Bollywood's new bombshell, Deepika Paudokone who is awaiting the release of her second flick Bachna Ae Haseeno, is the best amongst the list of Maxim Hot 100 girls.

The Maxim Hot list ventures into India for the first time, and Deepika Padukone is the first winner of the Indian first edition.

Deepika said at a press conference, "To be honest, personally I never thought of myself as 'sexy' or 'hot' but if that's the call that people have taken, then I hope I live up to it. I am so excited about this."

Anup Kutty, editor of Maxim-India said, "Deepika was our choice as the winner because apart from her huge fan following with the new generation of Indians, she also has the potential to be an international face. This calls for a huge party."

Deepika Padukone joins the string of Bollywood beauties like Bipasha Basu, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif who have made their way into the list.
