actually there were some missing scenes in B.R. chopra's mahabharat
when karna died, shakuni was shown, grieving for karna's death and saying something.....B.R. chopra should have shown Krishna going to karna, asking for donation, karna giving him gold teeth for donation..then krishna showing his true form and giving karna a Moksha....
i dont know why b.r. chopra showed shakuni instead of krishna...🥱

Interesting...I never heard of that story. It's not written in the Mahabharat Book I follow. Where did you read that? It's an interesting story. But I never read of Shakuni grieving Karna's death either.

I think you mean she has too much originality.😆 She wrote more of her own stories than showing the real scenes.😭
The Draupadi Cheer-haran was very disappointing, because...
1. They showed it outside instead of inside. This may not seem important, but it is. After Duryodhana came back from Yudhisthira's Rajasuya, he asked his father to make him a sabha better than the Maya Sabha in Indraprastha. Of course, since the Maya Sabha was made by Maya, and inlaid with gold and rare gems, Duryodhana's new sabha was not nearly as enthralling as the Maya Sabha, but it was still a very handsome structure. The dice game and Draupadi's cheer-haran took place there, because Duryodhana wanted to show off his new sabha to the Pandavas.
2. Dhritarastra, Bheeshma, Drona, and Vidura were not present at the dice game: only the Kauravas, Shakuni, and the Pandavas, so 90% of the talk of Dharma, righteousness, and unrighteousness was missing, making it seem too much like a daily soap opera. The questions Vidura asks Dhritarastra and the spectators in the cheer-haran in the original Mahabharat epic were dripping with talk of Dharma and Adharma, and taught us a lot just by reading that scene, but that was missing in Ekta's Cheer-Haran scene.
3. Shakuni looked like a serial killer. I mean, I know he was evil and all, but he was supposed to look royal (I mean, come on, he was the King of Gandhara) and like a ruler, something the older Mahabharat portrayed very well. This one is bald to begin with, does not look one bit royal, and laughs like a maniac. Yup, a serial killer.
4. While Anita Hassanandani acted okay, she screeched way too much, even for Draupadi's character. Draupadi was supposed to speak loudly, chastize the Kauravas, and speak with anger at the injustice being done to her, but she was not supposed to screech like a banshee. I normally like Anita as an actress, and I think she is the only one who is doing good in this Mahabharat, but she screeched too much in the cheer-haran scene.
5. Instead of Shri Krishna giving Draupadi the sari, it was his Sudarshan Chakra. While this is not a big deal, it just doesn't give much of a good image, and makes the scene look bland.
6. Everyone wore black, like they were emos or something, and they looked Greek. I understand that the costumes are much better now, but during the cheer-haran, no one looked royal. There was no jewellry, no mukuts, no royal feeling.
Anyway, I agree with you.😃 BR Chopra's MB was much much much better. Nitish Bharadwaj as Shri Krishna was perfect, and Rupa Ganguly as Draupadi was also perfect!😛

yeah i mean she is writting her own mahabharat which is very much like her stupid soap operas..the behavior of character doesn't seem well. ..
i have seen some ekta kapoor's mahabharat on youtube.....it was so bakwaas....and yeah i saw sudarshan chakra coming to a palace and supplying saree to draupadi...
i hear 9X is a flop channel and her mahabharat' is not popular.....if its true..i will be really happy
hey Ekta,,if you are reading this,, please give yourself a tight slap for making stupid mahabharat...you really suck at making soap operas...😡

Prdoction and casting of BR Chopra Mahabharat is way too superior than Ekta's KHMK but I'd like to say that if one accuses Ekta of showing different things, then BRC Mahabharat too has its own limitations and inaccuracies like:
Krishna influencing Draupadi at herSwayamvar ,asking her to deny Karna
Ghatotkacha joining the battle after ten days while acc to texts he is there since day 1
Draupadi insulting Duryodhana saying 'ande ka putra andha' while texts say she just laughed at him at the illusional palace.....

Also B.R. chopra missed some important scenes of karna
1) arjuna pushes karna's rath few steps back and then its Karna's turn, he pushes arjuna's rath 1 or 2 steps back. Krishna gets impressed and paises Karna for his power. Arjuna gets surprised and asks Krishna for reason. he says he is the god and there is one more god Hanuman..on one can shake us but Karna manages to do it.
2) Sri Krishna gives Moksha to karna after his death, He disguises himself as a brahmin, goes to karna and ask for donation. karna gives him his gold teeth..he grabs a stone and hits on his cheek to break gold teeth and gives to krishna.....then krishna shows him his true form and gives him Moksha.
B.R. chopra showed Shakuni's grieve after karna's death..not Krishna
