Female Breadwinners

Times have changed. No longer does a woman have to sit at home while her husband goes off to make money. Today's actresses are working and making their own bank balance. In some cases, the women are the actual Breadwinners bringing home more money than their partners. These are some actresses who are probably making bringing in more bucks than their partners.
Malaike Arora Khan
She is a host, a judge, an item girl, a stage performer, somewhat an actress, and most famously the hottest mom in Btown. Her husband Arbaaz Khan's only claim to fame is being Salman Khan's brother and Malaika's husband. He doesn't have any real films to his name and nor does it seem like he will in the future. He is obvoisuly not making millions. It is indeed Malaika who is making the bucks with all her different projects. Some people may criticize her for dressing cheaply, but at the end of the day she is doing it to make money for her husband and two kids.
Aishwarya Rai
Sure the Bachchans had enough money before Aish came along. Although Abhishek is in the groove of things now, Aish is still a bigger star than Abhishek and the media has said this many times. Also, she is probably bringing home more money with her endorsements (Lux Soap, Longines, Loreal, etc.) and Big Banner projects. Also, reports say that she is the highest paid actress with a signing amount of 6 crores for Robot.
Kareena Kapoor
Not married to Saif but they are a couple. Although Saif has inherited alot of money from his parents, he has only begun to be a bankable star a few years ago. Sure he gets paid in the crores and is producing his own film, But Kareena has so many high profile endorsements (Anne French,Citizen Watches,Garnier Nutrisse, Etc.) and films that i think she is bringing a bigger paycheck then Saif this year. Also She just gave a superhit Kambakht Ishq while Saif's last hit was Race.
Deepika Padukone
Ranbir has indeed inhertited money from the Kapoor clan, but his own hard earned money is probably not much to boost off. He has only done Saawariya (his debut film for which im sure he didnt get paid much) and Bachne Ae Haseeno ( Yash Raj pays stars whatever they want.) Deepika on the other hand has a line of big films and endorsements in her kitty. She is at the top today but Ranbir hasn't really made it yet. Im sure she is being paid more than him.
Bipasha Basu
She is a Rockstar and this sexy lady has been part of many Big films. Most likely she is making more money than John who really had nothing going for him before Dostana and now New York. With her Endorsements for Reeebok,Gili Jewellery, Cadila's Sugar Free Gold, Procter and Gamble's Head & Shoulders and Kinetic-SYM scooter etc., she is bringing home the big bucks.
Kajol
She is obviously a bigger star than Ajay Devgan will ever be. It is a known fact that he has mostly given flops besides an ocassional Golmaal Returns every 5 years. While Kajol has mostly given hits and been a part of some of the bigggest films in Bollywood. She is one of the most bankable faces in Bollywood. She is more bankable than many of her costars. This year she is a part of My name is Khan and also Stepmom. Now, Kajol is bringing home the real bucks and not to mention doing the bigger films.Like always.
