PART 1
It was another day full of love and life.. It was their 5th
anniversary they celebrated today.. The night was peacefull.. when lying on the
bed she came forward nd whispered "Happy Anniversary once again Honey..!" with
a light peck on his cheek.. keeping his eyes close he pulled her into a tight
hug, kissin her head he said "Happy Anniversary Jaan.. I love u"
"Love you too.. U know I just can't believe that we've spent
all these 5 blissfull years together now..Things've changed completely in last
5yrs. na Armaan'!"
"not just things Jaan.. even our lives nd most importantly
you, MY LOVE, have changed so much for gud'" he said with a satisfied smile
"Hmm.. now go to sleep kal subah Papa aur muskaan di k saath
meeting hai office mein.."
his grip tightened around her "gudnite Jaan"

"dad wats this meeting is all about..? Armaan asked his
father
"Beta, I've taken up an important deal which involves both
JM Industries nd Drona"
"what kind of deal papa'?Nd how can 'WE' help you..?"
"Ridhhima beta, let me complete.."he said politely
"well..being THE TOP BUSSINESS FIRM OF THE WORLD, I got a request from The Dean
of a hospital to help them come out from their
financial crisis they've been going through.. and''..I DON'T KNOW WHY
but I felt like considering it'" he finished with a sigh
"but uncle, firstly wat are 'WE' here for..? all decision
are to be taken by you..Secondly, what will you gain out of this deal is not
clear to me.. nd Lastly what does Drona has to do with this deal'?" Muskaan
asked with all the due respect as her mind has already started working
overtime..
"Relax Muskaan beta.. I'll clear all ur
doubt.. I know that mostly all the decisions are taken by me BUT this time as I
said I DON'T KNOW WHY, I JUST FELT THAT THIS DEAL HAS SOMETHING HUGE IN STORE
FOR US.. U've been called here as u hav all the medical knowledge so you hav to
keep inspecting the hospital till then I'll try nd dig up if there is something
wrong in its past.." Jai mallik cleared his points
"Hmmm.. Dad I think its gonna be interesting nd sumthing
definitely different.."
"the Dean ,His Wife and one of the Senior Doctors of his
hospital will be here in 2days..And Ridhhima this deal is majorly ur
responsibility as U R my luckycharm in cracking even the most impossible
deals.." Mr. Mallik said proudly
"okk papa.. If u think it's a gud deal, then it has be
one.." she replied
"By the way whats the name of the hospital..?"
As Mr. Mallik was about to answer Muskaan's question His
mobile rang nd he left for an emergency meeting w/t answering..

"Dad ap bhi vahi soch rahe hain na'?"
"Hmm.."he sighed "but we hav no other option, humein
Mr.Mallik ko convince karna hi hoga.."
"but what if our fears take a turn to reality..? Kya hoga
agar JM Industries k owner ka beta, Armaan Mallik, wahi Armaan hua jise aapne 5
saal pehle bina kisi reason ke sanjeevni se nikal diya aur India mein blacklist
karva diya, sirf isliye coz he marrried ridz W/O ur consent..?" with a few
argumentative thoughts, anger rising in him.. he bursted out.. "anjali stop
it.. Agar vo Jai Mallik ka beta hota to yahan se haar maanke nahi jata.. Apne
baap ke paise aur power ko use karta.. and I want no more arguments on this..

"ab bas bhi kariye aap dod.. vo dono chalegaye na humari
zindagi se, to ab kyun koss rahe hain unhe.. chaliye khana lag gaya
hai.." padma calmed down her husband nd daughter..
PART 2
London Airport
"Mr.Mallik said that he would see us in his office.. His
driver would be here to pick us up.." Shashank informed..
Soon they spotted the driver nd now they were sitting in the
lounge of Jai Mallik's cabin, talking to him.. "so Mr. Gupta.. How was ur
flight.." "It was fine thankyou Mr. Mallik.. So are we here discuss the deal
right now..?" Shashank asked
"Umm.. No.. Actually Mr.Gupta I still have no business
interest in this deal.. But since the day we talked on phone about the deal, I
felt a certain urge to meet the man who's been working so hard to save his
hospital.." Jai mallik confessed..
"oh the pleasure is all mine.. Well that's my wife Padma nd
Dr. Anjali Gupta, my daughter.." "hello Mr. Mallik" anjie greeted him
formally..
"Hello Ms.Gupta.. and yes Dr.Gupta the deal would entirely
be taken care off by my DAUGHTER-IN-LAW.. She is my LuckyCharm actually.. and
means even more than my sons to me.." Mr.Mallik said proudly
"Oh Okk.. and when can we meet her'?"
"well in an hour probably.. Your living arrangements will be
done in 2 days till den you are gonna stay in my house.. so you can discuss the
deal after she returns from Drona.."
Shashank smiled "thankyou Mr.Mallik.."
"Okk then lets go.. We have to be home for lunch on time or
else she'll screw me up saying I neglect my health for business.." Mr.Mallik
said aping Ridhhima

Mallik Mansion
They got out of the
car to see THE HUGE house and a beautiful garden in front with a Handsome man
playing with an Angel looking Toddler.. Padma felt a distinct sense of Deja vu looking
at the kid..
"kitna pyaara bachcha hai.." Padma said pointing towards
Arav..
Mr.Mallik smiled "vo
Arav hai.. My Grandson.."
Anjie was shocked wat she saw "OMG'! Is that THE RAHUL
MALLIK, THE FAMOUS POPSTAR'?" "yes Ms.Gupta that's Rahul.." said Mr.Mallik
amused at her excitement which he often saw in girls for his son..
"but he isn't married yet..right..?" anjie asked
"yup.. not married but engaged to HIS LOVE.. nd that's Armaan's
son.." he said moving inside'
After an hour Gupta family freshened up nd changed were now
sitting with Mr.Mallik , talking while Mr.Mallik was praising Ridhhima all the
while..
"Vo hai hi itni pyaari bachchi..Chote, bade sab ka itna
dhyaan rakhti hai..sach kahun to usle aane se hi ye ghar ab ghar lagne lagaa
hai.. Rahul ko dekho din bhar bhabhi bhabhi karta hai..sab usse hi satate hain
aur fir usse manate hain.." as he looked past Gupta Family he saw HER
approaching with Rahul.. Gupta Family was sitting with their back to her while
she came nd stood near the sofa.. Carrying Arav nd chatting with Rahul..
"Arre aao beta.. main abhi tumhari hi baat kar raha thha..
Inse milo.. Yeh yahan vo hospital ki deal ke liye aaye hain.." Jai Mallik
completed as Ridhhima came nd stood beside them extending her hand saying "Hi..
I'm Ridhhima Armaan Mallik.." but as she looked up her smile vanished.. she
never thought that she would face her family again after so many years..Anger
started to build up in her.. today she was not Scared at all coz she knew she
has a family to support her.. Her chain of thoughts was broken as Mr.Mallik
asked her "Ridhhima beta, vo Armaan aur Muskaan kahan hain..?"
she was still too shocked to say anything so rahul replied
instead coz he knew "Dad vo Muski aur Armaan bhai ko kisi emergency conference
mein janaa thha" Ridhhima knew that rahul has noticed her expressions'
Listening to rahul, she quickly moved her head to rahul , smiling wickedly "Right..Papa
aap muski Di bare mein Rahul se hi poocha kijiye.. Engagement ke baad se Rahul ko unke ek ek minute
ki khabar hoti hai.. Kyun Rahul..''
Hearing Ridhhima Rahul was red with blush , he was caught
red handed.. Protestingly nd childishly "bhabhiii.. main to bas aise hi.. aisi
koi baat nai hai.. Dad dekhiye na bhabhi ne fir chedna shuru kar diya.."
"par Rahul usne kuch galat to nai kaha na.. Ar tu kitna chedta pehle isse Armaan ka naam leke..
kyun.." Mr.Mallik said amused "right papa.." Ridhhima giggled in harmony
with her father completely forgot about Gupta Family..
"Theek hai aap sab haso main ja raha hoon room mein.. sab
mera mazaak udaate hain bas ek Arav hi mera sacha dost hai.." saying this he
took Arav from Ridhhima nd went to his room.. Smiling at his kiddish behaviour
Ridhhima said "papa aap luch ke liye chaliye main aati hoon usse lekar varna
unhi bachon ki tarah roothke baitha rahega.." She headed towards Rahul's room
smiling..
while Gupta Family was all shocked at this family teasing
scene coz they've never thought to meet AR nd Muskaan HERE nd have never
imagined the super rich family to hav such special bonds..
PART 3
Lunch
It was clearly visible that Shashank, Anjali and Ridhhima
were not comfortable eating together at the same table.. Padma was only looking
at Arav who was a splitting image of his mother.. Ridhhima knew if Rahul again
cathes her being uncomfortable then he was bound to question so she quietly
involved herself in serving Mr.Mallik nd Rahul as usual nd then made Arav sit
in her lap to feed him with his cereal, which was really a battle.. He was
making groogling sounds, patting table with his chubby lil hands while Ridhhima
was partly getting irritated nd partly was amused looking at her naughty son..
"Ridhhima beta aaj isse kya hua hai.. he is acting very
fidgety..!" Mr.Mallik asked
smilling at Arav "Kuch nai papa.. Aapka Prince ab badaa ho
raha hai" kissing Arav "..teething ki wajah se pareshaan kar raha hai' Armaan
hota hai na to apni kahaniyon mein uljha ke isse khila deta hai..!"
"Hmmm'..Seems like sumone's missing me haan'?" They all
heard a voice
"Hey bhai.. U r late.." Rahul exclaimed while Ridhhima kept
quiet..
"I know yar.. aur bohot bhook bhi lagi hai.." Armaan said
making baby face nd caressing his stomach.. "tum fresh ho jao main tumhari
plate lagati hoon..Okk.." Rids said getting up from the table.. stopped wenshe
heard him "Umm..nahi its okk.. you have ur
food, tab tak main Arav ko khila deta
hoon lao'" taking Arav kissing his cheek "Hey my lil Prince..Aap mama ko
pareshaan kyun kar rahe ho huh..!" Whilst Arav making baby sounds armaan got
his reply from Rahul.. "..kyunki bhale hi yeh dikhne mein bhabhi ke jaisa hai
par all his mannerisms are like you.."
"oye chup kar..bhabhi ka chamcha.."Armaan said smirking "Shaam
ko jab muskaan aayegi na tab dekhoonga kitni zubaan chalti hai teri.." He said
naughtily, putting a spoonful towards Arav who was now having it nicely..
Armaan has still not noticed Gupta Family as he was sitting
comfortably on the sofa with his back facing the table and Arav playing with
his hair lolzzz..While Ridhhima was just praying silently that armaan doesn't
create any scene in front of his dad regarding Gupta Family..Soon Mr.Mallik
left the table in a hurry finishing the food, taking Arav from armaan he headed
towards his study.. Armaan got up to the table as he was damn hungry nd food
was smelling really good.. he moved there flirting woth Ridhhima as usual.. "waise
basket the food is smelling great.. aur waise bhi tumhare haath ka khana is always'"
his words were lost as he was dead shocked seeing Gupta Family on the table..more
than shocked he had anger building up in him.. "yeh yahan kya kar rahe hain..?
And why didn't you tell me before..?" he asked ridhhima arching his eyebrows..
She took his hand in hers "calm down honey.. yeh log yahan
papa ki deal ke liye aaye hain.. and I didn't tell you coz didn't want any
scene in front of papa..Unki knowledge mein I had no family before marriage nd
plz Armaan I want that truth to remain.."
Understanding her he placed his other hand on hers but was
still furious "Par Ridhhima.. tum phirse..I mean..I don't want u to get upset
or cry coz of THEM'"
"Armaan calm down plzzz' I'm fine.. tum ho na mere saath..
Rahul tum isse room mein le jao nd don't question him..I'll tell you everything
okk.. main armaan ke liye khana laati hoon.." "Ji bhabhi.. Don't worry.. chal
bhai' bhai chalo yahan se.." he said literally dragging armaan.. Armaan left
but not without "Don't you dare hurt her again.. Or else Your personal or
professional life would be a history Dr.Shashank Gupta.. Uss waqt main chup
thha coz maine apne dad ki power
aur position ka misuse karna nai sikha ..But this time WATCH OUT FOR URSELF.."
as soon as he left anjali said making a face "What
attitude.. samajhta kya hai khud ko..? vo hota kaun hai iss tarah baat karne walaa..?"
to her surprises she heard a quick reply from Ridhhima "iss
ghar ka maalik.. nd don't you dare speak a word against MY HUSBAND..You
got me Ms.Anjali Shashank Gupta.." saying this she left as her
husband needed her'..
Part 4
"bas armaan...Itna gussa matt karo plz ..maan jao' hum papa
ko kuch nai bataenge'meri baat samjho armaan..!"Ridhhima tried to convince
armaan when he was all worked up nd wanted to tell his father all the truth..
"Jaan tum meri
baat kyun nai samajh rahi.. main unhe sabak sikha ke hi rahunga.. It was
they who asked us to get out of their lives and now its again them who returned'
Papa will teach them a gud lesson I'm sure'"He said furiously .. realising the
seriousness of the situation Rahul excused himself from there.. "Jaan I can
never forgive that man jisne humein alag karne ki koshish ki and that too when Arav
was about to born.."
**FLASHBACK**
Announcement: Dr.Armaan report to Dr.Shashank's cabin..
"may I come in sir..?" "Yes, Dr.Mallik' Take this nd you can
leave.." shashank said scratching his temple "yeh kya hai sir..?" Armaan gave
him a puzzled look "Well that's urs nd Dr.Ridhhima's suspension letter.." "But
why sir..?humare careers ka kya hoga..? how can you do this.." "I can do
anything here..I'm the dean if you remember..Maine
pehle hi kaha thha tumse ki Ridhhima se dur rehna..lekin tumne meri baat nai suni..Ab
dekho main tumhara vo haal karunga ki tumhe kahin kaam nai milega Dr.ArmaanMallik
kyunki maine tumhein India
se blacklist karva diya hai.. iss haal mein Ridhhima tumhare saath ab aur nai
rahegi, vo vapas ayegi mere paas rote hue.. dekh lena.."
"ENOUGH.. Don't you dare take Ridhhima's name from ur
dirty mouth again.. main sochta thha ki aap mujhse gussa hain aur sirf mujhe hi
chot pohcha sakte hain par aap to baap kehlaane ke layak hi nai hain.. You want
Ridhhima to Cry nd get all tensed nd worked up at such time..GOT DAMIT UR DAUGHTER IS 7
MONTHS PERGNANT FOR GOD SAKE..How can u put her through so much at this stage.." Armaan
banged his fists at his table nd got out of his cabin angrily..
Later that evening
"Basket.. wats wrong why are you crying honey..?" "Armaan..Pa..paapaa..aaye
thhe..vo keh rahe thhe ki...k..ki main tumhe divorce de dun coz he has suspended u from saneejvni aur Raaj se shaadi kar
loon.. He said he even ready to accept the child.."She narrated the whole
incident in between her sobs.. "main tumse alag nai hona chahti armaan..Yeh
humara bachcha hai aur HUMARA hi rahega na..?" "Shh..Ridhhima..chup ho jao..
main humesha tumhare paas hi rahunga.. bas baby stop crying see U r hurting me
nd junior with these tears.. ab chalo gimme a smile sweety.." as she smiled satisfied
that she has her armaan with her "Ah ha.. that's like my Princess..I LoveYou nd I promise
jaan do din mein hum yahan se bohot dur honge..jahan
Dr.Gupta ka sayaa bhi nai hoga humari family par.. London
mein..."
**FLASHBACK ENDS**
Now armaan was sitting on the couch nd ridhhima was sitting in
his lap holding him tight.. she knew it was impossible to make armaan do
sumthing without his understanding it so decided to give her reasons to him "Achha
shona ek baat batao.. Papa ko sab bataa ke ya Dr. Gupta aur unki family ko
problems mein daalke humein kya milega Hmmmm'.?" She said keeping her cool nd
brushing his hair lovingly.. "humein bhale hi kuch naa mile par vo aaj ke baad
apni position ka misuse nai kar paenge..nd i'll make sure that happens soon.."
he said but with less anger.. She knew his anger was cooling down by the
massage she was giving him in his hair nd temples.. "To tumhein achha lagega ki
jin papa ki hum itni izzat karte hain, jinse itna pyaar karte hain, unmein aur
Dr.Gupta mein koi fark na rahe.." she was explaining every bit just lik anyone
would answer the questions to a small
kid.. "Matlab..?" he asked making a confused face.. "matlab yeh shona.. ki hum sab jaante hain ki papa humse kitna
pyaar karte hain.. nd after him knowing the truth Gupta Family would
surely be a history.. par papa bhi to yeh sab apni position ko use karke hi
karenge na shona.. to papa aur Dr.Shashank mein kya fark reh jayega Hmmmm..?nd
we surely don't want our sweet nd bubbly father to turn into Dr.Gupta even in
our worst nightmares right..?" "Hmmm..You are right..main dad ko kuch nai
bataumga I promise.." he said holding her closer.. "par jaan again the
situation remains same na.they won't change at any cost nd it would hurt u..aur
main yeh nai dekh sakta.." he said now parting nd looking at her.. while she
got up to pick up the plate lying on the table to feed him with her hands.. "Don't
worry shona the tables have turned now..they want it or not they have to talk
to us RESPECTFULLY..aur mujhe kuch nai hoga coz I hav MY FAMILY TO GIVE ME ALL
THE SUPPORT I NEED.." she said smiling nd putting a bite into his mouth which
eats greedily.. She makes him eat his full lunch the same way nd kept getting a
kiss on her fingers with each bite he had..
Part 5
Its been a long day for all of them.. Later in the evening
when muskann came home from Drona, she saw THEM sitting with Mr.Mallik'.Without
any greetings she straight away went to AR's room.. After sometime wen Rahul
was told the whole truth, they decided that they will not tell their father
about it nd behave normal bcoz even RM understood what Ridhhima said "THE
TABLES HAVE TURNED.."
Dinning table
The whole Mallik Family nd Gupta Family was sitting
together..Before Guptas were chatting with Mr.Mallik but as soon as all others
joined in, Mallik Family had their general Drona, household nd teasing chats
while Dr.Gupta preferred to keep mum..
"Ridhhima beta I want you to be in the meeting tommorrow for
that deal.. What time can you reach office after Drona..?" Mr.Mallik asked
politely "Dad..She already has 3 surgeries lined up for tommorrow..She'll be
hell tiered..How can she attend the meeting..?" armaan said defencively..
"Relax son..I was just asking her..Coz You see, I don't LEARN HER schedule for
the day UNLIKE YOU.." Mr.Mallik said with a teasing smile.. Ridhima blushed,
Armaan embarressed while Rahul nd Muskaan had a hearty laugh.. Mr.Mallik turned
towards Rahul nd said "Stop laughing at ur
brother son..I even wanna know, when are you nd Muskaan planning to get married..?"
Now it was their turn to get red whilr Armaan nd Ridhhima grinned at them..
Finally after a few minutes Rahul spoke "Umm..Dad..we wanted to wait for a
couple of months..Till then I'll be done with my concerts nd Muski will be done
with her dream project of the orphanage too..Why do want to hurry..?"
"Umm..actually kids I've been talking to my lawyer regarding the will nd the
possessions, that's why I wanted you to get married soon.." Mr.Mallik said
looking at the blank faces of his children.. When Ridhhima stood up abruptly,
se was angry "I'm okk with the meeting tomorrow papa.. I'll be there at 6.."
she left before anyone could react.. "Dad.. why did you say that..You know how
angry bhabhi gets wen you do all these Will nd death talks.." Rahul said irritably..
"Yeah Dad..he's right..you know she loves you even more than me nd Rahul do..
nd remember last time you said so, she didn't talk to you for 4 days.." Armaan
said raising his eyebrows..
"okk..okk..I'm sorry kids..Don't worry I know how make My
Daughter smile..All I need is her favourite ice-cream nd a teddy bear to cool
her down..SO buh-bye.."
As Mr.Mallik left in a hurry Shashank was flooded with old
memories of his lil girl eating ice-cream nd playing with the teddy bears he
use to bring for her..

"Come in Ridhhima beta.. We've been waiting for you.."
Mr.Mallik said
"I'm sorry papa..I had an emergency, that's why I'm
late..Shall we start now..?" Ridhhima said in a tiered voice.. "Beta you look
tiered.. are you fine..?" Mr.Mallik said in a concerned voice.. "nai papa I'm
fine bas migrane ki vajah se hai..I'll be fine when I take medicine..Don't
worry.. Its more important to get over with this deal soon.. You can start with
your presentation Ms.Gupta.." She said sitting on the chair..
As the presentation went its Half way, a peon knocked in as
he got in he placed tray on the table.. Mr.Mallik was abit upset with the
interruption "Who asked you to get these things on here..? I told you I don't
like getting disturbed in between my meetings.."
"I'm sorry sir.. But I was ordered to get this medicine nd
this Hot Chocolate for Mrs.Mallik..Nd coffee for the rest of the members.." the
peon said hesitantly
"And who asked you to'?" before peon could reply Ridhhima
said "Papa its Armaan.." she glanced at the peon "Is he here..?" "No mam.. He
called at the reception nd asked Ms.Rosy to give these things right now as you
must be having a bad head ache.." he said smiling "Thank you.. you can leave
now.." Mr.Mallik said nd after he left he continued "Ridhhima beta tumhe kaise
pata ki it was Armaan's idea..?" She blushed slightly nd showed him her cup of
hot chocolate nd it was like..

All Mr.Mallik could do is smile at the sweet gesture of his
son.. "Okk beta you have that medicine nd I'll thank Armaan as he sent coffee
for his poor father too'" he said teasingly "now lets finish the meeting nd get
going.." They had their meeting while Shashank's heart ached again on seeing
his daughter so happy.. He for the first time FELT that Armaan takes gud care
of her nd her family is a Real Gem, she was living a life he always wanted her
to live.. A closeknit family.. Loving
brother-in-law.. Caring father-in-law who was more like a frien JUST AS HE USED
TO BE AT SOME POINT OF TIME.. his eyes were wet, yet he controlled them as he
didn't want to create any scene nd focus on the meeting..
THIS PART WAS FOR SHASHANK'S REALISATION TO TAKE A START..
