know so much has happened with you...."
"Please stop that, just stop sounding sympathetic" he said in a raised voice
"I'm sorry if I did, but I didn't mean to do that at all"
"Now what more do you want of me?" he confronted
"I want a friend, who'll keep no secrets....shall open up to me fully, can I have one?" she asked cautiously
"I don't need any to share my unfortunate thrusts with" he cleared

Down...Vikram was in search of his stupid friend, unknown of what was going on upstairs
Where he was still feeling irritated about his behavior done to her, he wasn't aware that he's at it again.....
"Shlok" he called out, while moving around the house, "I don't believe this....first he tells me to be here on time with the papers, n now he himself is missing"

She looked at him dithered.... as if trying to make out what would she do to turn this on a positive note, while he faced away
"Ok let's take it in both ways...I shall do that too" he looked at her surprisingly, "Now that's a fair deal, Mr. Mittal, isn't it?"
"An imposed one too" he added sporting an irritated look
"Come on Shlok....I can be a very good friend, trust me" she assured playfully
"N I can be an equally bad one, trust me" he replied in the same tone
"I trust you completely on that" she smiled wide as she took out her hand for a shake, which he took a bit hesitantly,
"You won??" he said like he had no other way out but to accept it
"You can too if you stay beside me" cheered she n a smile was returned
"I don't know about that but yeah I won't be allowed to stay quite, that's for sure...."
"Why?"
"You talk a bit too much as per my hearing capacity" he reasoned
"Just like Avni?" shocked was he hearing that name from her, she could see well the turmoil in his eyes gearing up for a moment,
"Can I request you something?" she nodded, "Please don't push me to the wall so that am bound to react again"
"Ohk ok sorry for that....will remember that"
"Thanks"
"I shall wait for the moment when you'll tell it all to me.....I'll wait for it Shlok" she thought
"Now that your work's over here....." she got that clearly, "I think we should move down, Mrs.Thomas must be home by now"
"Hmm sure" n she followed him towards the door
As he opened it,
"What man....you told me to come here n you're..." but he was stopped seeing her peeping from behind, "Aah...Kaya?"
"Hi" she greeted but her gaze still fixed on him, Vikram didn't miss that
"Did you bring those papers?" asked Shlok n Kaya gained her composure back
"Of course...after all you had ordered Sir" he replied in a flattering manner, handing them over to him while he rolled his eyes to that
"Stop that thing" he said as he passed across him smiling, Vikram whistled a little to that
"Someone's in a real good mood today" he commented in a quite audible voice, "What do you think Kaya, have you ever seen Mr. Mittal like this?"
"Speak a bit softer" she insisted
"Don't tell me you too are afraid?"
"Well are you afraid of him?"
"Yes....am very much afraid of his mood swings from a quite some time" he informed
"I know, but that's because he's gone through a lot"
"Hmm, I know that"
"Can we have you down Mr. Raina?" asked Shlok who had been going through the papers in the hall
"Yes Boss" he said before moving down with her
"Ah....you people carry on, I shall leave then" said she
"Ok" he said
"What ok Shlok, why are you leaving so soon, it's just a matter of sometime....you surely can wait" said Vikram
"No that's fine...I'll see you later Shlok" she said
"Hmm...bye"
"Ok then I'll escort you out Ma'am" poked Vikram
"Vikram....." started he
"I'll be just back" n he went out
Out as they walked past the lawn
"You know I'm still not able to believe what I just saw...I mean he's talking to you n that too quite well"
"He was angry with me, but now it's been resolved" she informed
"But how did this miracle happen?"
"Miracle is yet to happen, when you would see your friend back as he was earlier" she said with a renewed confidence in her eyes
"Am sure it would happen soon"
"It would, trust me" she assured
"Hmm...thanks Kaya"
"You don't need to thank me; he's my friend after all"
"Yes true...then I take my thanks back"
"That's better"
"Ok tell me one thing.....Shlok was saying that you have a fiance?"
"Yes......Nihaal Kapoor, he's in Delhi right now"
"N why are you here?"
"I have some work over here so......"
"Hmm, work comes first....he maintains that too" n they finally reached the gate
"Ohk then I'll see you later"
"It was really nice meeting you again, n this time for good"
"Hmm....bye"
"Bye" he waved, "That means she's only trying to be his friend, that's all. I shouldn't get myself to search any other meaning to this n further complicate their lives" he decided
