I watched Alisha's dance (silsila).I feel this dance was not meant for her style. Also, the way she wore the saree was not greaceful..,esp the pallu part.At one point, when she did some step lying on the floor, the saree was lifted and her underpants were showing. If only she had worn the saree nicely, the way it was shown in devdas movie,it would have been nice. This is my opinion.

i somewhat agree😕was actually expecting a more grafull dance from alisha. although i guess its because we've seen so much from her and other remaining dancers that really the standar bar has risen!

u mean her leggings were showing not "underpants" lols
i think for a stage performance her outfit was fine, wearing a saree is difficult enough but dancing in one is even harder, in films its a different matter all together because they can wear the sarees nicely have it tucked & pinned not a single thing out of place coz they can cut take breaks, fix and shoot again!!
neways i dun think it was an actual proper saree it looked lyk a saree styled skirt with pallu,,, she was wearing reddish legging instead of a pettycoat!

ya,her leggings..sorry 😆😆,whatver, the whole act didn't look graceful, maybe due to her saree and also, she is not good in graceful type dances. She is good more for disco types.sunita and vrushali are graceful dancers.

This style was worn by Rekha once on bollywood award show several yrs back....She had worn chudidaar or leggings inside her saree instead of peticoat...
As someone mentioned it is difficult to dance with Bengali style saree or saree in general to begin with....May be that is why they chose to have leggings inside her saree so she does not feel uncomfortable and still dance gracefully...
I find Alisha graceful and I enjoyed her performance....Although she looks good with western type dances also....

I liked her dance, and didnt see anything wrong with her leggings showing, as in dance it's usual, and that's why they wear matching (or skin colour) leggings or tights or shorts underneath their skirts and the like... Without it the female dancer would be extremely conscious about her legs showing and so it will affect her performance. With the leggings, that worry would not be there and she would be able to perform with confidence. Alisha's dance was a slow melody type. People are used to see her do fast contemporary and break dance kinds and so would feel the big difference. But that's a different issue and not the fault of her dance or her costume... My thoughts...

I liked Alisha's performance😊
To me she is quite graceful, energetic and perfect. After Vrushali, she is one girl whos performace I look forward to😳
BTW, when Siddhesh and Jas did the salsa, I guess Jas's leggings were more visible than her actual dress😳

I like Alisha's dance and didn't find any problems with her dresses. Her leggings or churidaar made her comfortable to do any kind of step without being conscious of the peekaboo. The Bengali saree was prestiched and if she had worn a Petticoat kind of stuff inside she wouldn't have been able to do the steps that we say because at one point of time the saree would come up and that would have been more weird. She did the dance gracefully and looked cute in it. I liked her dance but yeah she rocks in western dances.
