Suicide or Fake death...

Nahar from all indication is a very religious person. He always said he wanted Saloni as his wife in his next births. So, I assume he believes in reincarnation. So, how can he Commit Suicide - by his action he would have doomed himself for all eternity.

Also when Nahar was going into the water - one flashback was of the scene from 14th October when Nahar had asked Bhaboo to tell him the story of the King who had left everything and went away. If Nahar still believes he is dying and has decide to go away (fake his death) and live out his life at the ashram - as the king had done. He ofcourse will be clueless about Jiji, Varun etc. and still believe he is dying and is doing Saloni a favour by staying away. He would have spoken to the Swami etc. and they would most proabably be assisting him in his endeavour.

So, I did some research to understand the Hindu view of suicide...........

Hinduism and suicide: Hindu view on suicide

Hinduism does not approve suicide. Hindus believe that human life is very precious, which is attainted after after hundreds and thousands of births and provides an unique opportunity to each individual to make a quantum jump into higher planes of existence or attain immortality. Even gods and other celestial beings do not have this opportunity unless they come down to earth and take birth as human beings.

It would therefore be a very serious mistake on the part of an individual if he commits suicide. It would seriously hamper his spiritual progress and put him back on the evolutionary scale by a few lives behind. It would also expose him to the risk of redoing in a more arduous way what he wanted to avoid in the first place.

According to Hindu beliefs if a person commits suicide, he neither goes to the hell nor the heaven, but remains in the earth consciousness as a bad spirit and wanders aimlessly till he completes his actual and allotted life time. Thereafter he goes to hell and suffers more severely. In the end he returns to the earth again to complete his previous karma and start from there once again. Suicide puts an individual's spiritual clock in reverse . Hindu scriptures therefore aptly described it as murder of self (atmahatya).

I also don't think Nahar died either. Like you mentioned he could not see saloni suffering like this and decided to free Saloni from the agony of dying every day seeing him in this condition.
Nahar is coming back as we know may be pretending to be amrit or some one else.
I agree suciide is a sin and No one should attempt it. But sometimes a person see no other way out when life closes all doors for him /her for escape from very cruel fate that at the moment the only thing seems right is to take one's own life and end all the misery at once. When the life becomes totally hopeless.

I dont usually post replies or new threads. But I just had to this time. I so agree with your theory. I also think that it is Nahar and not Swami Amritanand. Infact, after seeing him again in the water, I also mentioned the same theory to my family. Hope we are right.

judy.......
im really not watching this show like before so i have no clue about the latest nonsense but our post was interesting so i wanted to reply....
The spirit yoni........that hinduism talks about is called the brahmarakshasa yoni. A human who decides to violate Gods' law and decides to end his ife before God has decided to makes the sin of upsetting god's plan and hence suffers a fate far worse than being reborn in unlucky circumstances...........he goes neither to heavn , nor hell , nor is reborn as a human or animal but becomes a spirit .....a brahmarakshas . After spending a decided amount of time there he is reborn in many inferior species on the planet till he acquires a human body once more and the saga of human suffering and happiness starts once more to determine his next fate . The cycle of births and deaths stops only when he realizes the foolishness of his own ego and surrenders to God . A point comes in every human being's life when all his wishes end and the only wish that remains is that God should grant him eternal devotion to his lotus feet . Exactly at this point God's grace envelops him and he becomes free .
For serials like saat phere that flaunt half baked knowledge of hinduism by harping on the holy alliance of man and wife for seven births it is impossible to know how much sucide is frowned down upon by the same religion . They will show how hinduism frowns on barren women and show unending explanations for it through platitudes voiced by many popular characters but they will never show a character telling why hinduism frowns on suicide and what are the spiritual after effects of that mistake . Neither does it practically solve anything nor does it help spiritually ....but no serial makers will ever show it . If they did , so many youngsters who rashly contemplate sucide as the alternative for problems would hesitate before rushing into it . For instance , American soaps rather glorify the fight with cancer ........they show the lead saying " I'll beat it , I'll not give up .' In an Indian serial they will show the lead heroine like Saloni stopping medical treatment , hiding from family important details and running off to an ashram she barely knows ! The lead hero contemplating suicide !
Anyways I dont think they will kill off the real Nahar . At any point he will make a comeback in the most ridiculous way , perhaps by even rising from his cremated ashes like Sandman ! And this they will show is possible by Saloni's pativrata bhakti or something and audience will swallow it ! Nothing surprises me anymore .
Btw ....happy new year !
