Yes! If people had more money they would by the good stuff to huff, and not inject themselves for quick action. Snort don't shoot - that is the lesson.

2. You have to believe that guns, in the hands of law-abiding Americans, are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology, in the hands of Chinese communists.

How many Chinese do  we see in anger management therapy?

3. You have to believe that there was no art before Federal funding.

There were only soup cans.

4. You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical, documented changes in the earth's climate, and more affected by yuppies driving SUVs.

Yes because bigger cars means longer car washes by girls in skimpily clad bikinis and that increases the temperature excessively.

5. You have to be against capital punishment but support abortion on demand.

Because save the zygote kill the scapegoat makes perfect sense.

6. You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity.

Have you heard government making people work overtime and work weekends?

7. You have to believe that hunters don't care about nature, but loony activists from Seattle do.

Seattle has no forest - they truly appreciate it.

8. You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it.

The same way repenting is more important than actually trying not to do regrettable things.

9. You have to believe the NRA is bad, because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good, because it supports certain parts of the Constitution.

What did you miss about supporting certain parts?

10. You have to believe that taxes are too low, but ATM fees are too high.

I use ATM every week and pay taxes once a year. Of course its unfair.

11. You have to believe that Margaret Sanger and Gloria Steinmen are more important to American history than Thomas Jefferson, General Robert E. Lee or Thomas Edison.

LOL! I actually had to google the first two and knew the other three.

12. You have to believe that standardized tests are racist, but racial quotas and set-asides aren't.

Its called the double standard - it has twice the standard than all other standards.

13. You have to believe Hillary Clinton is really a lady.

Yes. So what if she has more balls than all men in Congress put together (except for Rahm of course)

14. You have to believe that the only reason socialism hasn't worked anywhere it's been tried, is because the right people haven't been in charge.

It is always an ID10T error.

15. You have to believe Republicans telling the truth belong in jail, but a liar and sex offender belongs in the White House.

Clearly the truth teller did not get the memo of expectations.

16. You have to believe that illegal Democratic party funding by the Chinese is somehow in the best interest of the United States.

If we get taken over by China - we will have good Chinese food. What will the Republicans get us - breakfast of gritz?

I'm experiencing extreme hormonal mood swings. I laughed and at the same time had the urge to correct so many misunderstandings about democrats. Ultimately I compromised with responding through jokes itself. Will be back to normal shortly.

Abraham Lincoln once said "If half the people think you have done too much and half the people think you have done too little, then you have done just about right".

Some things about the newsweek article
The administration is throwing good money after bad in at least two casesโ€”the sinkhole that is Citigroup (there are many healthy banks) and General Motors (they deserve what they get).
Citigroup just declared profits rallying up Dow 380 points and last I heard there was bitching that Obama was not helping GM.
A 2010 budget that tries to do far too much, with way too rosy predictions on future revenues and growth of the economy. This led those who fear we are about to go over Niagara Falls to deride Obama as a paddler who'd rather redesign the canoe.
When you go over the falls you go over. At least the paddler is doing something instead of going "Wheee"
But there is only one question on this great test of American fate: can he lead us away from plunging into another Depression?
Newsweek makes many relevant points but asks the wrong question.   Obama is like the second mate on Titanic who had to take charge when the captain cried "Iceberg" and the first mate jumped ship.  Why are we thinking in terms of miraculous ship saving. That is just wrong. We have to think in terms of how we handle the sinking and how many we can save.

He did sign the executive order to revert restrictions on stemcell. That should help the worlds first and largest stem cell research facility to get back on track. His stormwater management stimulus is helping me keep my job.

Finally we can all chew on this

Stimulus for third graders.

The world did not end up in this global mess overnight. The transactions that precipitated it happened on Bush's watch. No one, not even Obama can change the situation overnight. He never promised that either.  He'd be the best money manager ever in history if he could reverse the $58 trillion estimated to have been lost globally and he never claimed he was.

Yeah, but you know what? A better way to evaluate Obama is by comparison to the alternatives. Without him, we'd be in even deeper. We'd have bush and the yankee-doodling republicans.๐Ÿ˜Š

It may have been true in Lincoln's time.  Now a days, majority, at times, means all fools on one side --- and what better example than seeing 53% bringing in this smooth talker believing he would stand by his tall claims and false promises๐Ÿ˜†

No no.  It's not the NW asking wrong questions.  It's Oby wasting too much time putting his economic team together.  As Leno said Oby should have hired all those people who were in charge of his fundraising campaign. We could have paid this thing off in like a week ๐Ÿ˜†
