Uma and Sudhanshu are leaving the Basti. Namita meets them and asks Sudhanshu how he is. Namita tells Uma that she may sound selfish but would like her to talk to Sambhav and her in laws about her marriage with Sambhav. Uma tells her to talk to Sambhav herself, she explains to Namita that she can beg Sambhav to marry her, or even force him, but that would be no good as such relationships do not last, so she advises Namita to talk to Sambhav and if they both decide to get married then she will not let anyone stand in their way. Namita hugs Uma.
Uma and Sudhanshu return home, and find that a havan is taking place, MIL informs them that its for Sudhanshu and they should attend.
Namita meets Sambhav and asks him about his decision if he is going to marry her. Sambhav tells Namita that the decision is not theirs to take, but its between Uma and Dushyant. He tells her that Dushyant had asked Uma to sign some papers which she did not, Namita tells him that there must be something in the papers that is why didi did not sign them. Namita slaps Sambhav and tells him that she realizes now that Didi was right and you were just using me, and she leaves and Sambhav smiles.
Uma and Sudhanshu doing the pooja, the Havan fire troubles Sudhanshu, he coughs and cant look at it. Pandit asks for something and Uma's MIL sends her to get it, and tells the Pandit to continue the pooja, when Pandit tells Sudhanshu to perform the "aahuti", Sudhanshu does not want to do it without Uma but MIL forces him to do it and he get frightened, and stars screaming, Uma comes to his rescue and takes him to the room without completing the pooja.
The ladies in the pooja tell MIL that her daughter in law is bad and she did not let the pooja complete and asks her to go get Uma and Sudhanshu back. MIL goes to Uma's room and tells her to being Sudhanshu back down to complete the pooja, but Uma refuses saying that Sudhanshu is not well and she will not let her husband be made a laughing stock and tells MIL that she should be ashamed for using the pooja to make her (Uma) look bad in eyes of others.
MIL comes back down looking sad and again the ladies give Uma a bad name and says it's an bad omen that the pooja did not complete.
Namita is sitting outside on the fence and thinking, Purshotam comes and makes fun of her and tells her that the Basti people will accept her as an unwed mother like they did with Sapna, Namita goes inside, sees her parents sleeping and they show the medicines of her father lying on the table.
Its morning, Sapna comes to wake up Namita, Namita does not get up, Sapna turns Namita around and sees a medicine bottle lying open on the bed.
At the Jajodia House, MIL gets a call from some lady who has heard about the pooja's episode, when she sees Uma and Sudhanshu leaving. MIL asks Uma where she is going, Uma tells her wherever she is going she is going with her husband, MIL tries to be a little pushy, Uma tells her that she wanted to show others that her daughter-in-law is not good and that's what they saw, and she (Uma) heard them saying that it's a bad omen to leave the pooja incomplete, so she is going to the mandir with Sudhanshu.
Uma and Sudhanshu leave and MIL thinks that she is flying too high, there is a need to trim her wings.
Uma is on the way out when she gets a call from Pooja informing her about Namita trying to commit suicide at is now at the hospital. Uma and Sudhanshu go to the hospital. At the hospital the doctor informs them that Namita and the kid are fine, but there could be complications in delivery, and advises them to keep Namita happy.
Uma leaves Sudhanshu at the hospital and goes to the office to see Sambhav. Sambhav is in his office with some girl, when Uma enters he tells Uma that she is a secretary of his client and they are discussing some proposal. Uma tells them of his affair with Namita saying that he would treat her the same way, when Sambhav tries to stop her from talking and Uma slaps Sambhav. Uma informs Sambhav that as he refused to marry Namita she has attempted to commit suicide and if something happens to Namita she will go to the police station and file a complaint against him.
Pooja is shooting for a dance and cannot concentrate, when the director makes a pass at her and tells her to spend time with him at a friends place. Pooja gets angry and screams at the director, Purshotam is also there and tells Pooja to apologize, Pooja refuses, Purshotam starts hitting Pooja, she pushes him to save herself, he falls and a huge light falls on him injuring his head.
Sambhav complains to Dushyant about Uma coming to the office and slapping him and threatning to make a police complaint. Dushyant tells him he is on his own to handle Uma as he cannot risk being involved in a police complaint case. Sambhav tells Dushyant that he was going to use Namita pregnancy, but Dushyant tells him that as Uma did not sign the documents now its no use to him and he is on his own in this matter, and Dushyant leaves.
Sudha is coming downstairs and hears part of their conversation, and tells Sambhav that his brother is like that, and he has committed many sins siding with his brother and now he has been given a chance to repent. Sambhav thinks.
Munna and Gondia arrive at the hospital to be with Pooja, the doctor tells them to deposit Rs.20,000/= as Purshotam needs to be kept in the hospital for a few days. Munna leaves to collect money from the Basti, Gondia advises Pooja to call Uma.
Pooja calls Uma and informs her about Purshotam and tells her about the money, Uma hesitates, but agrees to arrange something the next morning. After conversation with Pooja Uma thinks from where is she going to get the money.
Munna comes back empty handed from the Basti, Pooja tells him that Uma will give the money tomorrow morning. Purshotam is out from the operating room, the doctor tells them he need blood, Munna and Gondia offer to donate.
Sudhanshu is sleeping, Uma is sitting and thinking, she goes to the cupboard, opens is and takes out the Kangans. Sudhanshu gets up and asks Uma what she is doing, she tells him she was looking for her Kangans.
