Painting & reading helps me unwind - Mouli Ganguly
Mouli Ganguly as Saakshi
Primetime queen Mouli Ganguli enjoys working round the clock everyday. After having quit the Balaji soap, Kahin Kisi Roz, Mouli is currently busy playing a tough investigative officer in Saakshi on Sony TV. And although her hectic schedule leaves Mouli with little time to do anything else she doesn't mind it one bit. However, Mouli, a commerce graduate from Kolkata's City College doesn't compromise on her two loves: paintings and gymming, two things that she doesn't compromise on, no matter how preoccupied she is.
I like to start my day early. I am usually awake by 7 a.m. and begin my day with a hot cup of tea. After this my personal trainer comes home. I have a small gym at home in Lokhandwala, with a treadmill and some light-weights. So an hour-long workout sets the rhythm of my day.
Then my cook comes over and packs my breakfast and lunch that I usually carry with me to work. While driving to work I read newspapers and that's also when I have my breakfast that comprises fruits and milk. I reach for my daily shoot by 9.30 a.m.
The entire morning and afternoon is taken up with shoots. I grab my lunch during breaks. I often wind up work by 10 p.m. and then head straight home. I'm not a party person and I like to have close friends drop in at home.
After a shower I listen to classical music and then sketch for a while, I like doing portraits. This one hour in the day is the only time when I can be with myself.
I crash early by midnight but after I've read a a little. These days it's I'm reading Many Lives Many Masters by Brian Weiss.
