Jayesh looked at the shopping list masi had given him, dozen limes, kilo of unripe mangoes, tamarind, some spices and pound of bhel mix. He looked up, "Masi…aa shun thodak divash pehla toh aa badho samaan lavee dhidho hatoon. Vaparay gaya?"(What's this masi? Didn't I get you all this stuff few days back? Is it all used up?)

Masi smirked, "Aree kanjoos, tari vahu ne khatu methu khavanu maan thaiy to shun karu? Hoon koi thori limbu sherbet pivani ke kachi keri kavani?"(Scrooge…your wife wants to eat sweet and sour things than what can I do. I am not going to drink lemonade or eat raw mangos?)

Jayesh's face turned red and to hide his embarrassment he asked, "Beju kayin jovan che?"

Jigna came running out of the kitchen. "Bhai mara maate tohak metha pan liye avjo and chokra mate ice cream. Haan ne Arvind ne Ramkakane tyani kachori ghani bhave che…thodik layi aavajo."(Brother can you get some sweet paan for me and icecream for the kids. And Arvind really like kachor's from Ramkaka's shop…bring some.)

Jayesh wrote it down while cursing his sister silently. His sister had not left yet…and why should she…because she now had the run of the house as masi kept Bani away from doing work.

Jayesh went to his bedroom to find Bani sitting on the floor and reading from a book. She looked up and smiled at him. He felt his heart go boom boom, she was looking so lovely now. Her cheeks had plumped up and her b***** had grown a little bigger and the little weight she had put on made her look all curvy. Jayesh felt this glow around her when ever he saw her.

"Bani…niche shun kaam baithi…khatla upar beshine vaatch ne. Tara maate shun laiava bahar thi?(Bani why are you sitting on the floor, sit on the bed and read. Do you want anything from the shop?)

Bani shook her head. She closed her book and stood up, "Jayesh aje sanje apne bahar pharva jaishun…ghar ma baitha gamtun nathi. Masi and Jignaben toh maine kayin karva deta nathi. Upar thi masi ketlu bhadhu khavanu maine ape."(Jayesh this evening can we go out. I have fed of sitting in the house. Masi and Jignaben will not let me do anything and on top masi keeps on feeding me.)

Jayesh put his arms around her and nuzzled her neck, "Bani jaroor apne pharva jaishun. Apne chowpatty par jaishun…bhelpuri kahvi che ne tane."(Bani we will go out. We will go to chowpatty and you can have some bhelpuri.)

Bani's mouth started watering, she could almost taste the sour, sweet and theeki taste of the bhelpuri. She looked desperately at Jayesh, "Have toh maine amna's bhelpuri khavi che…tame paan chun…yaad karavi atiyare…mara pet ma tamara munna ne haave chain nahi parse jyaa shudi bhelpuri khavaa na mare tayaan shudi."(Now I have to eat some bhel puri. How could you remind me of it now. The baby will now be restless unti I don't eat some bhelpuri.)

"Chaal mari saathe…apne pela Ramukaka ni dukane jayee. Peli tari nanad ni bhi kachori kavanu maan thiyun che…kayin aina paag toh bhari nathi ne?"(Come with me…we will go to Ramukaka's shop. Your sister-in-law wants to eat kachori too…don't tell me she is pregnant too.)

Bani looked shocked, "Tu shun bole che…tamari behen che..jaraak toh sharam karo."(What are you saying? She is your sister. Have some shame.)

Jayesh arched his brow, "Taane khabar che…jae divash thi taane rasoda mathe khasedi…te divash thi…peli jigli ne mazaa. Saru saru khavanu darooj."(You don't know…from the day you stopped running the kitchen…Jigna is having fun. Everyday she wants to eat nice, nice things.)

"Jayesh…haaven shun atloon nanu maan tamaru…behen ek che…bhale ne jarak amne jai kayin khavu hoye toh khaye."(Jayesh, you have such a small heart. She is your only sister. Let her eat what she likes.)

"Bani…shun maru dil nanu che…kavi vaat kare che tun. Babdu chun paar na toh nathi kehto ne."(Bani…do I really have a small heart…have can you say that? I moan but at least I don't say no.)

Bani kisses him on the cheek, "Na..taru dil toh dariya jevun che…baas koi divash taro prem khali nahi thaye."(No… your heart is like an ocean, the love you have will never be go away.)

Jayesh too kisses her, "Bani…tane meethu meethu bolta saru avaaden…taru ek bol sambhani maru dil peegri jaye."(Bani you like to sweet talk…just listening to your one word and my heart melts away.)

"Maare toh tamne prem ni gaanth ma bandi rakhvana chene." (I have to keep you tied up with strings of my love.) Bani said coyly.

Jayesh laugh, "Tara prem ni gaanth toh koi divash nahi toote Bani, aytli mazboot che."(Your knot of your love strings will nerer break, that's how strong it is.)
