Just watched today's episode. it was beautiful.
I just cried, every scene was portrayed beautifully, but I have to say I was very emotional when Ranvir hugged Mamaji. I was crying because of both them, they were so good.
It was so natural, I felt as if he was my dad.
Hats off to Ranvir and Mamaji.
Also the scene where Ranvir said he has lost Ragini and everyone was all were crying in the room. it was so natural.

What I found the most gut-wrenching was Ranvir's constant attempt to smile throughout the entire time that he was at Ragi's house....

There is this moment, right after Ragi tells him that she'll forget him and live her life as her parents tell her....he keeps staring at her with this bittersweet half-smile on his face, tears in his eys, as she looks back at him with tears in her eyes as well, before finally dropping her gaze.

And after that, the very fact that he was trying to console MAMAJI, when his own pain was probably beyond comprehension! That really got to me!

And then ofcourse, that moment, right before he leaves...and tells Ragi, "Apna khayaal rakhna"...and she closes her eyes as he says that....beautiful!

And when he finally reaches home, after having made this valiant attempt to keep his emotions and pain at bay the entire time that he was at Ragi's house, when he finally breaks down in Chhoti's Ma's arms.....it was just too emotional! Especially at the end, where Chhoti Maa has almost a dead look in her eyes as she cradles both Ranvir and Aalekh in her arms.

Just a fantastic episode! Very well written and acted by everyone!

i agree, when i saw the scene of ranveer hugging mamaji, it was obvious he was trying to hold mamaji up, so that he would not collapse under the pain, when i am sure all ranveer wanted to do was breakdown himself....and when he finally does break down, he can't even hold himself up, chotima had to help him to sit on the bed too, he just collapsed completely, lost not just ragini but all his hope!! and that scene with her cradelling both a crying alekh and ranveer, was just poetically heart wrenching......i can't express how much i loved todays scene in bidaai!!!

Couldn't have said it better myself!

I love the fact that he asked Mamiji for ashirwad even though she was against the marriage as well.

I love that he looked at Malti with gratitude and also an apology. He didn't say a word to her yet expressed his feelings towards her. Brilliant!

Also absolutely love when he walks away from Ragini, he pretty much had to force himself away. And then the way he stopped, I thought he'd turn and look at Ragini, but instead, he asked Mamiji for ashirwad and then he stopped again to tell Ragini to take care of herself. Just so bittersweet.

I didn't like that he told them to marry Ragini off, but was nice of him to say so.

Yeah, I didn't like the 'marry Ragi off to someone else' line either, but I let it slide cuz the poor guy looked so torn up anyways...LOL

Lol, yeah, he looked like he was going to kick himself for saying so.

At some points, it looked like Ranvir was fighting with himself, just trying to get the words out and yet not wanting to.

I love how they portrayed that.

Malti looked so unhappy.

@Rahm: Yep! Ranvir's turmoil was well portrayed by Kinshuk in that scene....and he was especially good in the breakdown scene when he starts crying and saying "I lost her"

Malti really did look very unhappy.....the look she shared with Ranvir as he says goodbye was so emotional!

The only scene I found kinda pointless in today's epi was the Ragi-Vinu scene.....:S

beautifully said. i think that's what was so heartwrenching. he smiled thru the whole thing even tho all he wanted to do was breakdown and cry. he lost his struggle in front of chotima tho
