March 17th '09 Written Update
Alone in her room, Saras feels guilty for mistreating her family and hopes they will forgive her in time. Sav comes there and seeing Saras in tears, urges her not to lose hope and assures her that she is doing the right thing. The next morning, Kajri tells Saras not to do any work from now on and to have breakfast w/ them. All are hurt when Saras agrees. Sav asks Kajri for 2 hours to do Niy's godh bharayi. Hearing that, Yuv storms out of there. Kajri tells ok and warns them not to take more than 2 hours. She then sarcastically asks Saras if she is interested in attending the baby shower and Niy is sad when Saras replies no. In a while, the godh bharayi begins. Sav and the girls do all the rasms in a small scale and Menka too joins them. All give her gifts. Niy is pleased to see how much all care for her. Jhanvi and Radhaji come to a government office for help in saving their school, but are disappointed to know that nothing can be done now. They are abt to leave, when Nikhil and his men walk in.
Jhanvi tries one last time to convince Nikhil to change his decision. Seeing her talk politely this time, he agrees to give her one chance on the condition that in a month's time she has to get at least 100 students enrolled and warns her that she will lose the school if she is not able to do it, and that she will also have to put a lock on the school herself. She agrees to the condition and makes him promise that if she wins then he will never come back to their village ever again. After she leaves, Nikhil assures his men that they will win for sure. The next day, Ras orders Gauri to bring up a huge shelf from downstairs. Seeing Gauri struggle with the heavy shelf, Durga comes to help. While taking it upstairs, the shelf slips and leans over on Gauri's legs and cries in pain. Durga tries hard to get it off of her, but can't. Saras comes there hearing Gauri's cries and helps taking the shelf off of her. She joins in to help them, but Gauri asks her to stop showing as if she cares. Saras leaves in tears. Sav goes after her and alone she tells Saras not to get disheartened and to believe that they will get all the property back in their names, very soon.
Precap: Ras warns Kaj that she has too many skeletons in her closet and if they get revealed then she will be destroyed forever. Saras overhears them and wonders.
