Thanks for the account. Yes, even I was surprised with the twist there. I thought no one will get hurt and Seigai will escape.

I was expecting a little more emotion and drama. But Pandi and the officers didn't show much disturbance by the results, nor did Seigai seem rustled for long. The actors are good, though I am reserved about Paandi - always the same expressions, but the screenplay and writing is letting them down now. These two were what really pushed the drama high at one time.

Poor Sreeja and Senthil have to deal with what they are given to do. I am sure they must be tired of repeating the same stuff.

I guess Seigai will now seek revenge. Expecting Thamarai back soon. Chithappu and Kaibomb have been added to Saravanan's gang now:-)

They didn't intend to kill Recordu. They were using him as a bait to get Saravanan to some place so they can encounter him. Recordu knew this (I think) and then got in the middle when they shot.

Ya, they didn't look like they were too upset over the fact that their plan backfired and Saravanan didn't get too.

Janak, what u said about the story line & actos is so true.

Short Updates (hope the regular updater doesn't mind. sorry)

* Jothi meets Duraipandi and tell him that she is Meenu's friend and asks him about where Meenu is. He is hesitant but then tells her. Outcomes Saravanan, it was his plan to use Jothi to get Meenu's whereabouts. He asks Duraipandi about why he didn't say anything. Duraipandi explains his helplessness.

* Saravanan and co discuss about how to go to Meenu's place since only students and relatives can go to the hostel. Saravanan is scared that she might say she doesn't know him. Chithappu tells him to continue his studies. Saravanan is going to go to college along with Vandu and Chittu.

I think they are trying to get the serial back on a lighter track for sometime, before the next confrontation. Good in way, since the best of Madurai was the initial ego tussles between Seigai and Meen. Will be nice to watch a Meen who isn't crying or sprouting sentimental words all the time.

Episode 263: Saravanan gets College Admission:

Saravanan and Co arrive at college gates. Vandu wonders why their school is so big. He gets hit on the head by Saravanan. Chithappu gives a big carrier fit for 10 people, with food and a bottle of horlicks!:-) Some jokes later, they enter with their certificates.

Principal figures these are loafers and denies admission at first. But Saravanan turns into Seigai and threatens principal. They have kidnapped the principals daughter. With no way out, principal allows them entrance, and takes them to introduce to the class.

Meenatchi is shocked to see the three. Saravanan teases Meen while another classmate of hers, who is interested in Saravanan, mentions to him about the Seigai version. Saravanan teases her, to Meenatchi's annoyance. Seigai and Co are confronted by Meenatchi later, as to how they entered with no qualifications. Meen is ticked as she believes they have used some foul method to get into college.
