Sometime I also behave like superstitious on some situations.
There are couples of which I know:

- bad luck if black cat crosses your path- any cat just either go a few steps behind or let someone else go before u so that is gets the bad luck😆
- good luck if black dog crosses your path-  dont know abt this u mean daburman?
- something bad happen if dog cry i have heard that dogs either see yamraj or spirits therefore they cry and they cry if some is going to die in that area.
- good luck if you go out for new work or exam after eating curd-  never tried dont like curd
- bad omen if someone sneezes right before you are about to start or do something-  na i dont think this works.
- if your eye lid pulsates, it can be a sign of upcoming good or bad luck depending on whether it is your left or right eye. i dont understadn which pulsating if which eye bring good luck and which bad luck. confused 😕
and many-many more.....

lol yeah there are many many superstitions, and they change depending the place where u are (countryside/city), coz, modern cityzens and famous artists and sportsman do beleive in it a lot...

I guess I am superstitious about one thing ......after all😳  Whenever my daughters look really pretty, or appear to gain some height or get really good grades, I always say touchwood after praising them.....heck....I even find wood and touch it and ....ahem ahem....they don't know this but when they are asleep, mein namak mutthi mein ley ker unn kee nazar bhi utaartee hoon every now and then😳  Just don't wanna take any chances as far as my girls are concerned😊...That is so sweet 😳

I don't believe in superstitions - what bull. Something good happens, we are ready to take full credit for ourselves, crediting our hard work, perseverance, and motivation. Something bad happens - blame it on bad luck, or the poor black cat that crossed your path.

Well  i believe in superstitions to some extent but my life doesnt completely resolve around it, neither do i blame superstitions for anything that goes wrong in my life..but its always better to be safe than sorry...if a black cat crosses my path i normally take another path, it wont harm me to do that. I also try to avoid broken mirrors as it also considered to be bad omen for seven years.

As far as having curd is concerned, it has never really worked for me lol, i mean i failed my driving test when i had it.  However Friday 13 has been unlucky for me for more than one occasions..the number 13 is unlucky for me too, many things have went wrong on that date for me. So to some extent its true.

Superstitions have arised from somewhere from the History, we cant totally ignore that..if possible try to stay away from the bad omen, its always better to be safe than sorry as i mentioned above.

are religious practices not superstition? believing in God? you would call that faith but it involves an element of superstition.
