Vidya looked at the letter in her hand once again and cried harder. This time whoever had been threathening her had stooped really low. They had kidnapped her parents(Vansh's parents) and threathened to kill them if she didnot do as they said. She heard the room door opening. She looked up tp see Gunny entering the room.

as soon as she saw gunny she couldnt control herself...she hugged him...gunny was totally confused...first of all she was crying n then she hugged him..he didnt knw how to react..but he realised dat sumthings terribly wrong..otherwise she wouldnt react like this...he hugged her back..akriti left the room...she knw vidya needed sum time wid capt randhawa...after sew seconds gunny asked

gunny : vidya...kya tum thik ho?? wat happened?

vidya : mai vansh ko pehlehi kho chu ki hu..apki jan ko khatra hai....aur ab ma baba..mai unhe nahi kho sakti...(n she started cring again)

vidya was so scared...gunny tried to calm her down...

gunny : cadet..pls calm down..

after hearing those words she realised dat she had hugged him..

vidya : i am sory sir..wo main..wo actually...(she was so embaressed n scared..she couldnt complete her sentence )

gunny knw how she was feling..he moved further n took her hands

gunny : vidya...u really dont have to apologise..its ok..i understand...calm down n tell pls me wats wrong??

she looked in his eyes...she knew he was d only person she could trust..she could see dat concern in his eyes...she was feelin safe beibg with him..just the way she used to feel in presence of vansh...

n then....

There was a knock on the door... Gunny wondered who it was, since it was juss past0500hrs in the morning...He saw Shikha coming in...

Gunny was amazed to see her..

- Shikha tum yahan??

- Yeh to mujhe tumhe poochna chahiye?? Tum yahan kya kar rahe ho?

Tumne mujhe promise kiya tha ki hum saath jogging ke liye jaange..

Come on lets leave. .As she said it he held Gunnys arms

and started takin him away... But Gunny just took off his hand frm her...

-Shikha thts enough... Im really sorry par main aaj nahi aa sakta...

Tum kisi aur ke saath chali jaana....

-What??? Kisi aur ke saath...

Tum kyun nahi aa rahe yeh jaan sakti hoon main??

As she said it she gave a starry look to Vidya...

-Yeh sab baatein hum baad mein bhi kar sakte hain...

Mujhe Vidya se kuch baat karni hain so can you please Excuse us...

Shikha felt insulted... She didn't know why Gunny

was giving more importance than her to this girl...

She felt jealous of Vidya... But there was no way; she left in a haze...

-Sir aapne usse aisi kyun baat ki?? Usko bura lag raha hoga...

- Vidya abhi sabse jyaada important tum ho...

So please stop thinking abt anything else and tell me whts the matter...

Mujhe woh letter dikhao...

Vidya silently handed over the letter to him...

Gunny saw it was written tht Vanshs parents were kidnapped

and if Vidya didn't do like they've said then they wud be killed.....

Gunny got tensed; this was indeed getting very serious...

He saw at Vidya, she still had tears in her eyes...Gunny knew

she wudnt be able to lose them now... She had lost Vansh and it

wud be difficult for her to lose someone else close to her....

He got worried for her...

Gunny had to take a way out...

-Vidya yeh letter kahan se, I mean kisne...
Vidya
-Sir uss khidki se phaikha gaya tha,

par jab maine dekha koi nahi tha....

Gunny
–Mujhe lagta hain shayad yeh OSS ka kaam hi..

Uss gun ki sacchhai chupane ke liye yeh sab....

-Sir par ab hum kya karein?? Vidya asked innocently

-Ab jo kuch bhi karna hain main karoonga...

As he said it he started moving outside the room...

Vidya went n stood across him...

Vidya
- Aap aisa kuch nahi karenge...Agar aapko kuch ho gaya toh?
Gunny
-Kuch nahi hoga .Leave my way Vidya...

This is getting serious now. Uss OSS ko sabak to sikhana hi padega...

-Par Sir please meri baat suniye... Aisa kuch mat kijiye

jisse aapki jaan ko khatra ho.....

Gunny was not in a state to listen to anything...

He started walking, as he was goin out Vidya with her back

towards him held his hand in hers and said

"Main jee nahi paaongi aapke bina"

Gunny didnt know wht to say, he turned around to see Vidya

who had tears in her eyes....

Heres my part...

Gunny-Cadet aap..

Vidya--Main aapke bina nahi jee paaongi.....

Gunny-Dekho mujhe kuch nahi hoga ...

Vidya--Main marr jaaoongi...

Vidya kept sobbing...

Gunny just tried to calm her...

Gunny-Dekho sab theekh ho jayega..Cadet meri

Vidya cut him..

Vidya-Please mujhe mere naam se bulao..

Gunny-Lekin tumne hi toh kaha tha ki tumhe mere vidya bulaney se vansh yaad aa jaa ta hain.....

Vidya-Abb main hi keh rahi hoon.........mujhe kabhi kabhi vidya toh bula hi sakte hain....har waqt cadet kehney se mujhe ek parayapan sa lagta hain.....

Gunny looked at her....man it was so tough to understand these girls..

Vidya looked much calmer...

Gunny-Alright Vidya.....mujhe kuch nahi hoga....so you relax...mujhe jana hoga.....

Vidya--Please.....please sir...aap samjhte kyun nahi aapki jaan ko khatra hain......vidya ek baar aapna pyaar kho chuki hain dobara nahi khona cha..

And Vidya stopped abruptly....what was she saying...Gunny was stunned....he was shocked beyond limits.....what had she just said..........

Vidya looked really embarrased and felt foolish of herself to have said that....but she was scared .....scared that she will loose him....and she dint want to loose him...

Vidya-Sir woh Vidya........

Vidya was cut off.......Gunny's action shocked her to the core...
