Prachi settled down on alaap's bed under his blanket with sukriti sitting opposite to her,she greeted her:pata nahi tha tum aa rahi ho?"didn't know you were coming?" sukriti smiled and looked towards alaap and said:i told him! Prachi was about to say when milind entered the room,he cheekily waved to prachi and said:hello Prachi! you look good! Prachi with fake grin batted her lashes and said:hello to you too and you look good too!.Milind grinned at her fake composure and with a jupming thud settled down inside the blanket.Milind in his mind:doing great shah!while prachi thinking:two could play this game! Alaap said aloud: "Prachi go and get us some beverage!"she was about to whine when milind patted his stomach and said: "Ya man,me hungry like hell!" Prachi unwantedly moved out from the blanket,she would have done anything for her brother and dear sukriti but its milind for whom doing anything taxes her....
Alaap meanwhile looked at milind and said:what?stop looking at me like that!okay-okay!i really love your sister and i am not playing around with her,you should know even if god asks me i wouldn't hurt her!all i can say is that she's the inevitable part of my life!alaap pulled sukriti a little closer and hugged her shoulder,sukriti slyly looked at her brother while he nodded his head in mutual assent and said:you hurt her and you're a dead meat and stop touching her uselessly!alaap removed his arm looking at a very hopeless brother infront of him but then he knew being a brother what does it feels like....!Milind looked towards door with a plan cooking in his mind,he said: "alaap,do you mind if i go and get myself a glass of water?" alaap shrugged his shoulder: "i wont! till the time you know your way!"Milind at once leaped out of the blanket and wore alaap's slipper for ease but before exiting the room he warned alaap:nothing doing got cha!while sukriti just patted alaap's cheeks for his helplessness...
He stood near the door and saw her adding some ingredients and doing and making god knows what!He looked at her petite yet curvaceous body,knowing exactly about her hidden assets inside that loose suit,he shamelessly grinned when Prachi looked at him after getting conscious of not being alone in kitchen but then she again resumed her work....
milind stood with his hands folded and asked:tumhe kaam karna bahut pasand hai na? "you quite love doing work,dont ya?"
Prachi turned around with a hand on her waist and asked: "well,i dont find anything wrong in it"...
Milind chuckled:woh toh dekh hi raha hoon "well,i am seeing that"..typical indian girl!
Prachi snorted:atleast we dont manipulate grammar rules,we atleast follow proper basic grammar rules unlike you...typical NRI!
Milind laughed while she turned red in anger and asked:has kyu rahe ho? "why are you laughing?"
Milind with devil self:"i am sure i wont be taxed for laughing and well to answer your question i always had an image about alaap's sister but fortunately or unfortunately you totally contradict that,you know!"
Prachi with suppressed lava in her:kyu?kaisi hoon main? "why?how am i?" and what does your statement means?
Milind again chuckled and said: "well if you so desperately want an answer to it,then i shouldn't keep you waiting 'miss so-not-lucknow',i thought you'll be smart yet sweet,caring like sexy and funny like alaap but all i find is an irritated,quarrel-some and maybe no-no-no not maybe surely a snob" ...
Prachi angrily challenged him and said:aur tum? "and you?"tum bhi kisi batameez se kum thode hi ho,arrogant ho...tumhe lagta hai ki london se padh ke aaye ho toh bhagwan ho gaye,main sab janti hoon tum jaise aadmiyon ko! "you are also no less than an ill-mannered fellow,you are arrogant...you think you have persumed your studies from london so you've become god,i know men like you"...
Milind went a little forward in kitchen,stood by taking support from counter and asked with challenging tone:achcha?tum aadmiyon ke baare mein bahut kuch janti ho lagta hai unpe kafi research ki hai?kahin unpe Ph.D toh nahi kar rahi ho? "really?you seem to know alot about men as if you've really investigated about them,do you by any means persuing your Ph.D on men and their tactics sort of thing?"
Prachi took out four mugs and while pouring coffee remarked: "well its good to be known about exotic species and consequences related to them"...
Prachi walked out with tray even before milind could say anything but then she turned around and said :and milind the score is now 1-0...
He threw back his head and laughed loudly and said to her retreating back: dont worry it wont take me long to make it even,i believe in an equal and fair game!
He poured himself a glass of water and grinned knowing she definitely have a not-so good image about him,and he wouldn't even deny that but he seriously mean no harm to anyone....not even to her!
