Chapter 134: Kismat Connection – Part 45
Contractor walks out of Raja's cabin and starts cursing him. He is talking with himself that new prince is big hurdle. He is busy in his talk only and he didn't notices Samar and collides with him. Samar gets angry on him. But he asks for forgiveness and tells that he was disturbed after coming from elder prince cabin. Samar asks him what happened and contractor narrates story to him. He complains to Samar that isn't it unfair that elder prince is not thinking about benefit of people working for them. Contractor is fully aware of Samar's behavior. Samar simply puts hands in his pocket and hands over to money to him. Contractor gets happy. Samar tells him; always remember that you work for me. You will get paid more if you do one thing for me. Contractor tells him sure; he will do anything for him and looks at money. Samar tells him to make situation worst in village so that no one gets ready to sell land. It should be done before their manager visits the village. Contractor tells him it will be done. Samar asks him to leave and he leaves happily counting money.
Next day, Raja is busy in his work. He gets call from manager. He picks up the call to get next update about land issue. But news comes to his way is really shocking. He gets news that manager has been admitted to hospital. He rushes to hospital to see him. Manager even gives him shocking news about incident happened. He tells Raja that he goes to meet villagers but they were much angry. They didn't listen to him rather beaten him up badly. Raja doesn't get what to do next. He asks manager to take rest for few days and he will himself visit the village and tries to sort out the matter. Manager advices him not to do so; people over there are really angry on royal family member and not in listening mood. Raja asks him not to worry he will look into matter. Raja comes out of hospital and calls Abhi. He asks Abhi to book ticket for him to village. Abhi asks him why he does not prefer to go by car instead. Raja tells him he will go by bus only. Raja continues that do whatever as he told. Abhi agrees.
Next day, Raja reaches to village by bus. His main motive is to interact with people as normal person rather than royal family member. He inquires about mukhiya of village and goes to meet him. He introduces himself as reporter who wants to do some research in village to complete his assignment. He will make documentary film of their village and that will broadcasted on television. Mukhiya gets ready to help him and provide him all information he wants. While talking about village and other stuff, he purposefully asks about project Shishodhiya family running in village. Raja continues that he heard that RS has started this project for welfare of people. Mukhiya gets angry and replies him, it's just show off that they are doing welfare of people. What welfare they are doing by forcefully snatching land from people who are already in trouble. Raja doesn't get anything. He replies to Mukhiya but he heard that RS is paying good amount for land in exchange. Mukhiya replies if that was so, why he send order to everyone to sell land at price fixed by them only. And if we don't do so, then our ownership on lands will be cancelled using some higher authorities. Raja is more surprised to hear about new order Mukhiya is talking about. He asks when this order came to you. Mukhiya replies just before two days. Even yesterday, their manager visited village, but we taught them good lesson. Now none of them will think even to look at our lands. Raja realizes that there is misunderstanding happening between royal family and villagers.
He asks but he heard that villagers were ready to sell land initially but they refused later. Mukhiya explains him about situation happened. Initially, there were no issues as most of land area in village was fertilized and they were sure that villagers would be able to produce sufficient amount of grains every year even after selling land. But before two years major portion of land in village has been unfertilized. They all are worried now, how to overcome problem of shortage of grains. From last two years they are facing this issue in village. In such situation, if they sell their land situation will become worst and then villagers will not have source of income. Land owners who are holding unfertilized lands are already poor people. There is already no source of income for them. They are working in someone else's fields and trying to earn their bread butter. In such condition, if other land owners sell their land too. There will be absolutely no source of income for entire village might be. What other people will do after selling their land because they don't know anything other than farming. Raja questions him, then why didn't they explain this situation to RS before. He is sure he would have done something to sort out this issue. Mukhiya replies in two years we have sent thousands of application, but there is no response yet. So many times, they asked contractor who is looking into this matter of selling land. But RS is busy in attending foreign clients rather than having time to listen us. Raja tries to explain situation to him and replies, he has misunderstood RS. He is not person who would not look for welfare of common people. His first aim is always his janta rather than his own family. Mukhiya gets surprised how this guy knows so much about RS. He questions Raja same. Raja accepts the fact this time and reveals truth he is elder prince of Shishodhiya family.
