What I found the most gut-wrenching was Ranvir's constant attempt to smile throughout the entire time that he was at Ragi's house....
There is this moment, right after Ragi tells him that she'll forget him and live her life as her parents tell her....he keeps staring at her with this bittersweet half-smile on his face, tears in his eys, as she looks back at him with tears in her eyes as well, before finally dropping her gaze.
And after that, the very fact that he was trying to console MAMAJI, when his own pain was probably beyond comprehension! That really got to me!
And then ofcourse, that moment, right before he leaves...and tells Ragi, "Apna khayaal rakhna"...and she closes her eyes as he says that....beautiful!
And when he finally reaches home, after having made this valiant attempt to keep his emotions and pain at bay the entire time that he was at Ragi's house, when he finally breaks down in Chhoti's Ma's arms.....it was just too emotional! Especially at the end, where Chhoti Maa has almost a dead look in her eyes as she cradles both Ranvir and Aalekh in her arms.
Just a fantastic episode! Very well written and acted by everyone!
Lol, yeah, he looked like he was going to kick himself for saying so.
At some points, it looked like Ranvir was fighting with himself, just trying to get the words out and yet not wanting to.
I love how they portrayed that.
Malti looked so unhappy.
